For people like Misty, technology isn't a luxury—it shapes how they think, what they trust, and what kind of future they believe they're living in. That confidence begins to crack when a personal encounter exposes something deeper. The machines that hold this community together depend on materials depending on supply chains that no longer exist. The advanced medicine, the sensors, the processors, the automation—everything that made this society feel post-scarcity suddenly looks fragile. No invading army is coming. No single disaster is exploding at the gates. Instead, the threat is slower and more unnerving: decline.TechLutin Two: A domestic helper robot that quietly handles routine household tasks like watering plants.AR OS: An augmented-reality operating system navigated by blinking and eye movements that overlays information directly into the user's vision.Noise filtering: A hearing-control system that can selectively suppress environmental Eddy Chiang is Co-founder and CEO of Moment Energy, a company building commercial-scale energy storage systems from repurposed electric vehicle batteries. By testing, certifying, and remanufacturing second-life battery modules, Moment Energy is creating lower-cost alternatives to new lithium-ion storage while extending battery lifespans by decades. In this episode of Inevitable, Chiang explains how a growing wave of retired EV batteries is reshaping the energy storage market—making recycling alone economically unviable. The conversation covers the technical and regulatory challenges of certifying second-life systems, how Moment Energy became the first company to achieve full UL certification, and why safety, not cost, is the real barrier to adoption.  We also explore how distributed battery systems can replace traditional grid upgrades, why hyperscaler demand is accelerating deployment, and how Moment Energy is positioning storage not just as a product, but as long-term infrastructure designed to last 100 years. MCJ is a three-time investor in Moment Energy. The company just closed a $40M Series B co-led by Evok Innovations and the Canadian Growth Fund — with the participation of Amazon, Liberty Mutual, Voyager and our fund.  Episode recorded on April 14, 2026 (Published on May 5, 2026). To mark the sixth anniversary of Raise the Line from Elsevier we're revisiting one of the most remarkable stories we've had the privilege of sharing over the last 575 episodes. To do that, we're delighted to welcome back Dr. David Fajgenbaum, a physician-scientist who repurposed an existing medication that saved his own life from Castleman disease, an ultra-rare condition that nearly killed him on five occasions. Because there was no treatment specifically for Castleman, Dr. Fajgenbaum set out to find a previously approved medication that might work. “I eventually found a drug that was made for another disease 50 years ago. It's been over 12 years that I've been doing great on this medicine.”   When he first joined us in 2022, Dr. Fajgenbaum was just launching a non-profit organization called Every Cure with the hope of replicating the success he achieved in his own case, and as you'll learn in this inspiring interview with host Lindsey Smith, its work has already saved thousands of lives. “It's a tragedy if someone dies while there's already a drug in their local hospital that could help them.”  In the latest installment of our Year of the Zebra series on rare conditions, you'll hear an inspiring example of a life saved by this approach and also learn about: The role of artificial intelligence in scanning thousands of medications and diseases to find possible matches; How Every Cure decides which drugs merit the costly research needed to confirm a match;  Dr. Fajgenbaum's philosophy of “living in overtime.” Mentioned in this episode:Every Cure Osmosis Video on Castleman Disease Dr. Fajgenbaum's Bestselling Memoir, Chasing My Cure If you like this podcast, please share it on your social channels. Do you ever doubt your purpose in life, especially when facing different or difficult seasons? And what do you do to help you live fully in God's presence? Today I‘m delighted to be speaking to, Peg Arnold—a Christian speaker and author and encourager—and self-confessed drama queen—who speaks to the many different seasons women walk through: joy, loss, struggle, and waiting. Some gems from our conversation and for your encouragement: I like to say I'm never retired, just repurposed. When facing the unknown, God spoke to me: "What makes you think that I don't have everything prepared for you in the days and years ahead?" When disappointed with circumstances, it helps me to have friends who remind me that God may have a different perspective than I am seeing right now. We have a choice to stay stuck in our anger and bitterness or choose instead to trust that God knows what he's doing and will bring good from whatever it is.  