Bobbie Frere | Matthew 7:13-23 [Jesus said,] 'Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.'Jesus challenges us to choose between two ways to live and two paths to follow. How do we find the right one, and be sure we are on it? Peter and Bobbie Frere lead this week's reflection, which also includes Cheryl Homer's account of fitting a day of special devotion into a busy, multi-tasking life. The full video version of this service, including music and a video report on children's activities, can be viewed on YouTube.

Quentin Tarantino sees everything these days—even the occasional Marvel movie. But in 1973, the year everyone was flocking to see 'Enter the Dragon,' a 10-year-old Tarantino spent most of his time in Knoxville, Tennessee, wishing he could click his heels and go back home to California. By the time 'Valley Girl' opened, he was dialed into mass culture but not yet able to create it. Join us for Episode 2 as we follow Quentin through the '70s and into the '80s.
Welcome to Pun Intended Podcast! We are a group of 30-somethings (and Zoe), currently in Flagstaff, AZ, who enjoy creative genius, puns, and wordplay exploration. In our second episode, we begin with a short recap (and subsequent overshare) about our Mother's Days. We then pick up with what we left off last time and learn about some particularly meaningful and witty song lyrics. Nick and Peter then debut several new word games, including 'Enter the Punderdome,' 'Balls Deep,' and 'Synonym Rolls.'As is the tradition in each episode, we end with 'Another Pun Bites the Dust,' where we get much-needed support and validation from each other about puns that have recently fallen flat. Especially, Peter, he seems to need a lot.Enjoy!Find all of our episodes on our website: PunIntendedPodcast.com.
LOST returns to form with the Sayid episode 'Enter 77' (Also, Jack & Jacob chat a bit about Game of Thrones - let us know if you want more @LostBoysPod)
I always wanted to Bruce Lee.I wanted to 'Enter the Dragon'.I wanted to be a star.I wanted to be noticed.Had I 'noticed', I would have realised that Bruce Lee was more introvert than extrovert. It would have been a crucial observation because as I ran through the swings karate kicking my friends in the balls, and head butting polystyrene walls, I thought that if you were an introvert, you might as well jump over Niagara Falls. When I was a drinker, had you cut me open with a rusty pocket knife, then the letters E X T R O V E R and T would have fallen into the fruit bowl alongside the pineapples, oranges and lychee. And then I stopped.Drinking.And as time stilled, and the waffles leapt from the toaster, and rich tea biscuits fell apart over my coaster, I began to wonder if the story I had created since the beginning of 'cool as fuck teenage time' was true. Was I an extrovert?I didn’t feel like one.And I think this search for who we are is an important one because it allows us to stick a stiletto in the sand and say.NO MORE!I love this person. And this one.And this one.And this one.And I vow to communicate with them in a way that doesn’t lead to me wanting to deliver the Bruce Lee 'one-inch death punch'. It’s not easy though.Discovering who we are.But at Strive we can help, and that’s what we talk about in today’s podcast when yours truly and Striver Claes speak about our intention of introducing Colour Code Personality Science into our TTAA philosophy.
