The Miami Hurricanes survived on the road against Virginia in a 14-12 quadruple overtime game. Both teams struggled mightily to score, with the Canes struggling on offense behind backup quarterback Jake Garcia. Garcia started in place of an injured Tyler Van Dyke. Garcia hit just 1 of 6 passes thrown beyond 20 yards down field and didn't have much confidence in his own throws.
