Franchise marketing is more than running ads or managing brand awareness. It's a strategic process that connects entrepreneurs, brands, and customers through trust, storytelling, and value-driven engagement. The best franchise marketing strategies help businesses expand their reach while maintaining the integrity of the brand at every level — from national awareness to local community relationships. Few people understand that dynamic better than Ali Kraus, Chief Marketing Officer at Benetrends Financial. With deep expertise in franchise development marketing, digital strategy, and brand building, Ali has become one of the most respected voices in the franchising industry. Her leadership reflects how marketing can not only grow businesses but also empower people and strengthen communities. Benetrends Financial has been at the center of franchise success stories for decades. As a leader in franchise funding, Benetrends helps entrepreneurs start and expand their businesses through innovative financial solutions, including their signature Rainmaker Plan and SBA lending support. The company's commitment to entrepreneurship goes beyond numbers — it's about helping people achieve independence, stability, and long-term growth. Ali's marketing approach aligns with that mission. By integrating creative strategy with practical execution, she helps franchisors and franchisees navigate challenges in visibility, recruitment, and retention. Her belief in collaboration and community has made her a strong advocate for empowering women in franchising, both through her work at Benetrends and her leadership with the International Franchise Association's Women's Franchise Committee. As an incoming Chair of the committee, Ali is helping pave the way for more women to find opportunities in leadership, ownership, and influence within the franchise industry. Her work demonstrates how franchise marketing can be a vehicle for change — not only driving business results but also creating a more inclusive and diverse community of entrepreneurs. In an era where consumers demand authenticity and connection, Ali's perspective on franchise marketing reminds business owners that success isn't just about selling a product. It's about building relationships, aligning brand purpose with customer values, and giving people a reason to believe in the businesses they support. For franchise brands and entrepreneurs alike, her message is clear: effective marketing starts with clarity, consistency, and connection. When combined with the right funding foundation and strategic leadership, those elements create a roadmap for sustainable growth. Franchise marketing continues to evolve, and leaders like Ali Kraus are shaping what comes next — a future defined by innovation, inclusion, and purpose-driven progress. Ranní brífink Štěpána Svobody: Saúdský korunní princ Mohammed bin Salmán přijel do Washingtonu upevnit jeden z nejdůležitějších vztahů na Blízkém východě.

The House vote to release the Epstein files passes, now headed for the Senate. Some early bad news for Democrats, Hakeem Jeffries' campaign actually asked Epstein for money after they knew he was a convicted sex offender. Even worse, Democrat Stacey Plaskett was texting and seeking advice from Epstein as late as 2019 in regards to former Trump attorney Michael Cohen. Jessica Reed Kraus, the brilliant mind behind mega successful substack House In Habit has thoroughly documented the Epstein case. Kraus was present during the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell and came to a very different conclusion than the mainstream media narrative. The Epstein timeline is messy and the facts surrounding the case are even messier. One truth the media refuses to tell is how some of the Epstein 'victims' were actually the ones grooming young women. The Epstein Victims Fund has also been allegedly taken advantage of in the way funds are allocated. One thing that is conclusive is that Alan Dershowitz was innocent and had the receipts to prove it. You don't want to miss this fascinating conversation on Epstein that the media simply won't tell you. Jessica has been team Bobby Kennedy from day one and is here to update us on MAHA. Taking a strengths-based approach to developmental disability: the F-words for child developmentBMJ Paediatrics Open - Dr Olaf Kraus de Camargo“When challenges exist, children and families may benefit from supports that are tailored to their individual strengths and support needs, irrespective of whether or not a child has one or more diagnosed condition(s).”Strengths-based and client-centred approaches in the field of childhood disability have been proposed in healthcare for decades, but in many places in the world, our service structures and therapeutic endeavours still are directed at fixing/compensating deficits in a prescriptive way. In the field of child developmental (disability) services, we have recently seen the publication of Canadian and Australian policies and frameworks that explicitly endorse this strengths-based approach, recommending in particular the use of the F-words for Child Development first published by CanChild scientists Peter Rosenbaum and Jan Willem Gorter in 2012.This commentary reflects on how strength-based approaches and client-centred care, developed over the last 50 years, have culminated in a paradigm shift in how we define and promote ‘health'.https://bmjpaedsopen.bmj.com/content/9/1/e003418

Hier weiterlesen: www.runtasia.at

It's Halloween on Yellow Street and outcast Robbie Glinton has a plan for revenge. Let down by teachers, abandoned by parents and ignored by "the man", he and his troop of juvenile delinquents (Jody, Dags and Midge) are out for a little payback.Daniel Kraus' Blood Sugar, an exclusive Hard Case Crime publication from 2019, presents a complex story of trauma covered in seasonal guise and a veneer of adolescent reflection. Left to navigate their social and familial woes as best they can, Robbie's team of misfits prepare for the ultimate trick-or-treat with poisoned candy and weaponised sweets. Kraus gives readers a lot to chew over in this engaging story, told to us through the unique voice and teenage eyes of Jody. Fast Facts@7:45; Summary@22:00; PIPES@42:00

Chris Kraus joins Kate Wolf to talk about her new novel, The Four Spent the Day Together. Organized into three linked sections, the book begins with a portrait of Kraus's avatar, Catt Greene, and her family, as they struggle to overcome the isolation of the suburbs after moving into their first home in Milford, Connecticut, in the late 1950s. The book's second part takes place many decades later: Catt is now a well-known novelist grappling with sudden fame and her failing marriage to an alcoholic ex-con named Paul Garcia with whom she lives part time in the woods of Minnesota. The final section finds Catt investigating a crime that has taken place near her home with Paul, in the neighboring town of Harding, when three teenagers senselessly murder a man after spending a full 24-hours together. What binds the stories together is alienation, chance, the acceleration of history and the spoils of late capitalism, the devastation of addiction, and an attempt to reconcile something even darker and more ineffable about the American project as it exists today.

