Lorraine Kirkley lives in Valparaiso Indiana with her loving husband Robert. Lori worked as a cardiac rehab nurse and seemed to really like her job. The couple were madly in love and had just put up their house for sale and had planned to move to South Bend which is where Robert worked. It was July 21, 1999 around 9:30pm Robert came home from work. Expecting Lori to be home as she was supposed to be, he arrived to an empty home. Even though no one was in the home, it was apparent someone had been there and helped themselves to a few of the belongings. Robert walked across the street to a neighbors and asked if they had seen Lori and when they told him they had not, Robert called 9-1-1. It would take years to find out exactly what happened to Lori.Join Jen and Cam on this Our True Crime Podcast episode entitled ‘Picture Proof: Lorraine Kirkley.'As always our listener discretion is by the wonderful @octoberpodVHS Our EP/ Music is by the stupenedous @wetalkofdreams.Sources:https://law.justia.com/cases/indiana/supreme-court/2003/09030301-rts.htmlhttps://charleyproject.org/case/lorraine-a-kirkleyhttps://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-2005-10-16-0510160225-story.htmlhttps://thecinemaholic.com/lori-kirkley-murder-where-is-david-malinski-now/https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-1999-08-06-9908060364-story.htmlhttps://www.nwitimes.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/murder-case-of-valparaiso-nurse-examined-in-discovery-true-crime-series/article_05c2c9bb-68b7-5b73-95ca-b3d80cdb6297.htmlhttps://www.nwitimes.com/uncategorized/husband-files-suit-against-malinski/article_fd76dcb0-fab1-5937-a451-b0d64cd6bd7b.htmlhttps://www.nwitimes.com/news/history/crime/true-crime/true-crime-lorraine-kirkley-disappeared-july-21-1999/collection_47a24482-554a-58a1-af7d-9ae38ec57b4d.html

Fabled Silver Gold (FCO TSXV) ( FBSGF: OTC ) controls 100% of the Santa Maria mine gold and silver property in Mexico. It is a high grade silver gold property that is situated right in the middle of the Mexican Epithermal silver gold belt that has reportedly produced more silver than any other equivalent area in the entire planet. To say it's a mining friendly jurisdiction is an understatement. Multiple major operators are in the vicinity and it's already got a silver equivalent 43-101 of 3.2m ounces, but is looking to add to that significantly with recent intercepts of 2269 g/t silver. That is not a typo, in other words it is also 2.269 kilos AgEq or 72 troy ounce. Just recently, Fabled encountered a new, previously unknown gold zone with the discovery of a high grade gold system with values up 10.85 g/t Au within 30.7m grading 161.09 Ag Eq, and the latest assays show 22 g/t gold in a discovery that increases the mineralization beyond known areas, and is open in all directions. Fabled is moving from high grade silver into a more gold rich environment that includes silver. This quote from Peter J. Hawley, CEO and President describes the discovery: ……“ 'As a result of discovering this new gold domain system, and ongoing interpretation of structural controls, assays results to date, and visual examination of recently drilled holes we have immediately expanded the present drilling by 5,000 meters, to a total of 14,200 meters. This will ensure that we have significant meterage to properly evaluate this gold discovery.'……..” we continue to define a new, never discovered high grade gold mineral domain system, with silver credits, over consistent widths in an area never explored, and which remains open to the west and at depth, plunging 45 degrees to the west and open in all directions for expansion." Fabled is intent on proving Santa Maria is bigger and of potentially higher grade than the market understands and is well on its way as the deposit appears to be developing at depth into a dominant high grade gold system. Sit back and enjoy as Peter Hawley President & CEO explains the importance of increasing the drill program beyond 14,000m and how expanding exploration will continue to yield discoveries.

