And So, She Left: Wisdom from Women Beyond the Corporate World

In this special episode, we're doing something different. Instead of featuring a guest, we're focusing on a theme that keeps coming up in our episodes: family. It seems like everyone we talk to mentions their family. Family experiences undoubtedly shape the entrepreneurial journey. Our family leaves lasting marks on us as we grow up. They can influence us in ways we don't always see right away. Often, it's only when we look back that we understand how much they mattered. In this episode, we're doing just that: looking back. You might have heard some of the stories we're about to share before. We encourage you to listen to them again, and think about your own family while you do.This Sunday, we're also releasing a discussion episode where you'll hear what we think about these stories. We hope you enjoy.  Why Are We Shouting? with Jill Salzman  tackles the answers to every mom entrepreneur's questions about running a company. Jill's always delivers plenty of humor and personality, and each episode is an incredibly engaging experience. If you enjoy And So, She Left, we highly encourage you to rate, review, and subscribe to Jill's podcast wherever you listen, or visit JillSalzman.Substack.com.  We would love to hear your feedback! All the village come to see the work. The monk would just come close to the body of the ill villager and whisper loving words, kindness, and softness. One of the observers decided to express his skepticism with force. The monk turned towards him/her and in a strong angry voice told the observer that he/she didn't know anything about this ancient art and that he/she had nothing but negativity to share. Immediately the observer became filled with rage and frustration, his/her skin turning red, the pulsation increasing rapidly over his/her entire body, and as he/she was to interject, the monk, smiled and softening his voice said: 'As you just experienced it, the words are powerful. So powerful indeed that they can change your body, emotional and mental state and create illness. Let's all try now to send nourishing words positive thoughts and prayers to our ill friend.''
