Authors Bob Goff and Kimberly Stuart have helped hundreds of writers push their words from the crazy-dream stage to holding books with actual bar codes. After a bunch of years in publishing and bunch of books launched, Bob and Kim have found that, like most things, writing works best when tackled with good friends. The Writing Room is a place where authors talk shop, stoke their curiosity, and get the nudge we all need to finish our work.Â
The Writing Room with Bob Goff and Kimberly Stuart is an incredibly empowering podcast that provides practical information and encouragement for aspiring writers. Bob and Kim share their expertise and experience in a way that makes you feel supported and guided through the writing process. This podcast has given me hope and confidence in my own writing journey, and I can't wait to see my book come to life someday.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the dynamics between Bob, Kim, and their guests. They dive deep into various aspects of the writing process, providing insightful and helpful tips that are applicable to both beginner and experienced writers. The discussions are engaging, inspiring, and leave you with tools and techniques to improve your craft.
The worst aspect of this podcast is that it is bimonthly rather than biweekly. As a listener who eagerly awaits each episode, I would love to have more frequent releases to keep me motivated and inspired on my writing journey. However, despite this minor drawback, the quality of each episode makes up for the longer wait time.
In conclusion, The Writing Room with Bob Goff and Kimberly Stuart is a must-listen podcast for anyone interested in writing or aspiring to be an author. It offers a perfect balance of practical advice, encouragement, and inspiration that will fuel your passion for writing. I am grateful for the gift of information this podcast provides and eagerly anticipate each new episode.

Bob stumbled upon McKinnon Galloway through social media, where she teaches basic sign language. As a teenager, she was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2), a rare and incurable genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, leading to her deafness. McKinnon has a beautiful ambition of bridging the gap between the hearing and deaf communities, which led her to start the Deaf District—a community where deaf or hard of hearing individuals can find resources, support, and a sense of belonging. Join us for an inspiring conversation about the challenges she has faced, the importance of surrounding oneself with supportive people, and the power of words.
