Often when we are anxious, overwhelmed, stressed, or fraught with racing thoughts; we may find ourselves stuck. If we feel we are unable to leave, these negative feelings can overstay their welcome. This practice helps you greet these feelings without self-judgment, sit with them without harm, and allow them to leave you in peace and freedom. This 9 minute exercise should be practiced and repeated to help train your mind to deal with anxious and overwhelming thoughts as they appear throughout your life. This is not a quick fix, and should not be used as such. Doing this once or twice will at best have minor results.