Murder for Social Security Or Humane Help? The Shocking Lorenz Kraus LIVE TV Confession! Follow the money — and sometimes you find a killer. In this Hidden Killers Live segment, we explore how what began as a Social Security fraud probe spiraled into a double homicide investigation when investigators uncovered the bodies of Franz and Theresia Kraus in their backyard. For years, their son, Lorenz Kraus, told neighbors they had moved to Germany. Meanwhile, he continued collecting their government benefits — until a welfare check by SSA triggered a police search at 6 Crestwood Court. Watch As Double Murder EXPOSED In LIVE News Interview: Shocking TV Confession! In one of the most surreal crime stories in recent memory, Lorenz Kraus walked into a CBS6 newsroom and confessed on camera to killing his elderly parents, hiding their bodies in the backyard, and living off their Social Security checks for seven years. Now, on Hidden Killers Live, we watch that full CBS6 interview and break it down — line by line, word by word. Was it a genuine confession? A performance? A delusion? Or all of the above? Police were originally investigating financial crimes tied to the Kraus family at 6 Crestwood Court in Albany, NY, after a red flag from the Social Security Administration. But when a search warrant was executed, investigators unearthed not bank records — but two corpses in the backyard. This segment includes: The moment Kraus confesses to second-degree murder How this case exploded from welfare fraud to Albany double homicide Questions about mental health, delusional beliefs, and a potential god complex What happens when a confession is made to journalists, not police This is the full breakdown of a case that's part true crime, part psychological thriller, and part bureaucratic failure. Watch with us.
Yogurt Shop Murders: DNA Bombshell & TV Confession in Kraus Backyard Murder Two devastating crimes. One episode. And a justice system that failed in both. Tonight on Hidden Killers Live, we dive into two of the most emotionally and legally disturbing cases we've ever covered. First—the Yogurt Shop Murders. Four girls brutally killed in 1991. And for years, police pursued the wrong men. Two were convicted. One died under the shadow of suspicion. All were innocent. Now, thanks to genetic genealogy and forensic DNA, the real killer—Robert Eugene Brashers—has been identified. But there's no trial coming. Brashers died by suicide in 1999. So what happens when the truth arrives three decades late? We unpack: How fire-damaged evidence was finally reanalyzed Why police ignored signs pointing away from Springsteen, Scott, and Pierce The role of coerced confessions, tunnel vision, and flawed interrogation strategy What this case teaches us about criminal psychology and investigative failure Then, we pivot to an equally bizarre and tragic case: Lorenz Kraus, who walked into a CBS6 newsroom and calmly confessed on camera to killing both his parents and burying them in the backyard… seven years ago. In Hour 2, we break down the video, explore the potential god complex behind his confession, and ask what happens when someone bypasses the justice system entirely—and tells their story to the press instead. This isn't just a double feature. It's a breakdown of how cases go wrong, how lives are ruined by bad policing, and how—sometimes—truth shows up late, if at all. Subscribe and watch to the end. Because justice delayed is one thing. But justice denied is something else entirely.
Mercy Killing or Murder? Was Lorenz Kraus Delusional or Justifying Evil? Lorenz Kraus said he did it out of mercy. But the facts — and his own words — suggest something much darker. In this segment of Hidden Killers Live, we dig into the psychology behind Kraus's televised confession to killing both his parents and burying them behind their Albany home. He claims it was a "necessary act." Prosecutors say it was second-degree murder. We dissect the possibility that Kraus is operating under a god complex — one where his need for control and righteousness overtook reality. His phrasing, posture, and tone in the CBS6 confession video offer clues, but they also raise disturbing questions: Did he kill his parents with their consent — or was that invented after the fact? Is he mentally ill, or simply manipulative and calculating? What role did financial dependence and isolation play? And where does the line fall between assisted suicide and homicide with motive? This isn't just about murder — it's about how people twist morality into justification. We analyze it all, in real time.

Escuchar audio

In this intense continuation of the Game of Crimes interview, host Steve Murphy dives deeper into the unbelievable true story of Ken Kraus who reveals the brutal methods of interrogation, the physical and emotional torture, and the haunting moments that tested the very limits of human endurance. Facing sadistic captors, unimaginable pain, and psychological torment, Ken never broke—refusing to betray his fellow Marines or his country. His story is one of unshakable resilience, brotherhood, and the will to survive.
In this gripping episode, Murph talks with Ken Kraus, a former Marine and combat veteran, who survived one of the most harrowing international incidents in U.S. history. On February 14, 1979, Ken and his fellow Marines stood their ground as a violent mob stormed the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, initiating a life-or-death standoff that tested their training, brotherhood, and will to survive. Ken recounts the chaos, courage, and split-second decisions made under extreme pressure. From the moment the attack began to the brutal aftermath, this is a firsthand account of military heroism, sacrifice, and survival behind enemy lines. The episode also touches on mental health, the emotional toll of combat, and how veterans like Ken process trauma years after their service.