When your heart is broken it's a lonely place to be but it doesn't mean that God is not there with you and your broken heart.  Go to the Psalms and weave your painful story into David's lament. God is not afraid of our pain.  My legacy is to share with others that God loves them, delights in them, and has a purpose for their lives. Two of her books are Devotions for the Distracted Heart and Making Your Message Memorable and can be found on Amazon or her website: PegArnold.org. She's walked through loss and change and through each season found God and his Word to be her constant source of identity and joy. Be sure to access her free prayer guide here: Make Your Prayers Meaningful  https://dashboard.mailerlite.com/forms/752930/109370258823840924/share       ~~ I have a new book! Check it out HERE MOST DAYS, LIFE ISN'T PERFECT I wrote this book for everyone who has felt the pain of being alone because I have felt its sting even surrounded by wonderful people. We're created for relationship, with God and with one another—not because life becomes perfect when we have both God and community. That's not the point. No, it's because most days, life isn't perfect. And remembering we are loved and not alone is what gets us through those days. READ MORE HERE

On episode 316 of The Green Insider, Mike and Kemp discussed their business model of leasing abandoned wells from original producers, offering a revenue-sharing option if the well-owners wish to participate in energy storage revenue. Other items included: Proposes converting suitable idle oil and gas wells into energy storage facilities instead of fully plugging and abandoning them This alternative can be lower cost than traditional well plugging while still meeting regulatory well-closure requirements Benefits regulators (meeting plugging quotas), oil and gas companies (cost savings and potential revenue), and the electric grid (added energy storage) Describes a gravity-based storage system that stores energy by lowering and raising a 30,000‑pound weight inside sealed wells Wells are sealed to prevent methane leakage, though carbon credits are not relied on for economic viability The system functions like a battery, storing excess energy during low demand and releasing it during peak demand Repurpose existing wells and electrical infrastructure, avoiding the need for new high-voltage transmission lines Business model involves leasing abandoned wells from original producers, with an option for revenue sharing Notes that Renewell secured $6.4 million in grants to convert additional wells near Bakersfield, California, and build its first commercial-scale system To be an Insider Please subscribe to The Green Insider powered by ERENEWABLE wherever you get your podcast from and remember to leave us a five-star rating. The conversation also ties metabolic therapy to the “press–pulse” concept and terrain-based care: ketogenic nutrition, inflammation reduction, oxygenation, and lifestyle foundations that strengthen the body while making cancer more vulnerable.Whether you're a patient, caregiver, or practitioner, this episode offers a grounded roadmap for thinking about integrative oncology without guesswork—using a “test, assess, address” mindset to build a strategy that evolves with labs, symptoms, treatment phases, and the individual.Key Topics Covered (bulleted)Why cancer metabolism (not just genetics) is a key lever in integrative oncologyWhat repurposed/off-label drugs can target: glucose pathways, mitochondria, signaling pathways (e.g., EGFR/AKT/mTOR)Why one-size-fits-all protocols are risky—and how to personalize using “test, assess, address”The Care Oncology/METRICS drug set and when it may (or may not) fitSafety and dosing concerns with high-dose ivermectin/fenbendazole and DIY internet protocolsWhen metformin vs berberine may be appropriate—and why they can sometimes be combinedDoxycycline: potential synergy (e.g., with IV vitamin C) vs contraindications (including immunotherapy concerns)Anti-inflammatory strategy: COX pathways, aspirin vs selective COX-2 approaches, plus natural options“Press–pulse” metabolic strategy and why protocols should evolve over timeOther emerging