Uncensored and unfiltered sports opinions on everything baseball, football, and basketball.
The NFL season has concluded and the Los Angeles Rams are the Super Bowl LVI champions. It was a battle of the defenses, with spurts of offensive highlights, but the Cincinnati Bengals fell short at the end to lose 23-20. In this episode of Zoomin' with the Boys, we talk about the game and what led to a Rams Super Bowl victory. We discuss the epic halftime show performances from Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem. The performance also included a surprise appearance from 50 Cent, which has had the internet buzzing with memes since. This is our last NFL episode covering the season, as we patiently await the free agency period in March and the 2022 NFL Draft in April. Cheers until then!
We are back with NBA coverage and we have a lot of ground to make up since our last NBA episode in January. We talk about everything that's gone down in the league, from the trade deadline, the NBA All-Star Draft, and how teams have been rising and falling. The trade deadline included a blockbuster trade between the Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers that included Ben Simmons and James Harden. It is apparent from the NBA All-Star Draft that Kevin Durant feels a way about Harden practically forcing his way out of Brooklyn. The Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns have risen to the top of their respective conferences. Joel Embiid has been making his case for MVP and Dejounte Murray has been putting on a clinic despite playing for the San Antonio Spurs. And we're still trying to completely understand what is going on with the Los Angeles Lakers. No wait. Russell Westbrook is still there. Got it!
Off camera you could hear a pin drop. Unless you were deaf. We talk about Super Bowl LVI and give our predictions for an obscure matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams. The boys give our first "PMS Report" which includes our keys to success for both clubs. We also talk briefly about other NFL news circulating the league, such as the Alvin Kamara arrest, Mike McDaniel becoming the head coach for the Miami Dolphins, and Kyler Murray deleting most of his Instagram pictures and unfollowing the Arizona Cardinals on social media. You also don't want to miss the EPIC halftime show with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige!
We're back! In this episode of Zoomin' with the Boys, we shake off some of the rust and launch Season 2 of the podcast here on Potty Mouth Sports. We pick up where we left off before our break, covering the 2022 NFL Playoffs in its entirety. We give our thoughts on everything that went down, from the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys disappointing early departures, the San Francisco 49ers making an impressive run, to Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals shocking the world by beating the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship to secure a Super Bowl appearance. Finally, we talk about more news around the league, including the retirement of both Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady. We talk about it all!
Join us in celebrating our first season as a podcast. It has definitely been a new experience and we have learned so much already. To all of those who participated, supported, watched or listened: Thank You! We love you all and can't wait to deliver new content next month. Until the launch of Season 2, peace and love!
Bye week for some. Tough loss for others. But this isn't just another week in the NFL. Playoffs are officially 4 weeks away and it looks like it's going to be another nail biter finish for many teams to squeak into a playoff spot. The next couple weeks will knock some teams out of playoff contention, some teams will solidify their playoff spots and divisional berths. We talk about everything that went down in Week 14, talk about the playoff picture as it stands currently, and give our predictions for Week 15!
25 games in. 1 month in. We cover the month of November in the NBA, which showed plenty of faces already in the running for awards and playoff runs. Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are making a statement. The Milwaukee Bucks are beginning to climb back to the top of the Eastern Conference. Jimmy Butler is having a hard time staying healthy. The Chicago Bulls are the beast of the East that we thought they'd be. LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are a mess. No question about it. Oh, and Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons have yet to play or find new homes. There is still tons of time left in the season.
Week 13 of the 21-22 NFL season has come and gone, and the playoff picture is beginning to look more clear by the day! Obviously, some of us here at Potty Mouth Sports there's some wiggle room to be had. In this episode of Zoomin' with the Boys, we give our thoughts on all that went down in Week 13, including horrible officiating in the Pittsburgh Steelers- Baltimore Ravens game, the Detroit Lions winning their first game (finally), the Dallas Cowboys squeaking by the struggling New Orleans Saints and the Miami Dolphins keeping the streak alive.
Thanksgiving week has come and gone in the NFL and only some of us remain thankful. In Week 12, division leading teams are beginning to step away with their respectful divisions and some still remain a mystery. It is almost time to make our Potty Mouth Sports playoff predictions, but we still have a couple of weeks for wiggle room. These next 6 weeks are the most important in the NFL. We give our picks for Week 13, as divisional matchups become more important. Heck, every single game is important right now! It's the NFL! Hot takes stay coming!
