These days, there is always a lot going on in and around the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. This article will show you How to Prepare for Your Walt Disney World Vacation. Living in the age of technology, there are a number of things that you can do to ensure you are properly prepared for your vacation. Here, we are going to suggest a few things for you, so that you are sure to have a fun and productive vacation. When I was a kid, one of the first things I’d see my mom do when we were preparing to leave for a vacation is beginning to map out the drive. In those days, there was no consumer level GPS for cars, so we actually had to know how to read a map.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom dives deep into African and Asian heritage and folklore. Such attractions as Kilimanjaro Safariand Expedition Everest are park favorites for many guests. These attractions provide an experience unlike any other. Not only in Walt Disney World, but also in other competing theme parks in the Orlando area. I’ve also had the opportunity to be in Animal Kingdom during the holidays. This is a wonderful treat. To see the park decorated in it’s Christmas decor provides an added ‘wow’ to what’s already spectacular.
How to navigate the Disneyland crowds from dawn to dusk!
What are some of the things that you want to do when at the parks? How is the weather going to be during your visit? What preparations do you need to take and how do you recover if you forgot something important at home? For me and my family, I’m the logistician. Fortunately for all of us, my profession is actually one of logistics and planning, so this comes naturally to me. However, even the best-laid plans can be side-tracked and the best planner can forget something. I think this information can really help park goers as they begin their planning and also perhaps promote thought among those who are seasoned veterans as well.
A quick update on Galaxy's Edge - Opening May 31st. What to expect when the doors finally swing open to the public. Take a peek at the first full size, complete Falcon. Look at the land and see what everyone's excited about.
Main Street USA, particularly at Walt Disney World in Orlando, is now the prime location for parades, photos of Cinderella Castle, as well as Castle stage shows and projection shows. If you take the time, then you will find that there’s so much more to Main Street USA. There’s shopping, dining, character greetings and more. I love the people of Main Street USA, including the Mayor and Townspeople. It gives you the feeling of actually being in that time period. They are always eager to interact with you.
Today, I’m going to do you another kindness. I’m listing for you, my Top Three (3) Attractions in Epcot. In addition to that, I’ll also give you my strategy for getting on these attractions. Ie., use fast pass, arrive early, or use general attraction waiting. Before we get started, let me just provide you with an Epcot overview. Epcot stands for the Experimental Prototype City of Tomorrow. Well, that’s what Walt called it when he first introduced it to the public. He quickly corrected himself to what we all know Epcot as today, the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. Epcot is made up of what originally could have been two separate theme parks, as described by Disney legend, the late Marty Sklar (long time Disney Executive and Creative). The two (2) parts of Epcot are Future World and World Showcase. Future World houses such well-known attractions as Test Track, Soarin and Living with The Land. World Showcase is made of 11 countries, including delicious restaurants, shopping, and scenic views.

I’ve been going to Walt Disney World Theme Parks in Orlando Florida since I was a child. So much has changed over the years. Disney World Theme Park vacations can be planned online now. Attractions are always being added and or updated. Park hours vary based on time of year and depending on if you stay on property or not. Disney World resorts are being updated and improved constantly. After hour events are popping up throughout the year as well. With so many variables, many people wonder how and where to start their planning. For some, lots of information is too much information. Leaving some guest confused and frustrated about how to book their Disney World vacation. No worries. Here I’ll provide you with a detailed outline of how I plan my family’s trips to Walt Disney World Theme Parks. From booking park tickets to hotels, we will cover each area in detail. After reviewing this article, you will feel confident, as we demonstrate how to book your Disney World vacation all by yourself.
Disney Springs (which was known as Downtown Disney up until September of 2015) is a shopping and entertainment area that's free for anybody to enter and while the recent Disney Springs construction was lengthy, the end result was well worth it.
