We've known for some time now that the first years of a child's life constitute a very important period for the development of that child's brain. Because the brain is responsible for cognition, language, movement, emotion, self-regulation, and essentially every aspect of human behavior, it stands to reason that optimizing those first few years can have a significant impact on the rest of that child's life. In this episode, Kennedy Krieger CEO and President Brad Schlaggar will be joined by colleagues Marcella Franczkowski, Assistant VP, and Executive Director of PACT, Sharon Holloway-Gentemann, the Director of PACT World of Care, Dr. Jackie Stone, Chief Clinical Officer as well as Sarah Monaghan, a parent of a graduate of PACT. The discussion focuses on how early childhood programs help optimize developmental outcomes, and will also look at some of the challenges faced by these programs and why such programs are so worthy of enhanced societal investment. Cat Survives 8-Days Being Shipped In Box By Owner Cupcake is an incredibly lucky cat. The Siamese survived being stuck inside a small cardboard box for eight days and 260 miles after her owner accidentally mailed her. The owner didn't see Cupcake snoozing inside the package as she packed it with DVDs. Then she dropped the box in the mail. The package's recipients were stunned to open the box and find the cute cat curled up alongside the movies they'd bought. Cupcake was reunited with her tearful owner (who felt horrible) over the weekend. She says, "I knew Cupcake was missing, but not for one second did I think she was in that box." Since Covid-19 became part of our everyday lives, the polarisation of scientists, doctors, families and countless formerly united fraternities has become a staple of ‘the new normal'. Frontline doctors who have served their communities and delivered appropriate medical treatment, always following the all-important principle “first, do no harm” have been sidelined as rogue, even dangerous loose cannons – simply for doing their jobs. Dr Jackie Stone, a veteran primary care physician in Zimbabwe with a profound success rate treating Covid-19, has been put through the wringer for simply doing her job excellently. BizNews spoke to Dr Stone about her stellar track record relating to the early, solution-based treatment of Covid-19 and the consequences she has had to face as a result of diverting from the globally recommended treatment protocol. Dr Stone's story is nothing short of inspiring, but also shocking. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

We begin today's show with a discussion about Biden's Fourth Reich speech. My conservative colleagues are missing the point. This is not just about Biden, but a larger deep state that will not be fixed through conventional means. Case in point is the medical deep state. To that end, we are joined by Dr. Jackie Stone, a family doctor in Zimbabwe, who was one of the most innovative COVID doctors in the world. Her reward for saving thousands was a series of criminal charges. She explains what is wrong with medicine, who is behind the problem, and why doctors no longer think like human beings. We need policy answers to these problems. Simply voting Republican in November and removing Joe Biden years from now will not cut it.
