Sasha Sweets grew up in California as a natural hustler — selling candy before moving to drugs, working at a strip club, and always chasing the finer things in life while her father was in prison for part of her childhood — before getting into a scamming operation with the father of her child in her early twenties that produced a federal indictment, 3.5 years in federal prison across California, Kentucky, and Arizona, and over $2 million in restitution. _____________________________________________ #crimenews #prisonstory #truecrimestories #scam _____________________________________________ Thank you to CASH APP for sponsoring this episode: Download Cash App Today: https://click.cash.app/ui6m/6pao71et #CashAppPod Cash App is a financial services platform, not a bank. Kamie Crawford (former co-host of MTV's Catfish: The TV Show, now host of Relationsht*) sits down with Shan to unpack what actually keeps a catfishing scheme alive long after the story stops adding up. The conversation centers on Troi, who spent years believing he was in an email and phone relationship with a woman named Belly. His brother's boo, Tatiana, introduced him to her sister, Belly. Then came the car accident. Belly lost her memory entirely, Troi included. When the call finally came, it wasn't from Belly. It was Tatiana, breathless, saying Belly finally remembered him. Troi thought that was the end of the strange part, but it wasn't. Months later, his brother's choir competition landed in Orlando on the one day that mattered most to Troi: his own birthday. Tatiana and her sisters were finally coming to meet him in person. Years of phone calls and near-misses, about to become an IRL meetup. But you know how this goes by now... They never showed. What arrived instead was a video, of someone filming him from the crowd, sent as proof they'd been there all along. No Belly. No Tatiana. What happens after is even more shocking. That's the story I sat down with Kamie Crawford to unpack this week: not just how a lie like this gets built, but who is behind those lies and the psychology behind why. —----------- A huge thank you to Article for sponsoring this podcast! Tiffany Vulcain grew up neglected by her parents, cycled through group homes and juvenile detention, spent her teenage years around gang life, and hit the streets on her own after turning 18 before a credit card scheme and the wrong group of people produced a five year federal prison sentence — and had to give birth in one of the most isolating and most institutionally indifferent environments available. In this episode of Locked In with Ian Bick, she shares what a childhood defined by neglect, group homes, and juvenile detention really produced before the streets found her, what the federal prison sentence that followed the credit card scheme actually looked like from the inside, and what being pregnant in federal prison and giving birth behind bars actually required of a woman who had spent her entire life fighting to survive systems that were never built to help her. _____________________________________________ #pregnancy #prison #truecrimestories #pregnant _____________________________________________ Connect with Tiffany Vulcain: https://www.instagram.com/tjvulcain/ _____________________________________________ Hosted, Executive Produced & Edited By Ian Bick: https://www.instagram.com/ian_bick/?hl=en https://ianbick.com/ _____________________________________________ Timestamps: 00:00 Introduction and Tiffany's Story 00:22 Early Life and Foster Care 01:18 Life in Jamaica vs. New York 02:10 Dysfunctional Home and Abuse 04:19 Running Away and Finding the Streets 06:11 Entering the Group Home 07:19 Freedom and Life of Crime Begins 09:40 Gang Involvement and Acceptance 10:46 Teenage Arrest and Juvenile Detention 13:13 Inside the Juvenile Facility 14:14 Returning Home and Foster Care Again 16:03 Aging Out and Exploitation 17:16 Escalating Crime and Credit Card Fraud 20:08 How the Fraud Worked 21:45 Facing the Victims 23:42 Self-Perception and Morality 24:42 Getting Caught in Virginia 27:59 The Federal Investigation 29:13 Turning Yourself In 31:28 The Plea Deal and Decision to Not Snitch 33:47 Estrangement from Family 34:15 Arrested Again While Pregnant 35:43 Experiencing Rikers Island 38:00 Sentencing and Lost Self-Surrender 40:08 Transport to MDC Brooklyn 41:40 The MINT Program and Women in MDC 43:57 Husband and Baby Plans 45:08 Giving Birth in Prison 53:16 Compassion vs. Desensitization 54:20 After Birth: Hospital and Advocacy 56:20 Baby in ICU and Special Permission 57:42 Leaving the Hospital Without Baby 01:00:42 Returning