Sacred Design Lab is a soul-centred research and development lab that explores and interprets the changing landscape of spiritual and community life. The Lab collaborates with divinely restless, intellectually curious and entrepreneurially practical leaders to help design and prototype the spiritual communities and infrastructure of the future, interpreting ancient best practice in the service of transformation. Sue Philips, one of the co-founders of the Lab says of herself that, 'I am relentlessly curious about liberating ancient wisdom to solve complex problems. I'm passionate about inspiring spiritual flourishing, designing for meaning making, and witnessing the transformation that happens when people roam around in what matters most.My wife and I share our 30-minute “family chapel” every morning, to remember who we want to be and what we care about, and to cultivate imagination for “the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible.”1I'm part business strategist, part design geek, and part monastic. Text by Jason Hanna, Gregory Lemos and Hollie SilvermanThe death toll for the Surfside, Florida, building collapse rose to 12, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said Tuesday. The total number of people unaccounted for is now 149 and the number of people accounted for is 125, Levine Cava said during the latest update on search and rescue efforts.Still, some, including the commander of an Israeli team helping to search the rubble, remain hopeful.Col. Golan Vach, commander of the Israeli National Rescue Unit, said that while this is the most difficult site he has ever worked, his team found new spaces in the rubble to search Monday and Tuesday."So there is still hope," Vach told CNN's Wolf Blitzer. "Until one week, I have a solid hope that we will find someone. After one week, it's minor."The building partially collapsed in the middle of the night last Thursday.Vach's team comprises 15 engineers, search and rescue experts and others. He said he's never seen a collapse like this one."This building collapsed very, very badly, if I can use this word, because it collapsed into itself," he said. "And the bedrooms that we are looking for, because the people (slept) in the bedrooms, are under 4 or 5 meters (13 to 16 feet) of concrete."Rescuers will continue to consider the unaccounted-for as "missing until they are found," Gov. Ron DeSantis said in a news conference late Tuesday morning."Nobody is giving up hope here. Nobody is stopping," Surfiside Mayor Charles Burkett said at the same news conference.Officials acknowledged that conditions at the site are challenging for emergency workers. Burkett told CNN's John Berman earlier on Tuesday that debris had fallen overnight Monday into Tuesday from portions of the building that remain standing.Additionally, workers are steering clear of a "45-foot area next to the building" because of concerns about overhanging debris from the standing portion, Miami-Dade Fire Chief Alan Cominsky said Tuesday.More than 3 million pounds of concrete have been removed during the rescue operation, Cominsky said.A six-person team of federal officials from the National Institute of Standards and Technology -- consisting of scientists, structural engineers and a geotechnical engineer -- is conducting a preliminary investigation of the collapsed building's materials, history and applicable building codes at the time the condo was built, the ground surrounding the building and numerous other factors, according to an agency official. The White House announced President Joe Biden planned to be in Surfside on Thursday to visit with victims' families and first responders.April 2021 letter said damage 'has gotten significantly worse'As investigators converge on the scene, questions are being asked about the building's structural integrity. An April 2021 letter from the condo's board president to residents said some damage observed in a 2018 engineer's report, including in the garage, "has gotten significantly worse.""The concrete deterioration is accelerating. The roof situation got much worse, so extensive roof repairs had to be incorporated," the letter from board President Jean Wodnicki reads.Wodnicki further described issues facing the building: "When you can visually see the concrete spalling (cracking), that means that the rebar holding it together is rusting and deteriorating beneath the surface."CNN has reached out to representatives of the condominium association for further comment.The 2018 report from an engineering firm documented severe structural damage to the concrete slab below the pool deck and "cracking and spalling" located in the parking garage. Spalling is a term used to describe areas of concrete that have cracked or crumbled. The 2021 letter sought to explain a $15 million assessment that condo owners were to pay for repairs to the building, with payments set to begin July 1. The association approved the assessment in April to complete repairs required under...

We don't want to do it, because we'll only believe it when we see it. So we don't plant the seed because the seed is like, 'As soon as I plant the seed, what I'm also going to do is, I'm going to walk away. I don't even know if I'm actually going to water it. I don't even know if I'm going to show up for it, because I really can't see that end.' But in order to plant the seeds and get excited and make the crops really beautiful, you have to be able to see it before you see it."

Rom-sploitation: Adapting Austen and Misunderstanding Materialism

'As if!' Jane Austen once described the scope of her work as 'the little bit (two inches wide) of ivory, on which I work with so fine a brush', an ambiguous writerly modesty that has contributed to her critical and popular characterisation as an elegant, apolitical author, unconcerned with the world beyond her finely-drawn drawing room satires. But Austen is a writer of prickly discomfort, her humour governed by the material rigours of regency society. Adaptations that fail to understand that Austen is 'way harsh' (in the words of Cher from Clueless, a latter-day Emma) will flop; those that grasp her brittle subtlety will flourish. We're taking you from Ang Lee's Sense and Sensibility (1995) to Joe Wright's Pride and Prejudice (2005) to Autumn de Wilde's Emma (2020); from Amy Heckerling's Clueless (1995) to Whit Stillman's Love and Friendship (2016). How do these films deal with the complex currencies of Austen's world? And how might Austen herself be used as a currency?

