Welcome to another riveting episode of FATHER.SON.GALAXY. In this installment, we delve into the heart of "Ahsoka Episode Three: Time to Fly." Ahsoka and Sabine's training takes center stage, as the classic visor and the wisdom of "trust your instincts" guide them on their journey.Hera enters the political arena, contacting the Senate for mission approval. However, her interactions with the senators reveal a deeper conflict, with Mon Mothma appearing to delegate the responsibility. Hera's poignant question, "Did you ever fight in the war?" echoes in the chamber.Sabine's attempt to harness the Force unfolds, resulting in failure. Hera, unable to approve the mission, leaves Ahsoka, Sabine, and Huyang to chart their own course. Meanwhile, Shin, Marrok, and a fleet deploy to stop our heroes, but they prove unstoppable.Ahsoka's spacewalk, reminiscent of Leia Organa's iconic moment, becomes a pivotal part of the action.Next, we ponder the question of who is qualified to train in the ways of the Force. The Force resides in all living things, as Kanan and Ahsoka have taught us, but hereditary force sensitivity may not guarantee strength. With no other Force sensibilities in her family, Sabine's path to Jedi training is a unique one.Huyang, the voice of reason, steps in to train Sabine in various forms, mirroring Kanan's training of Sabine with the Darksaber. Is Sabine perhaps the most challenging Jedi trainee? Ahsoka's response, "It does not matter," invites us to consider the Jedi standards and their limitations.Jacen Syndulla's desire to become a Jedi is explored, rooted in his father Kanan Jarrus's strong Force sensitivity. Yet, Hera, his mother, remains hesitant. Our discussion then turns to the Senate, featuring Chancellor Mothma and Senator Xiono. The Senate Committee's rejection of the idea to allocate resources in the search for Thrawn highlights the political challenges faced by the New Republic and the Resistance. As our heroes inch closer to their destination, we encounter a hyperspace ring in construction, potentially capable of galactic exploration. Ahsoka's ship faces destruction but is quickly repaired, and a daring spacewalk ensues. The enigmatic Purrgils make a striking appearance, adding to the intrigue. The episode concludes with Ahsoka's ship landing on an unknown planet, where Skoll and his team prepare to track them down.OUR SOCIALS:We are featured on STARWARS.com! In the canon book Secrets of the Jedi by Insight Editions, we get the thoughts and point of view of Luke Skywalker on almost every character. Today's episode will discuss and explain his thoughts on Kanan Jarrus and his Jedi Master, Depa Bilaba, who was Mace Windu's apprentice. She also had a seat on the Jedi Council, unlike Qui-Gon Jinn. I always found it interesting how Anakin had a seat but wasn't a Jedi Master, yet Qui-Gon didn't have a seat, yet was a Jedi Master. Kind of shows you how they were a perfect fit for one another if they came together as Master and Apprentice, Father and Son so to speak. This view of Luke Skywalker shows Kanan's journey through Order 66 and his memoirs during his escape. He questions if his master's sacrifice was worth it, which of course as he goes to train Ezra Bridger later on, we know it was. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Ghost crew takes on a dangerous mission to save a Jedi Master rumored to have survived Order 66, but things don't go according to plan. Listen to what Stef and Chris say about the episode!