to Prison in Depression 01:02:02 Danbury Prison and Transition to Male Facility 01:04:12 Fight and Transfer to Philadelphia 01:07:23 The Shoe and Diesel Therapy 01:10:01 Flight with Chris Brown 01:11:42 Visits and Regret 01:12:24 Life in Philadelphia and Self-Discovery 01:14:00 Another Fight and Return to Brooklyn 01:15:20 Coming Home Without a Plan 01:16:00 Post-Prison Struggles and Betrayal 01:17:20 The Turning Point 01:19:20 Healing and Rebranding 01:20:14 Finding Purpose in Re-entry Work 01:22:51 Current Success and Roles 01:24:10 Message to Younger Self _____________________________________________ To advertise on the show, contact sales@advertisecast.com or visit https://advertising.libsyn.com/LockedInWithIanBicka
Eli44 grew up in Texas, took to the streets at a young age, did his first bid in the Texas Department of Corrections where he joined the Tango Blasts, and then caught a nearly 15 year federal sentence that sent him into federal medium security facilities and federal penitentiaries where he spent nearly a decade navigating the gang politics, the violence, and the disciplinary transfers that define life as a Tango Blast inside the federal system. In this episode of Locked In with Ian Bick, he shares what being a Tango Blast inside the federal system actually looks like — the rules, the politics, the violence, and the specific survival mindset that nearly 10 years inside some of the most brutal federal facilities in the country required of him — and what finally getting out and turning his life completely around actually took after everything those years produced. _____________________________________________ #crimestory #prison #truecrimestories _____________________________________________ Thank you to FACTOR & HIMS for sponsoring this episode: Factor: Head to https://factormeals.com/lockedin50off and use code lockedin50off to get 50 percent off and 1 free breakfast item per box for 1 year, while supplies last until! _____________________________________________ Hims: Visit https://hims.com/lockedin to get a personalized, affordable plan that gets you. _____________________________________________ Connect with Eli44: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thereal_eli44/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCd1XjhE0mMb34j-FwQsez3A/feed TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thereal_eli44 _____________________________________________ Hosted, Executive Produced & Edited By Ian Bick: https://www.instagram.com/ian_bick/?hl=en https://ianbick.com/ _____________________________________________ Timestamps: 00:00 Introduction 00:20 Growing Up in Austin 01:47 Finding the Streets and Music 04:21 Early Hustle and First Arrests 05:59 The Katrina Clash and Carrying a Weapon 08:00 The Music Scene and Getting Deeper 10:10 Jack Boys and Robberies 13:29 Caught with Drugs and a Gun 15:31 Going to TDC and Getting Initiated 18:00 Life in the State Prison 20:00 The Music Blows Up 22:00 Returning to the Drug Game 24:04 The Setup and Getting Caught 34:00 The Arrest and Aftermath 36:48 The Feds Get Involved 40:35 Cartel Pressure and Family Threats 44:00 Federal Sentence and Time in County 47:59 Life in the Federal Pen 54:00 The Politics of the Yard 01:04:00 A Standoff and Stealing an Amp 01:09:00 The Theft and Its Consequences 01:13:00 A Show of Force and Diplomacy 01:20:00 A Fight and a Stabbing 01:29:00 Spiritual Awakening at Atwater 01:36:00 The SMU Program 01:44:00 Meeting Kodak Black 01:50:00 The Horrors of the SMU 01:55:00 Texas Syndicate Rivalry 02:00:00 Life After the SMU 02:00:04 The SMU Experience 02:02:30 Coming Home and New Beginnings 02:04:55 Current Life and Outreach _____________________________________________ To advertise on the show, contact sales@advertisecast.com or visit https://advertising.libsyn.com/LockedInWithIanBick

I'm always asking questions. The fun begins when you start researching for answers. Such as… Doesn't the real story of the Bible pretty much say, “Everybody will get caught?” Plus…is God one of us or are we one of Gods? I'm Arroe… I am a daily writer. A silent wolf. I stand on the sidelines and do nothing but watch, listen study then activate. I call it The Daily Mess. A chronological walk through an everyday world. Yes, it's my morning writing. As a receiver of thoughts and ideas, we as people tend to throw it to the side and deal with it later. When a subject arrives, I dig in. It's still keeping a journal! By doing the research the picture becomes clearer. This is the Daily Mess… Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-unplugged-totally-uncut--994165/support.