Naps, work, school projects? Doesn't matter. We're still here, bringing you another episode of Zoomin' with the Boys, where we recap Week 11 in the NFL. The Miami Dolphins increase their win streak to 3, the Buffalo Bills got smoked by the Indianapolis Colts, the Detroit Lions continue to inch towards their first win, the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs faced off and the New England Patriots are red hot! We also give our predictions for Week 12 aka the "Thanksgiving Week", which features 3 Thursday games that aren't really too exciting to be honest. But it's another week in the NFL and our hot takes will only go so far because some contender is bound to fumble their game. Pun intended.
With just over half of the 2021-2022 NFL season remaining, we are back with another episode of Zoomin' with the Boys. We talk about the shenanigans that carried out in Week 10, including the New England Patriots blowing out the Cleveland Browns, the Dallas Cowboys holding the Atlanta Falcons to 3 points, the Miami Dolphins' defense shutting down Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens, and a tie between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions. We also give our picks for Week 11, which left one of our hosts out in the cold by himself with his hot takes. Ironic, we know!
We started off the video on a buzz and it carried throughout the whole episode! We recapped Week 9 in the NFL, which had a few of our hosts sharing their opposite perspectives on the Steelers-Bears Monday night game. We also give our picks for Week 10 and there was some pettiness and spite in the choices. We are now in the second half of the 21-22 NFL season and there is still a lot of ground for every team to cover!
Basketball is BACK!!! In Episode 35 of Zoomin' with the Boys, we bring in guest host Nick to talk about the first two weeks of the 2021-2022 NBA season in October. We attempted to briefly discuss how our favorite teams are doing and what teams we think are over-achieving and under-achieving, but we ended up discussing how every team is doing (nothing wrong with that)! We also discuss the "James Harden Foul" rule change and how we think it'll bring glimpses of 2000's basketball back into the game today. The league is now in talks about the fast-break foul rule change and we express our support for that.
In this episode of Zoomin' with the Boys, Brandon and Ryan sit down to discuss the World Series between the Atlanta Braves and the Houston Astros. With the Braves defeating the Astros 4-2 in the series, it marks the first World Series championship for Atlanta since 1995. It's safe to say we here at Potty Mouth Sports are satisfied with the result of the World Series. We also discuss potential rule changes that we think would improve the game, from pace of play, to more exciting plays and higher batting averages. Finally, we slightly hint at the intensity of the 2022 offseason and all of the free agents available. This will be our last baseball episode until our offseason review and 2022 MLB season preview in March! See you then!
In this episode of Zoomin' with the Boys, we talk about the "week of the backup" in the NFL. Trevor Siemian and the New Orleans Saints defense sealed the deal against Tom Brady and the division rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mike White threw for 400 yards to push the New York Jets win a close game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Geno Smith got some help from D.K. Metcalf as the Seattle Seahawks got it done against Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars Amari Cooper? Nope. Las Vegas betting odds flipped the switch on the Dallas Cowboys following the news of Dak Prescott sitting out against the Vikings and Cooper Rush took care of business for "America's Team". In other news, Aaron Rodgers became a meme again. "Milk Bag" Mac Jones and Bill Belichick scientifically beat the Los Angeles Chargers. We also discuss the trade deadline, with the biggest trade being Von Miller heading to the Los Angeles Rams. We briefly discuss the Henry Ruggs III "DUI" issue that popped out of nowhere Tuesday morning. Finally, we all give our predictions for Week 9 of the 2021 NFL season, which has great matchups and one matchup in particular that has been deemed the "Toilet Bowl" by one of our guests.
In this episode of Zoomin' with the Boys, we had to shut down some crazy takes and speculations made by our friend of the show Seb. We give our thoughts on a slow Week 7 in the NFL and our predictions for Week 8. We dabble briefly in some trade rumors made before the deadline before we go over all the moves that will be made in the next week!
We are just here so we don't get fined. Obviously, we are absolutely THRILLED to see the Houston Astros taking on the Atlanta Braves in the 2021 World Series. We are praying for an Atlanta Braves series sweep, but we also highly doubt that.
We honestly have no idea what is going on with the Miami Dolphins. We wish we did. Derrick Henry is ANIMAL! Baker Mayfield needs to get his shoulder looked at and take a nap. Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals are STILL undefeated. And, without surprise, the Detroit Lions still don't have a win. Week 7 is clustered with blowout potential games so we give our easy takes on the matchups for the week...some of them are not what you think.