tools discussed: DCA, 2-DG, cimetidine, itraconazole, PDE5 inhibitors (Viagra/Cialis) -----------------------------------------------A Better Way to Treat Cancer: A Comprehensive Guide to Understanding, Preventing and Most Effectively Treating Our Biggest Health ThreatGrab my book here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CM1KKD9X?ref_=pe_3052080_397514860 Unleashing 10X Power: A Revolutionary Approach to Conquering CancerGet it here: https://store.thekarlfeldtcenter.com/products/unleashing-10x-powerPrice: $24.99100% Off Discount Code: CANCERPODCAST1 Healing Within: Unraveling the Emotional Roots of CancerGet it here: https://store.thekarlfeldtcenter.com/products/healing-withinPrice: $24.99100% Off Discount Code: CANCERPODCAST2-----------------------------------------------Integrative Cancer Solutions was created to instill hope and empowerment. Beating Cancer Metabolically: Gut Health, Repurposed Drugs, and Patient Empowerment with David A. Caravantes

Integrative Cancer Solutions with Dr. Karlfeldt

This episode of Integrative Cancer Solutions centers on David A. Caravantes, founder of the Beat Cancer Foundation, tracing how his father's recovery catalyzed his mission to reframe cancer as a metabolic disease. Caravantes describes his path from breathwork and mitochondrial health to advocacy, arguing that conventional oncology often overlooks root-cause physiology. He situates his perspective amid recent public health controversies and his own family's experience, using that narrative to underscore the urgency of patient education and informed consent in cancer care.Caravantes distinguishes his foundation's philosophy by emphasizing terrain-focused care: gut integrity, systemic pH balance, oxygenation, fasting, and whole-food nutrition as the biochemical conditions that “starve” cancer. He critiques standard-of-care modalities—chemotherapy, radiation, frequent biopsies—for damaging beneficial microbiota, driving malnutrition, and potentially spreading malignant cells. In his view, addressing metabolic dysfunction is the common denominator not only in cancer but across chronic disease, and it requires sustained lifestyle shifts alongside targeted therapeutics.A major theme is the use of repurposed drugs and adjunctive modalities. Caravantes highlights agents such as metformin, ivermectin, doxycycline, and B17, as well as DMSO and exosomes, within protocols that aim to disrupt cancer metabolism and support immune regulation. He also references techniques like photodynamic therapy and therapeutic hypothermia. While critical of financial incentives that tether clinicians to narrow pathways, he frames his approach as complementary and integrative, seeking synergy rather than wholesale rejection of traditional tools.Education and empowerment recur throughout the conversation. Caravantes encourages patients to become “CEOs” of their health—asking questions, evaluating trade-offs, and insisting on transparent risk–benefit discussions. He shares anecdotes of patients facing institutional resistance when they probe beyond standard options, arguing that public awareness, media literacy, and community-led knowledge-sharing are prerequisites for meaningful change. Success stories of remission within his community are presented as evidence for broader adoption of metabolic strategies. The episode closes with actionable guidance: intermittent fasting within an eight-hour window, anti-processed-food habits, mineral-rich choices, and simple daily routines to nurture the body's terrain. Caravantes is ultimately optimistic, forecasting that patient demand and continued clinical exploration of repurposed drugs will shift oncology toward more holistic, metabolism-centered care. He envisions Beat Cancer Foundation as a conduit for that transition—training patients and practitioners to collaborate on personalized, integrative protocols that prioritize both efficacy and quality of life.David A. Caravantes explains how his father's recovery led him to found Beat Cancer Foundation and champion cancer as a metabolic disease. He argues conventional treatments like chemo and radiation damage gut health and nutrition, urging terrain-focused care that supports the microbiome and oxygenation. The conversation highlights repurposed drugs (e.g., metformin, ivermectin, doxycycline, B17) and adjuncts like DMSO and exosomes within integrative protocols.Education and patient empowerment are central, with a call for informed questioning and awareness of financial and institutional incentives in