Après trois EPs, un paquet de prix et des premières partie de folie (Josman, Youssoupha ou encore Kery James), Eesah Yasuke s'apprête à livrer son premier album : B.O d'une vie. Rencontre à Lille, dans le nord de la France, avec une « gosse de foyer » qui, de fractures de vie en résilience, a su transcender l'adversité et en a fait son motto rapologique. Franco-ivoirienne avec des racines cap-verdiennes et portugaises, Isaiah, de son vrai prénom, est née à Roubaix, dans le nord de la France.Bercée par les musiques africaines (rumba congolaise en tête), celle qui se rêvait sprinteuse professionnelle doit subitement arrêter l'athlétisme lorsqu'à 14 ans elle est placée en foyer. L'écriture et la poésie prennent alors le relais et deviennent son autre refuge.En 2018, alors qu'elle suit des études pour devenir éducatrice spécialisée, celle qui apprécie autant le rap ivoire (Didi B et Suspect95) que le rock (Muse, Rage Against the Machine) et a même eu sa période métal (System of a Down), décide de changer de cap et de passer de l'écriture à l'oralité.Trois ans plus tard, elle livre son premier EP Cadavre exquis (2021) et convoque autour d'elle des figures qui ont eux-mêmes transcendé leur condition.
