Time is up. The Beasts are free. The mob is routed. The heroes are injured. Can Jarrus, Beth, Alek, and Sergeant Janes save Brandywine? Can they save themselves? Jarrus does a magical girl transformation, Beth lays on the car horn, Sergeant Janes makes his gun shoot good and loud, and Alek makes a molotoc cocktail. Recorded on 12/10/2020
As we return to the town of Brandywine, we find that things have accelerated. Aleksander is being brought in without time to plan and his new allies will have to improvise to rescue him and stop the Legion before it's too late. Alek tries to use big font to send a message, Beth gets everyone's attention atop a picnic table, Sergeant Janes commandeers a minivan, and Jarrus remembers how much simpler but worse things were back in his day. Recorded on 12/03/2020
Our humble heroes collect their addled memories and try to piece together a plan before the Red Moon rises and the Sacrifice begins. Will they be able to put up a resistance with so little time to prepare? Alek looks like a crazy person talking to his dog, Jarrus shows off his impressive armament storage, Sergeant Janes refuses to go anywhere with fewer than two weapons, and Beth plays the soccer mom ferrying everyone in her minivan. Recorded on 11/27/20
In a new trend of trying new worlds and (in future iterations) game systems in the hopes of getting groundwork started on a possible season 2, we delve into the town of Brandywine, MD, just one town afflicted by the continent consuming Blight. As our heroes emerge, reclaiming their memories of what the world was like before the apocalypse, can they team up to find a way to free Brandywine from its curse? Beth is worried about work-life balance when it comes to saving the world, Jarrus finds the most dangerous modern invention to be the minivan, Alek finds that a large dog is way heavier than Yoda, and Sergeant Janes makes the obligatory Munnsdale reference. Recorded on 10/29/20
Today on Dayspring Discussions, Lisa and I finish binging Star Wars book reviews with Jonathan Jackson Miller's A New Dawn. This Rebels prequel tells how Hera and Kanan met, where the Empire was getting the Death Star metal from, and how horny Jedi were after Order 66.
Kanan Jarrus makes the ultimate sacrifice to end production on the Tie Defender, but Lothal is remains on a course for disaster. We discuss the meaning of Kanan's sacrifice, the importance of Hera's assault on the factory, and WHAT or WHO are the Loth Wolves and what are their intentions? All this and more on the World Between Worlds. In this episode we discuss the Season 4 Rebels episodes "Crawler Commandeers," "Rebel Assault," "Jedi Knight," and "Dume."
During the height of Imperial power, it is on the backwater world of Lothal where a brave group of heroes must find the courage to resist against the Empire. The two-part premiere for Star Wars: Rebels introduces us to a brand new cast of heroes and villains. We discuss new lead Ezra Bridger and what rebellion means to him, the Ghost crew's feelings towards Ezra, the legacy of the Prequel-era Jedi, connections to Solo, and look forward to all the amazing stories that we have to look forward to as we begin the second Star Wars television show and inch closer towards the Original Trilogy here on the World Between Worlds. Fangirls Going Rogue: Star Wars Conversation from a Female POV
On March 2nd, 2018 Fangirls Going Rogue had the chance to join in on a roundtable discussion with Star Wars Rebels Executive Producer Dave Filoni. We got to discuss topics from Kanan to the force and even hear what Dave’s last lesson from the show was. His insight was inspiring and really helped us come to terms with the end of this amazing piece of Star Wars. This roundtable was recorded prior to viewing the series finale; therefore there will be no spoilers.

It's time to deliver with a special interview featuring Dave Filoni, Executive Producer of Star Wars Rebels. Our biweekly Rebels review for "The Wynkahthu Job" and "An Inside Man" has arrived! And this time Thrawn is more than just a menacing presence, giving our hosts something to talk about! Granted, there are a few detours in the conversation, but not much happened in "The Wynkahthu Job," so it was allowed.
