Daddy Issues starts now. This week, Violet Benson officially launches her podcast under the name that built her brand. This is our first episode recorded live in Sweden, here at Fotografiska Stockholm. And I couldn't imagine a better guest to open this chapter. In this episode, I get to interview the brilliant Keika Lee, Director of Global Public Affairs at IKEA.Keika grew up in Sweden with Korean heritage, in a family where discipline and hard work were part of everyday life. She was on her way to becoming a classical pianist, with auditions at Juilliard and the Conservatoire in Paris, and then she made a decision that surprised many: she walked away. What followed wasn't a straight career path, but years of trial and error. Keika tried many different roles: from bartending and working airport security to studying political science, building a fashion brand with her sister and working in consultancy. From the outside, It might look scattered, but it became one of her biggest strengths: learning how people behave and how to read the room. This episode might make you pause and ask yourself whether what you're building is actually aligned with who you are, and remind you that nothing you try is ever wasted.Read more about the Women Authors of Achievement (WAA) Podcast via waa.berlin/aboutFollow us on Instagram & find us on LinkedInSubscribe to our newsletter via waa.berlin/newsletter ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
Gedichte. Beobachtungen. Geschichten aus dem Viertel. (superfly.fm)

Kate challenges the belief that palatability is the price of women's power and introduces "The Forge of Authority"—a transformative framework designed to help women move from seeking a permitted presence to embodying unbreakable leadership.Tune in to learn:Why palatability isn't the price of power, but a ransom of silence we pay to stay safe in systems that ask us to shrink. The four stages of the Forge: Smelting for raw authenticity, shattering molds of compliance, stealing your resolve, and striking for impactful disruption. The Heidi vs. Howard case study and how to navigate the very real likability penalty and double bind faced by successful women. How to identify and stop Intentional Invisibility—the survival mechanism that acts as a silent career killer and erodes your authority.Practical steps to stop editing your voice, apologize less, and start generating your own momentum without waiting for permission. It's time to stop being the water that dampens the room and start being the fire that forges the leader you were always meant to be!---Enter the Book Launch Celebration Giveaway!
Tonight I present: zero patience for performative nonsense. First, giving rapid-style Hot Take Taylors on: Sydney's SYRN vs Kim's SKIMS, ICE, Nicki Trump, the weird Erik Kirk fetish, and feminism gone retarded. Then I'm joined by the iconic Thom Brodeur, the CEO and President of MISS USA, for a refreshingly sane conversation about rejecting labels, refusing to tokenize people, and feminism for people whose brains aren't fried. It's about time we really talk about beauty tech, what it already looks like in parts of Asia, and what it could become in our homes in the next few years, in ways we probably can't even imagine yet. That's exactly what I explore in this episode with Wanfen Xia, CMO and Managing Director at Ulike Europe.Wanfen brings a clear and grounded perspective on where the beauty-tech sector is heading. We talk about how advanced Asian markets already are, what Europe can learn from them, and how new self-care routines might soon become a natural part of everyday life at home. What I especially appreciated in this conversation is Wanfen's gentle, thoughtful approach, shaped by literature, aesthetics, and a deep understanding to what beauty can mean beyond performance or perfection. It's a reminder that some things are meant to be felt intuitively. If you enjoy this conversation, don't forget to rate and review us on your favorite podcast platform.Read more about the Women Authors of Achievement (WAA) Podcast via waa.berlin/aboutFollow us on Instagram & find us on LinkedInSubscribe to our newsletter via waa.berlin/newsletter ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★

There's a moment when the fear of what's coming feels heavier than anything we've faced. I've been there—frozen, anxious, sure the unknown was out to get me. In 2023, my husband and I faced something that shook us, and it made me confront a fear so many of us carry: the fear of the unknown. It's not the unknown that scares us—it's the stories we've superimposed from our past. The heartbreak, the trauma, the disappointments—we carry them into the way we imagine the future, and suddenly, the what-ifs feel paralyzing.Freedom comes when we release the past from the future. We soften, stop protecting ourselves from what hasn't happened, and trust that we're okay. I share stories from my life and the women I coach—about heartbreak, loss, and the what-ifs—to show how letting go opens the door to peace. We've survived hard things before. We can survive what comes next, too.–Connect with Deanna Herrin:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/deannaherrin/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/deanna-herrin/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thedeannaherrinWebsite: http://www.deannaherrin.net

There was something about this conversation with Dasha Dare that cracked me open in the best way. The way she weaves photography, self-perception, and consciousness together feels like a permission slip for every woman who's been trying to keep herself “put together” while quietly longing to feel seen in a truer way. Our stories crossed paths on LinkedIn, but what she shared with me goes far deeper than a professional connection — it's a whole new lens on how we relate to ourselves.Dasha walked me through how our self-image is actually shaped long before we ever stand in front of a mirror, and how the photos we avoid looking at often hold the exact wisdom we're craving. Her view of selfies as spiritual practice stunned me — not vanity, not performance, but a doorway into the parts of ourselves we've been taught to hide. One line I'm still sitting with: “You are never the image — you are what's beyond it.” It's the kind of shift that makes you rethink why your marriage, your body, your career, and your identity feel the way they do… and what might soften when you stop trying to manage the image and start meeting the woman beneath it.–Connect with Dasha Dare:Instagram: @dashadare LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dasha-dare/Website: www.dashadare.com and www.time2dare.com–Connect with Deanna Herrin:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/deannaherrin/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/deanna-herrin/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thedeannaherrinWebsite: http://www.deannaherrin.net

Welcome to our Monthly Zodiac Bonus Episode, dropping the third week of every month! This November, we're giving you the ultimate guide to making a Sagittarius man obsessed with YOU.Get ready to discover:
You don't want flowers. You want reassurance. If he can post a story, he can send a sentence that says “I care about you.”This episode is for every woman who feels crazy for needing words - because guess what? You're not clingy. You're not insecure. You're under-affirmed.We're unpacking why hearing “I love you,” “I'm proud of you,” or “I'm here” hits like emotional oxygen… and why silence feels like abandonment. If his silence makes you overthink,if you keep replaying one compliment for three weeks,if you've ever begged a man to just communicate —you're in the right place.Hit play and stop settling for men who “feel it” but can't say it.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
The evil eye lives in your group chat. Did I stutter? Ever notice the SECOND you share good news - your life collapses faster than a Nature Valley bar? Same. One minute I'm being loved correctly, soft life era unlocked… Next minute? What do you do when your hot‑girl era turns into a medical horror story? I broke my foot on a date, got a UTI, and spent the day being gaslit by the ER - who sent me home TWICE with a literal displaced fracture… but not before charging me for wasting my time. I can't walk for two months, might need surgery, and now I'm side‑eyeing my friends because my scorpio senses are tingling that one of them definitely gave me the evil eye. It's giving delusion, humiliation, and the American healthcare system at its finest.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