Kai "Verse" Tyler had every advantage — a great upbringing in New Jersey a successful mother who pushed him to do better an Ivy League education and a promising career in the music business. But despite all of that he was a hustler. What started as selling weed as a teenager scaled into the big leagues — flying pounds across the country working with major connects and generating $60,000 a week in profit at his prime. He made millions in the weed game while simultaneously building a strong reputation as a music executive. Then someone in his crew set him up and the feds caught up with everything — resulting in a 5 year federal sentence. _____________________________________________ #college #prison #truecrimestories _____________________________________________ Connect with Kai "Verse" Tyler: https://www.instagram.com/clothtalkverse/?hl=en _____________________________________________ Hosted, Executive Produced & Edited By Ian Bick: https://www.instagram.com/ian_bick/?hl=en https://ianbick.com/ _____________________________________________ Timestamps: 00:00 Intro & Guest Background 03:33 Upbringing & Early Influences 09:07 Private School, College, and Family Lessons 15:28 Early Hustles & Legal Troubles 21:48 Music Industry Ambitions & Double Life 26:39 Scaling Up: From Small Time to Big Weight 34:52 Making Major Connections & Going Nationwide 43:22 The Downfall: Setups, Betrayal, and the Bust 54:34 Getting Caught, Legal Maneuvers & Sentencing 01:00:12 Federal Time: Prison Strategy & Survival 01:13:40 Lessons, Regrets, and Reentry 01:22:38 Life After Prison & Staying Out of Trouble 01:34:08 Detailed Prison Stories & Takeaways 01:52:33 Final Reflections & Closing Thoughts _____________________________________________ To advertise on the show, contact sales@advertisecast.com or visit https://advertising.libsyn.com/LockedInWithIanBicka Learn more about your ad choices. Sabu Stanley grew up in Brooklyn and lost his father to cancer as a child. His mother kept him grounded and out of trouble — until she passed from cancer too. Without her the streets of Brooklyn became his family. His first run in with the law sent him to Rikers Island where he became a Blood. Gang life eventually led to a 16 year sentence in New York State prison. In this episode of Locked In with Ian Bick, Sabu tells the complete story — from losing both parents to the streets taking him in to Rikers Island in the 90s and early 2000s to becoming a Blood to rising as a major drug player in Brooklyn to the 16 year sentence that defined the next chapter of everything. _____________________________________________ #brooklyn #rikersisland #crime _____________________________________________ Thank you to FACTOR & GLD for sponsoring this episode: Factor: Head to http://factormeals.com/lockedin50off and use code lockedin50off to get 50 percent off and free daily greens per box, with new subscription only, while supplies last until 09/27/2026. Julio Almanza grew up in Chicago after his father walked out — and that loss set everything in motion. The streets became his family the Satan Disciples became his identity and the Mexican cartel became his employer. At just 17 years old he was caught smuggling drugs on the Mexico side of the border and spent the next four years locked up in a Mexican prison before being transferred to federal custody in the United States. When he got out he went straight back. Ten more years in federal prison followed. He left the Satan Disciples and joined the Latin Kings — and his former gang immediately put hits out on him. He survived moved to Arizona to start over ended up back inside and finally turned his life around completely. _____________________________________________ #cartel #prison #truecrimestories _____________________________________________ Thank you to GLD & FACTOR for sponsoring this episode: GLD: New customers get 40% Off with code LOCKEDIN at https://www.gld.com/ _____________________________________________ Factor: Head to http://factormeals.com/lockedin50off and use code lockedin50off to get 50 percent off and free daily greens per box, with new subscription only, while supplies last until 09/27/2026. Simple Pin Podcast: Simple ways to boost your business using Pinterest
