Bo and Joe kick off 2026 by diving headfirst into a new era of Miami Dolphins leadership. With a new general manager in Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach in Jeff Hafley from Green Bay in place, the guys break down what this “fresh start” really means for the franchise — and whether it can finally change the Dolphins' long-standing narrative. In this episode, Bo & Joe discuss:•Why Sullivan and Hafley's alignment matters more than ever•What the “Green Bay way” could bring to Miami's draft-first philosophy•How toughness, discipline, and culture shift start at the line of scrimmage•The challenge of fixing Miami's salary cap and contract mess•The ongoing search for a true franchise quarterback•Why cold-weather toughness is still a hurdle the Dolphins must clearThe conversation also veers into college football, as the guys break down Miami vs. Indiana, Mario Cristobal's recruiting momentum, and how culture and discipline translate from Saturdays to Sundays. It's big-picture Dolphins talk, honest reactions, and a look at what 2026 might hold for the team and the show.Out to Pasture is Presented by Ed Morse Sawgrass Automallhttps://edmorsesawgrass.com/Out to Pasture is supported by Villa Italia Bakery. Brian Baldinger said on his podcast that the Steelers are very interested in Mario Cristobal. Andy Weidl and Baldinger are thought to be close and we wonder about the Steelers' interest in the Miami head coach. The Steelers top candidates aren't being hired by other teams.
Ray would trade Jalen Ramsey and cut Patrick Queen. Ray doesn't think the Steelers can pay Ramsey $17 million to be a safety. The money they save on Mike Tomlin's big salary could go be spent to hire additional coaches. Ray hasn't heard anything about Mario Cristobal and has been quiet. Anthony Weaver is "a serious candidate" for the Steelers.

Steve Palazzolo from the 33rd Team joined the show. Steve laughed at Mario Cristobal being a name thrown around for the Steelers job – suggesting Curt Cignetti as the only college coach in this cycle he would expect to get looks. Steve talked about a few teams that don't send personnel to events like the Senior Bowl and NFL Combine. Steve doesn't understand how Mike McCarthy would make sense with this job. Steve thinks it could be too early for someone like Nate Scheelhaase as a head coach and he wants to see him work as an offensive coordinator first. Steve pointed out some key differences in Fernando Mendoza and Will Howard, the latter called an ‘OK' prospect by Steve. Steve got into the arm talent and strength traits that don't often slip through the cracks if there isn't much more to their game, like Anthony Richardson in comparison to Josh Allen. Should the Steelers call Sean McDermott? Steve said Yes.
The guys reacted to speculation that Mario Cristobal could be worked into the mix of Steelers coaching candidates. There's also a report out there from ESPN that some coaches are worried about the Steelers job because Art Rooney II is ‘cheap' and the organization needs to bump up salaries and size of staff. We will find out something when the new coach is hired – if it was a Rooney money thing or a Mike Tomlin thing when it came to staff size. Imagine if someone like Chris Shula said ‘no' to the role because he knew his staff would have limitations. Shouldn't the Steelers have savings from not having to pay Tomlin anymore? It was a tough loss. The Miami Hurricanes lost to the Indiana Hoosiers 27-21 in the National Championship game at Hard Rock Stadium. Cam and The Beast go through the game. They bring up all of the missed opportunities for Miami and break down the good, the bad, and the ugly. One thing is for sure: the University of Miami Hurricanes' football program is in a much better place than it was before Mario Cristobal came back to the Gables. Indiana completes one of the best stories ever in sports and wins the National Championship in Miami last night. It was hard not to root for the Hoosiers who went from the worst team in college football to the best in just 2 years under Curt Cignetti. Mendoza didn't have one his typical games and Miami gave Indiana everything they had, but it still wasn't enough as the Hoosier grabbed their first ever National Championship. :30- MIKE GASTINEAU joins the show live from Miami after last night's National Championship. We get to hear what this amazing ride has been like for die-hard Indiana fans. :45- Zach Charbonnet is now out for the season after a torn ACL, so at this point it's all Walker. The season was spent splitting carries between the two and protecting Walker's lingering foot issue, but now it's time to go. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
RICK NEUHEISEL (CBS Sports) The College Football season came to an end with last night's National Championship, so how did Curt Cignetti and the Indiana Hoosiers pull off such an improbably 2-year run to a National title? Miami made a strong run at the title and held their own against heavily favored Indiana, they're program seems to be in a good place moving forward. :30- The Ol Judge is here! - Indiana's 2-year rise to the top will be the greatest story ever in CFB. - With 6 picks in two games, Sam Darnold has an interception problem against the Rams. - CJ Stroud will still be on the Houston Texans roster next year. - The return of the Most Interesting Man in the World has already won the Super Bowl ads… :45- We close out the Tuesday show with one last thing!
