Experiencing a financial blackout these days in our instant gratification society is something that is actually quite normal. A financial blackout is similar to a blackout someone might experience with alcohol or drugs, but in the context of money. It's a state where you lose control or awareness of your financial decisions—spending or making financial decisions without fully being conscious and present of the consequences until you "come to" and realize the damage. Is this something you have experienced? In this lesson I walk you through what you might experience in a financial blackout and the tools to use to help support you through it and come out the other side.

Today Linda welcomes fellow She Recovers Coach Bronwen Thorburn to chat about the parallels of our relationship with money and food.  Our experience has been that restricting both food and spending can lead to binge eating/binge spending. Diet Culture and so many rules in our society teach us that there are good and bad foods; with money, we can label purchases good or bad.  The conversation we have in this episode is so beautiful in questioning what we have been taught and how we can move forward and trust our choices.  Link to Group Coaching program - Reclaiming: https://www.lindaparmar.com/reclaiming