The NBA season is here and Jordan and Brandon are eager to talk about everything! There's been a lot to discuss all over the league; from the offseason moves, the Ben Simmons trade fiasco, the Kyrie Irving vaccine mandate ordeal, and more! Everyone (for the most part) is back on the court and we hope to see all the superstars around the league remain healthy throughout the season to see who will take home the Larry O'Brien trophy at the end of the 2021-2022 NBA season.
In this episode, the brothers cover everything that's gone down in the 2021 MLB Postseason since the last episode. We talk about the AL Wild Card Game, the Atlanta Braves upsetting the Milwaukee Brewers, and the blown check swing call that cost the San Francisco Giants an NLCS appearance. Obviously there's some Red Sox bias here!
In this episode of Zoomin' with the Boys, we go over the ridiculousness that was (Canadian) Thanksgiving weekend in the small town. There was also football this weekend, as Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills continue to make their statement across the league. Lamar Jackson pulled up his pants and took care of business singlehandedly against the Colts. Tom threw for 5 TD and 400 yards for the first time in his career. It's fair to say that quarterbacks imposed their will across the league this week.
Week 4 is done and wah it is hard to be a fan of some of these teams (some of ours included). We give our thoughts on what went down during Week 4 of the NFL season and give some predictions for Week 5 rapidly approaching on Thursday! Well...it's going to come quick when we go through 4 gallons of milk and a 40 ounce of vodka...you know the mix!
We are back with baseball content and what better time to bring it back! It was a wild ending to the season as it was a race to the finish line for the AL Wild Card race. We give our predictions for Cy Young and MVP and our predictions for the postseason all the way to the World Series!
Zoomin' with the Boys is back with a recap of Week 3 in the NFL. Justin Tucker's 66 yard kick, Las Vegas and Miami's overtime "thriller", the Los Angeles Rams on cruise control; we didn't miss a beat. We also gave our predictions for Week 4...well we tried to squeeze it in around Seb's constant Bears absurd takes and comments!
May "the force" be with you. Week 2 didn't shape out how a lot of us expected but we did a deep dive on every game this week. The Chicago Bears have officially been renamed "Seb's Bears" and we give our predictions for what's to come in Week 3 of the NFL season. There is no doubt that football is back.
We are back with another episode of "Zoomin' with the Boys" and we go over the circus that was Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season. We also give some insight on our performances for our fantasy teams and our predictions for Week 2. Things got a little heated and the Packers-Saints outcome was a bit of a sensitive subject.
Motivational. Ambitious. Faith. Wears his heart on his sleeve. The ability to conquer all of life's obstacles and still keep running. A true class act. Today, the "Boys" sat down with Chris Caulk, former WR from USC, to talk about his experience playing Division 1 football, some of the challenges to make it there, life in southern California, and his future plans after football.

October is right around the corner and the big dogs of the MLB are pretty much set in stone. Now there is a month and a half left in the 2021 season, as things begin to intensify and teams begin to run away with playoff spots. We talk about it all.
The MLB trade deadline has come and gone, and there was a lot of moves to talk about. For the majority of the moves, superstar players were exchanged for prospects, as the powerhouse teams added to their already great teams for a playoff push in the last few months of the 2021 season.

Fresh off an alcohol-infused vacation, the Boys are back and shaking the rust off as we cover the MLB All-Star Game and the Home-Run Derby. We also dabble in the 2021 MLB Draft and talk briefly about the upcoming trade deadline on July 30th. We're back to work!
It's funny how the All-Star rosters are overflowing with home runs but the Home Run Derby can't seem to find any besides Shohei Ohtani. Regardless, we talk about the 2021 MLB All-Star Game held in Colorado as well as the lineup for the 2021 Home Run Derby.
The 2021 NBA Finals is finally amongst us as the "Boys" preview the series and give their predictions for an intense matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Phoenix Suns. Potty Mouth Sports also welcomes a new face to the "Zoomin' with the Boys" podcast.
We are half way through the 2021 MLB season and it has been a strange year for baseball to say the least. You want to know what the second highest payroll in baseball gets you? Second last in the division.
There's a chance there will be no familiar faces in the 2021 NBA Finals. But there are some familiar faces around the NBA family that are snatching head coaching positions. Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks start to run away from the Atlanta Hawks. Do Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers have what it takes to force a Game 7 against the blazing Phoenix Suns?
There's been a lot of drama all week about Ben Simmons' struggles in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals, but he's been Simmons. Kevin Durant was playing 1 on 5 against the Milwaukee Bucks but it wasn't enough to send the Brooklyn Nets to Eastern Conference Finals. The Western Conference Finals are officially underway, as the Clippers and Suns duel for an Finals appearance.