Privacy Policy and California Privacy Notice.

Certainly, getting the best from others is an art form. Examining the needs of others, is to examine the patterns that others may be experiencing. it may be a case of impostor syndrome, especially among the higher levels of business. Certainly, when it comes to training requirements, a good practice is to ascertain the research carried out by the attendee, along with any resources gathered so far, before scheduling time on a one-to-one basis. Lastly, the deployment of either coaching and mentoring depends very much upon the individual, the conversation, and the context. KEY TAKEAWAYS  If you can't manage your emotions, then the stock market is not an ideal place to play. With an online business, the only risk you take is giving over your time. The biggest risk that anyone takes in today's society, is not having a plan outside of the usual career path. Far too many settle into a routine and stay there. Get clear on your goals quickly. Decide where you want to be and start forming a plan that'll get you there. Every day you wait is a day you're losing out. Ascertain whether or not there's a real demand for your business. Do people want what you are offering? Always be sure that what you want to sell is something that will land, and not just an experiment. BEST MOMENTS 'With an online business, the only risk you're putting in is time' 'I had this incredible confidence, which you can only put down to massive levels of naivety' 'If you keep doing what you're doing, then you're one flu away from financial ruin' 'As soon as you get clear on your goals, you'll quickly realise that where you're going financially is not going to get you there' VALUABLE RESOURCES Scale Up Your Business – scaleup.vip/podcast Join the free Scale Up Your Business community: scaleup.vip/community Take the Six Peaks of Value Creation Scorecard, to measure your current business performance and show you where to focus to get to where you want to be: https://scaleup.vip/sixpeaks          Paul O'Mahony - https://www.paulomahony.com/start.php Funancial Freedom - www.funancialfreedom.com Paul O'Mahony LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/paulomahony1/?originalSubdomain=ie ABOUT THE HOST My name is Nick Bradley. He was born to a noble family in Alexandria. For a short time he taught rhetoric in Pelusium in Egypt; but soon his love for the things of God led him to flee to the Desert as a solitary. After a year of ascetical life, he returned to Pelusium, where he was ordained to the priesthood. After a few years he retired to a monastery where he spent the rest of his life, eventually becoming Abbot. From the monastery he wrote thousands of epistles full of divine grace and wisdom; of these more than two thousand still survive.   Saint Isidore was a student and devout disciple of St John Chrysostom, as he knew him through his writings. When St Cyril became Patriarch of Alexandria, he refused to commemorate St John in the diptychs during the Divine Liturgy. Saint Isidore wrote him a strong letter reminding him not to heed the rumors, prejudices or threats of men, and St Cyril was persuaded to restore commemoration of the Archbishop of Constantinople, and later became a strong advocate of the veneration of St John. Isidore, though a monk, was treated as a spiritual father by Patriarch Cyril: around 433, when St Cyril was inclined to deal harshly with some who had been swept up in the Nestorian heresy, St Isidore wrote to him: 'As your father, since you are pleased to give me this name, or rather as your son, I adjure you to put an end to this dissension lest a permanent breach be made under the pretext of piety.'   With reputation came persecution, and St Isidore suffered much from Imperial and church authorities unhappy with his holy influence. He bore all these troubles impassibly, and in 440 (according to one source) or about 449 (according to another) he joyfully gave up his soul to God.

A Recipe for Blood Orange Polenta Drizzle Cake A sunny cake for a gloomy time of year making use of the fleeting blood orange crop. Catch it while you can (though this will work with naval oranges - or indeed any citrus - the rest of the year). For the cake 175g caster sugar 4 large eggs 325g fine semolina 200g plain flour 225ml olive oil 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder Zest of 5 blood oranges and juice of 2 Drizzle, icing and topping Juice of 3 blood oranges 1 1/2 tablespoons orange flower water About 4 tablespoons icing sugar 50g pistachios, roughly chopped Preheat your oven to 200C/gas mark 6 and oil a 23cm cake tin and line with baking parchment. Beat the eggs and sugar together, then add the rest of the cake ingredients and mix until well combined. Pour into the cake tin, smooth down, and bake for between 30-40 minutes, or until it is well risen and golden brown and a cocktail stick inserted into the centre comes out clean. While it is baking prepare the syrup by mixing the juice of two of the oranges plus the flower water with 2 tablespoons icing sugar. When the cake comes out of the oven, leave it in its tin and prick it all over with the cocktail stick. Slowly pour over the syrup and leave to cool. Remove from the tin. Make a thin icing by sifting 2 tablespoons icing sugar into the juice of the final orange plus a little water if needed. Drizzle it over the cake then scatter over the pistachios, and serve.

