"Body Ministry" (1 Corinthians 12)_Speaker: Paul Berube
We have different spiritual gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. Our responsibility is to eagerly desire the gifts not according to what we think is right or best but according to how the Lord, the gift giver, determines what we should have and when we should have it. We exercise our gifts with love in a fitting and orderly manner to build up the Church. This sermon on Romans 12:3-8 (Part 3), was preached by Pastor Philip Thomas at New Life Fellowship Church, Concord, NC, on Sunday, February 27, 2022. A spiritual gift is a special attribute given by the Holy Spirit, to the members of the body of Christ, according to God's grace, to be used within the context of the body, for the benefit of those inside and outside the body. As Philippians 2:3-4 reminds us, we do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility we value others above ourselves, not looking to our own interests but each of us to the interests of the others. We must be other-centered rather than self-centered. It is only then that we can rightly minister the spiritual gifts that God gives us. This sermon on Romans 12:3-8 (Part 2), was preached by Pastor Philip Thomas at New Life Fellowship Church, Concord, NC, on Sunday, February 20, 2022. Romans 12:1-2 directs us to know the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:3-8 makes it clear that the will of God is discovered and lived out in community. We must understand the importance of the body of Christ and what it means to humbly care for the members of the body. We're wrapping up here on our our 3rd part of the Biblical Functions of a Digital Church. We've covered the easy stuff coming into this episode. What's left is the hard stuff. Justice. Compassion. Mission. Body Ministry. How do you do these things digitally? Global Mission? Local Mission? All of a sudden, there's a challenge to Digital-Only church. I'm not saying that it's impossible. I am saying that it's not easy. And there's the challenge. Even in context of what we, the Church, are doing in this COVID-19 season. A digital church does not recreate a physical church model. It reimagines the model. As you're listening to Part 3 here, or even Part 1 or Part 2... remember that a digital church is a reimagining of Church, but still grounded in scripture. So jump in with us, and help us reimagine what a Digital Only Church can be. DR. JERRY O. LEE, WILL PRESENT EXODUS ESCAPE 26 VIA THE ARM OF MOSES, AND THE BALANCE OF THE WHIRLWIND MINISTRIES AND THE JOB MYSTERY... IN A QUASAR MYSTERY KIND OF WAY, A KING SIZED REVEAL WILL RISE FROM THE SLEEP OF AGES AND SPEAK CLEARLY THE SOUND OF CERTAIN TRUTH. In the long of time, knowledge will possess the minds of untold millions. Energy dots will be manifested about universes past, and their history will become known. Lost books like "the Book of Wars" will be rewritten by the Spirit. A view of Moses on the mount of transfiguration will explain "The Arm of Moses Body Ministry" and its message to the world. In a kind of Enoch transits of the mind, a to and fro of scriptures will sparkle like diamond truths. EXODUS ESCAPE 26 has the number value of an equal of "8" which number value represents "the new day". So then, bless in advance for the coming of a new dawning that will smite every dark cloud and set free withholdened revelation. Allow a new dimension of breathing in and breathing out spiritual oxygen for the mind, that this living word may move excitetons in spins of quickenings. On a mountain over seeing a battle of Israel against forces opposite of the plan of God, Moses with his arm and hand help up the Holy Rod. As long as the Rod was help up Israel won one victory after another. But as Moses became too weary to hold up the Holy Rod the anti forces to Israrel began to win the battle. Then came Body Ministry of such persons as Joshua and Caleb who using their gifts of strength began to help Moses keep up his arm and hand that held the Holy Rod. The mortal body has limits. Even miracles are sometimes frustrated from happening due to extremely tired bodies. The brace of the laying on of Body to Body hands, and the brace of spirit to spirit energizing, is a twine that makes a rope nearly impossible to break. In the land of dukedom and castles long ago, near the Esau domain, wise men lived who sought the wisdom of God at the mount of Selah. Job of the land of UZ, and his comforters were a part of the sons of the east who met at Selah for Wisdom meetings. The discover of "Who are the mortals,? Where are they from? Why are they here?...were prime questions no doubt sought by these wise counselors. In many empty places, and vacant resorts there lay the beauty of Wisdom asleep. Who would find the holy kiss of recognition to awaken her? Her pillars of thoughts were powerful like strikes of lightening and thunder. Her words belonged to the beauty of holiness. For this cause angels of Seraphim and cherubim came in their flying chariots of fire... Then appeared the presence of Satan at a meeting of the sons of God challenging God about Job. Job would be subjected to the trial of the Ash Ministry. In the duality of covenants a restorations was put into prophecy. One day in the fullness of the gentiles the rainbow covenants will show its bend of bow touching from covenant to covenant. Sweep the cobwebs of gloom out the door, blow away the dust of criticism, prepare for the good because the sound of a mighty rushing wind is coming...

Being the first week of the School year, Pastor Mike discusses a very important topic of "ministry in the body". The message this week encourages everyone to get involved in their local church by realizing that work is "ministry" if done unto the Lord. There is much to be done in the body, and as people see the work as ministry, there is much reward. The older generation needs to reach out to the younger generations and be willing to invest into them, thus raising them up. Ministry in the Body of Christ becomes a joy not a burden...

God makes the whole body fit together perfectly. Each person doing their own unique part will help others grow and mature in the Lord. Pastor CJ begins casting the vision for launching Covenant Groups at NCF with some history about NCF's founding leadership and the foundation our body is built upon. "It's all about relationship" is not simply a phrase our church family has grown up hearing; it is a key principle that our culture of honor, expectation, and effective discipleship is built upon.
