It's Earth Day this week at Disney's Animal Kingdom. While that may not make any more sense than year long anniversaries at Disney that run 18 months, the good news is that there is time to check out all things conservation if you're near Walt Disney World. If not, then this video and/or podcast is perfect for you, as we explore a number of things associated with the messages of Earth Day to include a newly updated book for Disney, efforts to bring a love of nature to children's hospitals, baby mandrills, new 360 photos, sand sculptures and of course cupcakes. Every celebration at Disney's Animal Kingdom has cupcakes, and this one has three! You can't have a celebration at Disney's Animal Kingdom without cupcakes. Plus we check out and do a review of two trips made to Nomad Lounge. Lots to talk about this week, from Pandora to the new Festival of the Lion King as it returns next month. Join us!

Finally! We are long overdue for an update at Disney's Animal Kingdom and this one is packed with lots to talk about! NOTE however, that this was shot a couple of weeks ago and while references to the new Disney MagicMobile Pass, the release of Raya and the Last Dragon and to food items like St. Patrick's Day Food may seem dated, the context, stories and insights given are relevant. There is so much to this podcast from visiting the new goat farm on Kilimanjaro Safaris to end of day queuing at the end of the day at Pandora, to night time additions to the Tree of Life. So check this out as we have so much to catch up on! You can also see the video here.

Kilimanjaro Safaris opened at Walt Disney World on Earth Day 1998 (after a soft opening that spring). As the signature attraction at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Kilimanjaro Safaris is Walt Disney's dream come to life. As a lover of animals and nature, Walt originally intended for Disneyland's Jungle Cruise to feature live animals, but it just wasn't possible at the time. Kilimanjaro Safaris might have been Walt's favorite attraction. With about three dozen unique species of African animals who are free to roam within a handful of ecosystems, authentic safari trucks that have been converted into eco-friendly vehicles, a rich storyline that continues into Harambe Village, live Cast Member narratives, conservation messages, cultural motifs, and a land size greater than Magic Kingdom Park, Kilimanjaro Safaris might just be the most impressive attraction at any Disney Park. As a former Cast Member on this attraction, I know Kilimanjaro Safaris better than any other and am incredibly excited to share this knowledge with you. In today's episode, we'll explore the history of this attraction, including its rich backstory (along with Harambe Village's backstory), history, detail, safety considerations, and fun facts. We'll also discuss its ties to Walt Disney, and I'll take you with me for a binaural audio ride-through of the attraction (recorded in 2019). What do you love most about Kilimanjaro Safaris? Send me your feedback via email or through direct or public message at any of the following and [with your permission] I'll include your message in a future show: Facebook: www.facebook.com/ImagineerPodcast Instagram: www.instagram.com/ImagineerPodcast Twitter: www.twitter.com/ImagineerNews Facebook Group (ImagiNation): https://www.facebook.com/groups/imagineerpodcast/ Email: matt@imagineerpodcast.com Thanks to Share a Dream Come True YouTube channel for letting us borrow the audio from their Kilimanjaro Safaris video (be sure to watch the full video to see the original storyline). We are long overdue for an update at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and despite a little rain, it was a great time to be in the park. We check out what's happening in Pandora, and then passing through Africa, we talk of the good news and bad news of Festival of the Lion King returning this summer. What does it mean for all Walt Disney World shows? From there we try out what may be the best counter service cheeseburger in the Walt Disney World parks (Hint: It isn't a restaurant ran by Disney) and then we head through Dinoland to discuss changes going on there. Did you know that Disneyland originally had real alligators? We'll talk about all that, as well as my observations as Disney handled a difficult guest who wasn't willing to keep his facial covering on. All this and so much more in this update at Disney's Animal Kingdom for February 6th, 2021!
In this week’s episode, Sara and Scott talk some tea on Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Check out our take, tips, and many stories on our favorite Disney World park. Are these rides actually designed for kids? They are unsure as both were crying from one ride experience on Expedition Everest—Legend of the Forbidden Mountain. Best food places? They have you covered. Listen to their top picks for a must-stop during your next adventure in this exotic park.

As we experience difficult and heavy news and current events, I think the timing of this podcast is really needed. Jacob and Jonah bring our fourth Kingdom for Kids podcast focusing on Disney's Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World. These boys have done a wonderful job of articulating their love of this park, and their coverage is both fun and insightful. This podcast is a spoonful of sugar for swallowing the medicine of these hard times. Take a break and enjoy this podcast! It's a podcast by kids for kids, but if you're a kid at heart, you'll love this park review.
It's a break from the Misfit norm, as ila and CJ take the reigns this week and you should check out this episode to see if things stay on the rails or not?! TONS of new features, including a ONCE in a lifetime outro this week. Mackee, we all look forward to your return for sure! Aside from that, it's business as usual while our hosts tackle Keep, Crush, Re-Imagine in CJ and ila's favorite park, Disney's Animal Kingdom. Tough choices are made including one of CJ's favorite attractions, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and one of ila's favorite snacks, Buffalo Chicken Chips being put on the chopping block. Flight of Passage gets some changes? Camp Minnie Mickey returns? DO NOT miss this episode to see why!! The midbreak becomes a mini-show in itself while 2/3 of the MIsfits dissect Pixar's Soul in Stream It or Skip It. There are some really passionate feelings regarding this movie. No spoilers are given, but if you're on the fence, listen now to see if they sway you one way or the other! ila also covers the Disney Christmas Special and what exciting Disney Cruise Line news she has for one of the newest ships coming to the fleet. What bronze statue is coming to the Disney Wish!? There is a lot of Disney news in Hot Topics this week, including the return of Park Hopping to Walt Disney World. The hosts talk some of the current ins and outs of the program but remind you to keep an eye out for the recent changes on the app. With certain changes on the horizon, don't miss this important news to get the basics. For the Park Hopper hotline, call (407- 560-5000) They also discuss the touching video Marvel recently released about Stan Lee on the late actor's birthday. We canvas the entire park, checking out the crowds, what's open and closed, and what the total experience is like. Plus we highlight eight wonderful little nooks to sit back and enjoy the park by. And did we mention Flame Tree Barbecue, and perhaps the greatest cupcake ever created at Walt Disney World? All this and more awaits you in our park update.