Colin talks to Paul Clark, CEO of HSE Global Series, a global events series in North America, Middle East, United Kingdom, Europe & Africa, providing physical-based events that supply the world's leading content and senior leadership engagement. Paul discusses the ways in which we can empower ourselves on a daily basis, and by doing so, ensure that the world is a little bit better each day. KEY TAKEAWAYS Affirmations should form a part of our everyday practices. This can help with positive reinforcement, and can serve to improve our environments each day. Whatever we do, and whichever form it takes, the world needs more love. It is our job to make sure we perpetuate this loving input whenever possible. It is part of our nature to pass judgment on others, but this only ever leads to guilt and pain. We must acknowledge the need for acceptance, and allow others to exist without comment. Be consciously aware of everything and anything that takes place - good and bad. The good is an opportunity to be grateful, and negative experiences all contain lessons and opportunities for growth.  BEST MOMENTS 'it's about looking around at the family you have and people you have, and recognising the value there' 'We always feel better when we take control' 'As humans we are very judgmental of other people' 'You can always be aware of the experiences that you've had'  VALUABLE RESOURCES The Interesting Health & Safety Podcast - https://podcasts.apple.com/vn/podcast/the-interesting-health-safety-podcast/id1467771449      HSE Global Series - https://hseglobalseries.com Paul Clark LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/paulclarkbsw/?originalSubdomain=uk ABOUT THE HOST Colin Nottage ‘Making health and safety as important as everything else we do.' In this week's '15 Minutes To Action', Nick tells you all about the productivity apps that supercharge his working day and allow him to get even more done. By assembling your rack of tech tools, you can achieve far more in the year ahead! KEY TAKEAWAYS Taking too much time over choosing apps to dynamically improve your output, could well be a sign that you're simply procrastinating too much. Calendly is a marvellous way of organising your time, plus it integrates well with other apps, allowing you to create automatic workflows for scheduling and payments. Zoom has proved a miracle through the lockdown, allowing everyone to stay in touch, and also allowing businesses to operate with sometimes improved efficiency. Todoist is known as a digital action list. It allows tasks, actions and goals to be organised in terms of importance, plus integrates with calendars. BEST MOMENTS 'It doesn't matter when you start, so long as you get focussed' 'As a tool it's been incredible' 'It's a nice way to close the day, being grateful for everything that I have' VALUABLE RESOURCES Scale Up Your Business – scaleup.vip/podcast Join the free Scale Up Your Business community: scaleup.vip/community Take the Six Peaks of Value Creation Scorecard, to measure your current business performance and show you where to focus to get to where you want to be: https://scaleup.vip/sixpeaks      Calendly - https://calendly.com Zoom - https://zoom.us Todoist - https://todoist.com Calm - www.calm.com The Five Minute Journal - https://www.intelligentchange.com/products/the-five-minute-journal Blinkist - www.blinkist.com ABOUT THE HOST My name is Nick Bradley. As the Season Turns

'As the Season Turns' begins with January - an episode in which the nature writer Lia Leendertz takes us through the origins of the month’s name, as well as January’s moons, tides and folklore traditions. 'As the Season Turns' is created by Ffern - a natural fragrance maker based in Somerset. Working with the rhythms of the seasons, they blend, barrel-age and bottle four fragrances a year, released at the equinox and solstice. Each fragrance is made to order for the names on the Ffern production ledger. To join the ledger and find out more visit www.ffern.co

The episode is titled 'Storia Americana' which Dean's basic Google Translate efforts, seems to suggest that the literal translation is 'A History of America'. Which makes sense because ut brings us full circle back to Ethelrida's History report ... the one which informed the breathtaking 25 min opening scene from Episode 1. But this could easily have been titled 'As ye sow, so shall ye reap' as chickens come home to roost all over the shop. Check it out !
