Megan Quigley was the 4th and final speaker of our Winter 2023 TOT series. She spoke on the importance of friendship and offered a testimony of her experience of Christian friendship. Bio: Megan is a Fort Wayne native and an alumna of the University of Saint Francis, where she now serves as the Assistant Director of the Assisi Program for Discipleship and Leadership. She loves walking alongside college students in their walk with the Lord and helping them embrace their unique missions in life. When she is not working or studying for grad school, she is probably making a mess in the kitchen, listening to music, thrift shopping, strolling around Fort Wayne, or eating soup and reading at Anastasia's Café. She would be nothing without the deep friendship of Jesus and the gift of others who reveal His face in her life.
Brittany Tull was the 3rd speaker in our Winter 2023 TOT series. She spoke on the importance of community for us as Christians, how it forms and impacts us, and how we are called to build community. Bio: Brittany Tull works in Youth and Young Adult Ministry at Saint Pius X in Granger, IN. Brittany grew up in the Tampa Bay area and made her way to the Midwest for college when she attended Franciscan University of Steubenville. Following graduation, she earned her Master's Degree in Theology from Notre Dame through the Echo Program. She began her professional career working in youth and young adult ministry in Houston, TX; then moved back to South Bend in 2018 to get engaged and married to her husband, Jimmy. Brittany's hobbies include hiking with her family, playing violin and guitar, and popping out from behind furniture to make her 1 year old giggle.
Michael Dopp was the 2nd speaker in the 2023 Winter Series. He offers a compelling message how every Catholic has a mission to evangelize and offers tips on how to do so in our every day lives. Bio: Michael Dopp graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with Bachelor degrees in Business Administration (BBA) and Philosophy (BA), St. Augustine's at the University of Toronto with a Bachelor in Theology (STB) and Master of Divinity (MDiv), and Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Michigan with a Licentiate in Sacred Theology (STL) with a concentration on the new evangelization. He is currently completing an MBA at Huntington University. Michael has been involved in a variety of ministries dedicated to evangelization and has been involved in mission projects in Europe, Africa, and North America. Michael has spoken globally in over 35 dioceses. In addition to founding Mission of the Redeemer Ministries, he is also author and presenter of “relit: The heart of evangelization,” and founder of several podcasts. He moved from Otttawa, Canada, to Fort Wayne, IN in 2021 with his wife and four young children.
Fr. Andrew Budzinski spoke on the importance of prayer and our relationship with Christ for a proper understanding of our identity. BIO: Fr. Andrew Budzinski is pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fort Wayne and Vocations Director for our diocese. A native of South Bend, Fr. Andrew grew up at Holy Family parish, attended the University of Notre Dame, and while a parishioner at St. Pius X in Granger, sensed a call to the priesthood. His fifteen minutes of fame was as the Leprechaun mascot for Notre Dame during his junior and senior years. However, he is extremely sensitive about his Leprechaun-like height and baldness and doesn't like to talk about this dark period of his life. Immediately before entering seminary, Fr. Andrew worked in the radio industry in South Bend. It was the perfect storm of spinning “MMM Bop” by the Hanson Brothers and “If You Wanna” by the Spice Girls every night that convinced him he was called to a different life.