oncology.Practical takeaways include intermittent fasting, whole-food nutrition, mineral support, and lifestyle shifts to create conditions that “starve” cancer cells metabolically._____________________Grab my book A Better Way to Treat Cancer: A Comprehensive Guide to Understanding, Preventing and Most Effectively Treating Our Biggest Health Threat - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CM1KKD9X?ref_=pe_3052080_397514860 Unleashing 10X Power: A Revolutionary Approach to Conquering Cancerhttps://store.thekarlfeldtcenter.com/products/unleashing-10x-power-Price: $24.99-100% Off Discount Code: CANCERPODCAST1Healing Within: Unraveling the Emotional Roots of Cancerhttps://store.thekarlfeldtcenter.com/products/healing-within-Price: $24.99-100% Off Discount Code: CANCERPODCAST2----Integrative Cancer Solutions was created to instill hope and empowerment. In the early 1930s, Cleo McVicker came up with a product that could be used as wallpaper cleaner. Back then, most homes were heated by coal, and walls became covered in soot. Cleo’s invention could be rolled over wallpaper and would pick up the grime. Well, the wallpaper cleaner never became popular, but decades later, a teacher used Cleo’s product in her classes to create Christmas ornaments. From that was born a new company—Rainbow Crafts—and the wallpaper cleaner was repurposed as a children’s toy, “Play-Doh.” On a far greater scale, God has a way of repurposing people. We remember the biblical story of Joseph and his “coat of many colors. As a young man he was a lowly shepherd and was sold into slavery by his brothers. But God led Joseph through great difficulties and into the top ranks of government. Eventually, Joseph became “repurposed” as “the ruler of all Egypt” (Genesis 45:26). Yet we must note the end of the story: Joseph’s calling was not about power but about grace, Jacob’s son, Joseph, extended grace to his brothers, forgiving them. Reuniting with his family, Joseph “kissed all his brothers and wept over them” (v. 15). In a sense, all of us are “failed products.” It’s through “the grace of a Son,” Jesus, that we are repurposed into greater things. As you do life today, think of your higher purpose and remember to extend grace to others, just as Christ does for us.

Welcome to The Superhumanize Podcast. I'm your host, Ariane Sommer, and today we're diving into one of the most paradigm-shifting conversations in modern medicine: the metabolic theory of cancer. For decades, we've been told that cancer is primarily a genetic disease, a matter of unlucky mutations that require aggressive pharmaceutical interventions. But what if that's only part of the story? What if cancer is fundamentally a metabolic disease, a disorder of cellular energy production that we can address through diet, lifestyle, and targeted metabolic therapies? This isn't fringe science. And it's giving patients new hope, and new options, beyond the standard cut, poison, and burn model. Today, I'm thrilled to welcome Dr. Donese Worden to the show. Dr. Worden is a board-certified Naturopathic Medical Doctor, researcher, and global health educator who has dedicated her career to bridging conventional and alternative cancer care. So many of us have not only one copy of the Bible, but several, with some of those often doing little more than collecting dust. We go to church and most everyone has a copy or one is available. Bookstores regularly have them as well. We take this for granted yet in other parts of the world, many people long to have their own copy of the Scriptures. In such places, sometimes their pastor doesn't even have a copy! Jason Woolford is out to change that. He returned to Crosstalk to reacquaint listeners with information about Mission Cry where he's president. It all began about 70 years ago when a junk dealer found a Bible in the garbage and didn't want to throw it out. He kept collecting used Bibles and before long he had a box full which he sent to India. All these years later, Mission Cry has sent nearly 500 million dollars worth of donated Bibles and Christian books to over 180 nations around the world. You may be wondering what good could possibly come from sending used English Bibles to a foreign nation? What things can you do in order to obtain used Bibles to send to Mission Cry? Can you hold a Bible drive at your church? Are there testimonies that show the effectiveness of this ministry? These and other questions are answered on this exciting program, showing how you can be a world missionary without even leaving your area!