Lately, there's been a lot of chatter about Pinterest traffic trending downward, and with it comes a whole slew of theories, including algorithm changes, technical glitches, and even the dreaded “AI slop” taking over. I get it. It's frustrating to watch your numbers dip and not know where to place the blame. But here's my question: are we spending too much time chasing low-value, $1 tasks like deleting pins or mass-joining group boards, when we should be focusing on higher-return, $10 tasks? In one client case, by leveraging Pinterest trends intentionally, we saw a 119% increase in traffic. Charles "Cadillac" Anderson joins Locked In with Ian Bick to share his story of spending over 20 years in the Arkansas and federal prison systems. Growing up in a rough neighborhood surrounded by gangs and violence, with his father in and out of his life, Charles was raised by a mother who did everything she could—but the streets pulled him in. Trying to fit in and be accepted led to a robbery charge that landed him 13 years in the Arkansas prison system, where he was sent to a max unit and exposed to extreme violence on a daily basis. In this episode, he talks about being stabbed in prison, witnessing brutal attacks, and what it takes to survive behind bars. After his release, he developed a drug addiction and began dealing, which ultimately led to a federal prison sentence. Charles opens up about hitting rock bottom, the cycle of crime and addiction, and how he finally turned his life around after serving decades behind bars. This is a raw, unfiltered look at prison life, violence, addiction, and redemption. _____________________________________________ #PrisonStory #ExInmate #TrueCrime #PrisonLife #BehindBars #LifeSentence #FederalPrison #lockedinpodcast _____________________________________________ Connect with Charles "Cadilac" Anderson: https://www.facebook.com/charles.cadillac.anderson _____________________________________________ Hosted, Executive Produced & Edited By Ian Bick: https://www.instagram.com/ian_bick/?hl=en https://ianbick.com/ _____________________________________________ Shop Locked In Merch: http://www.ianbick.com/shop _____________________________________________ Timestamps: 00:00 How He Lost 20 Years of His Life 00:19 Growing Up in Southwest Little Rock 01:19 His Childhood and Family Life 03:37 Trouble Started Early 04:46 First Crimes as a Kid 05:56 Addiction Took Over Fast 07:55 Dropping Out of School 09:49 Missed Chances That Changed Everything 11:07 First Robberies 13:11 Getting Caught 16:13 First Time in Jail 17:46 Learning How to Survive 19:19 Sentenced and Sent to Prison 21:26 Life in Maximum Security 23:33 Violence Inside Prison 26:34 Solitary Confinement 30:56 Getting Out and Starting Over 33:43 Relapse and Losing Everything Again 36:53 Second Arrest and Federal Charges 42:12 Back to Prison 50:33 Prison Politics and Survival 56:12 Finally Getting Out 01:03:43 Turning His Life Around 01:10:10 What He Would Tell His Younger Self _____________________________________________ To advertise on the show, contact sales@advertisecast.com or visit https://advertising.libsyn.com/LockedInWithIanBicka Learn more about your ad choices. Branden Hudson and Chet open by joking about politics, then discuss lessons from gym ownership and “failures” in running a combat sports gym. Branden explains that after parting ways with a Maryland/Delaware group he had more time to evaluate SBY's operations and found major gaps in systems, processes, onboarding, cancellations, finances, and CRM usage, including delegating responsibilities he hadn't learned himself. They stress knowing financial numbers (including member cost/value), stopping unnecessary spending, and getting help from a CFO/accountant to stop “hemorrhaging.” They emphasize creating SOPs for everything, clarifying roles to avoid overlap, and training properly when bringing on staff. They warn against getting consumed by member drama, advise removing cultural “cancers” quickly, and share a story where Branden's coaching delivery drove off a new member, prompting him to take ownership, apologize, and refund fees. They close on entrepreneurship being hard, lonely, and growth-focused, and ask viewers to like, subscribe, share, and review.00:00 Welcome and Subscribe00:34 No Politics Just Gym Talk01:40 Parting Ways and Growth Lessons04:04 Locking In and Fixing Holes07:25 Coaches vs Management Challenges09:50 CRM Chaos and Delegation Mistakes13:14 Know Your Numbers and Costs17:52 Expansion Decisions and Space Limits19:21 Stopping the Bleeding with a CFO20:15 Masterminds and Building SOPs22:24 Overloading New Staff22:50 Role Clarity Board Meeting24:30 Delegation and Duty Swaps25:55 SOPs That Scale28:14 Sales Talk and Listening30:08 Drama and Member Turnover33:57 Culture Cancers Fire Fast35:37 Dont Take It Personal38:55 Owning a Coaching Mistake43:28 Entrepreneur Reality Check44:47 Final Takeaways and Outro