Will we see Force-ghost Kanan speak to Ezra in the Ahsoka series? We discuss that and also take a closer look at the directors new to Star Wars, specifically for The Mandalorian and The Acolyte. ↫Story↬ (Story written by me! For more stories like these, check me out on Wattpad: https://www.wattpad.com/user/Kaila_Falcon) .......... You'd known Kanan Jarrus for as long as you could remember. Well, you'd first known him as Caleb Dume, but that was before the world got flipped upside down and the soldiers you'd once fought alongside like brothers turned against you both - ordered to kill. The pair of you had ran. Ran until you'd found yourselves once more fighting for a worthy and noble cause - alongside a family once more. But regardless of how long you've known the brown haired Jedi for, you can't quite say you've ever seen him this annoyed… yet so fondly determined. Ezra Bridger, yet another Force-sensitive boy the Empire had yet to find, was taken under the wing of your friend a few months ago after a run-in on the very planet you're on now - Lothal. ‘Ezra's a fiery one, that's for sure,' you chuckle inwardly, watching from the overhang of the cave the three of you had set up camp in as the boy works to keep himself from teetering off the edge of the cliff in a one-handed handstand, Kanan by his side. “Focus. Focus on letting go,” He urges, earning a scoff from the younger one. “Letting go? I'd rather hold on if you don't mind.” At this, Kanan shakes his head, passing Ezra a disapproving glance. “Enough jokes. Focus.” “I'm trying!” “Do or do not, there is no try,” The Jedi reminds, a rather stern expression crossing his features, visible from even the slight distance from where you watch, silently peering through the light rain. “What does that even mean? How can I do something if I don't try to do it?” Ezra muses, dropping rather clumsily to his feet, rubbing his shoulders with a frown, his damp hair falling in front of his eyes. “Well… You see…” Kanan trails off, searching for a valid explanation that no one even back at the Temple ever knew the answer to - no one besides the Grand Master himself. “Actually, that one always confused me too, but Master Yoda sure used to say it a lot.” From your side, Hera's droid by the name of Chopper mutters something along the lines of a disapproving laugh, no doubt unimpressed by your friend's apparent lack of an explanation. Hearing the droid, Ezra shoots you and he a look, clearly angry and beyond annoyed. Seeing his student's shift in moods, Kanan gently places a hand on the boy's shoulder, guiding him a bit farther down the grassy path, away from the rock ledge, un-clipping his two-part Saber from his belt and assembling it. “Here. let's try something else.” The pair's footsteps retreat from your senses as they wander away from your direct view, their faint voices and their presence in the Force the only thing keeping you company. And as you allow their chatter and training to fade into a constant murmur, the Astromech leaving your side with a few soft beeps and whistles, you settle on the blanket laid out beneath you, closing your eyes and… letting go. Something that you're sure Ezra will soon understand how to do. Times are changing for the better… and maybe, with three Jedi standing together… Maybe the fight against the Empire stands a chance after all. .......... ↫Connect With Me!↬ My Website (Containing my socials + Contact info + Idea submission forms + other awesome, free stuff!) https://sites.google.com/view/kaila-falcon .......... ↫Disclaimer↬ None of these sounds, songs or images used to make this are mine. Welcome to the place where we get to let our geek flags fly and talk about all things geek. Basically a fuzzy guide to life, the universe, and everything but mostly geek stuff. This is a look into the world of geekdom and some geek news, comics, The Simpsons, Star Wars, and whatever randomness finds its way onto the recording. This level of the podcast is what happens when 3 good friends rank their Top 5 Star Wars characters and then resolve to have them battle it out to the death just like their favorite superheroes and villains. One random bracket generator later and here we are. A battle between (in no particular order) Tsui Choi, Chewbacca, Kal Skirata, Qui-Gon Jinn, Garazeb Orrelios, Wedge Antilles, Kanan Jarrus, Darth Nihilus, Din Djarin, Rahm Kota, Peli Motto, Wicket W Warrick, Count Dooku of Serreno, Obi Wan Kenobi, Asajj Ventress, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Jar Jar Binks, and Dr Chelli Aphra. If you want to see the starting bracket… scroll below all these words but what awaits you is a big old slugfest both figuratively and actual and ultimately just a fun fun conversation to mark the official 300th episode of the podcast. Join us for thrills, chills, decisions you may disagree with and ultimately, one champion who may or may not be the best Star Wars character to ever battle. At last! It's here! We got our first look at the upcoming Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer last week, so we have to discuss! On Episode 27 of The Jedi Way, hosts John Rocha and Laura Kelly discuss the philosophy of attachment, and lack thereof, in the Jedi Order. Yoda taught us that attachment leads to jealousy, but does it always have to be that way? The Jedi generally accepted this concept without much argument for thousands of generations - until they didn't. Join us as we explore the cycle of attachment that started with Anakin and brought us to Luke Skywalker forcing Grogu to make a difficult choice in The Book of Boba Fett. How were some Jedi in the canon able to embrace attachment and falling to the dark side? We're looking at you, Kanan Jarrus. Let's dive into the influence of religion in Star Wars, how The High Republic Jedi differ on their view on attachment and what the future may hold for Star Wars storytelling!