Send us a text Dr. Robert Jackson tackles the controversial yet increasingly compelling topic of repurposed drugs in cancer treatment, sharing remarkable patient stories that challenge conventional medical thinking.Meet the bladder cancer patient given no hope by her oncologist who achieved complete remission through mistletoe injections. Learn about Joe Tippin, the sole survivor in a lung cancer study who credits mebendazole—an inexpensive anti-parasitic medication—for his recovery. Perhaps most striking is the case of a terminal gallbladder cancer patient told to "get his affairs in order" who showed no evidence of disease after taking ivermectin, mebendazole, and vitamin D3.While acknowledging the limitations of anecdotal evidence, Dr. Jackson examines emerging clinical data supporting these approaches. The CUSP9 study using nine repurposed drugs showed 30% of glioblastoma patients disease-free after four years—dramatically better than the 5-10% typical with standard care. The METRICS study achieved 64% two-year survival in advanced glioblastoma using four common medications repurposed for cancer treatment.Dr. Jackson doesn't just talk the talk. When facing a suspected kidney cancer diagnosis himself, he immediately started taking mebendazole while awaiting surgery. "What have you got to lose?" he asks, noting these medications provide an affordable margin of safety alongside conventional treatments. Are pharmaceutical companies avoiding research into these approaches because there's no profit in off-patent medications? Why aren't more oncologists exploring these options? Listen now to this thought-provoking episode that might just change how you think about cancer treatment options.Support the showhttps://www.jacksonfamilyministry.comhttps://bobslone.com/home/podcast-production/

Happy Wednesday, Heal Squad! We're back with Dr. William Makis for part two of this powerful conversation… and it's one you don't want to miss. If you or someone you love is facing cancer, autoimmune disease, or neurological decline, this episode could shift everything. Dr. Makis shares what he's seeing firsthand in his clinical practice–real stories of patients with stage 4 cancer, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, even Parkinson's and Alzheimer's—experiencing surprising results with repurposed drugs like ivermectin and mebendazole. He breaks down how and why these low-cost, off-label options are working when nothing else does. We also dive into why many autoimmune symptoms are actually rooted in immune dysregulation, and the real reason alternative  solutions are being ignored (and who's behind it) If you've ever felt like the system isn't giving you the full story, you need to hear this. HEALERS & HEAL-LINERS:  Hormone disruption is on the rise. Testosterone levels are plummeting in men, while women are reporting irregular periods and fertility issues,  and it's not being taken seriously by most doctors. Autoimmune symptoms may be misdiagnosed: Many “mystery” symptoms like fatigue, joint pain, and brain fog are immune system red flags. Repurposed drugs are helping people heal. Medications like ivermectin and LDN (low-dose naltrexone) are being used off-label to reduce inflammation, regulate immune responses, and support recovery from long COVID and chronic illness. -- HEAL SQUAD SOCIALS IG: https://www.instagram.com/healsquad/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@healsquadxmaria HEAL SQUAD RESOURCES: Heal Squad Website:https://www.healsquad.com/ Heal Squad x Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/HealSquad/membership Maria Menounos Website: https://www.mariamenounos.com My Curated Macy's Page: Shop My Macy's Storefront Prenuvo: Prenuvo.com/MARIA for $300 off Delete Me: https://bit.ly/43rkHwi   code: SQUAD EMR-Tek Red Light: https://emr-tek.com/discount/Maria30 for 30% off Airbnb: https://www.airbnb.com/  Join In-Person Heal Retreat Waitlist! https://mariamenounos.myflodesk.com/heal-retreat-waitlist GUEST RESOURCES:  Instagram Good resources for Ivermectin and Mebendazole are: https://allfamilypharmacy.com/makis/ (CODE MAKIS25) For Fenbendazole: https://shopbplife.com?sca_ref=8426171.Rn4pU8ZWgs5W  (CODE: MAKIS15) For anyone wanting more information on how Ivermectin, fenbendazole, and mebendazole works, or need dosing protocols, connect with Dr. Makis makisw79@yahoo.com Or visit his Substack makismd.substack.com ABOUT MARIA MENOUNOS: Emmy Award-winning journalist, TV personality, actress, 2x NYT best-selling author, former pro-wrestler and brain tumor survivor, Maria Menounos' passion is to see others heal and to get better in all areas of life.
