We are back! Before discussing Star Wars, we had a frank discussion about the 2024 election. Yes, we talk about politics because, like Star Wars, politics is a thing. After the election discussion, we discussed the Star Wars Rebels episode "Imperial Supercommandos" (s3s7). Mandalorians are crazy, as Ezra Bridger notes by the end of the episode. We learn about a new type of advisory with The Empire, and Sabine proves once again she's a badass. Listen to hear what the divas have to say! Hi everyone! In this episode, I am so excited today because I am talking to Ezra Bridger himself from Ahsoka, aka Eman Esfandi! You guys, Eman is so sweet and genuine. We dive into everything from how spirituality plays a huge role in his life, to the wild story of how Ezra quite literally found him. Eman talks about growing up with immigrant parents, pivoting from tennis dreams to acting, and how he almost quit the industry before landing in the Star Wars universe. Plus, we get into his music career as DragonWulf and how following his joy helped him manifest all the great things that have happened to him. I love this episode so much. Eman is so honest and has lived a lot of lives at only 27 years old. You're going to love it. Remember to stick around to the hindsight where my producer Jeph and I discuss the episode and try not to get me canceled. We also respond to your comments and emails in the Mail Sack! Philip and Elliott discuss the latest live-action Star Wars series from Lucasfilm and Disney Plus, 'Ahsoka,' spotlighting the popular Jedi who first appeared in 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars.' Ahsoka Tano is portrayed by Rosario Dawson in this eight-episode exploration of the roving former Jedi. Ahsoka is searching for clues to the location of Grand Admiral Thrawn, who disappeared years prior along with Rebel hero Ezra Bridger. Rumors abound of Thawn's possible return, and his leadership could prove devastating to the frail New Republic. A small band of heroes must work together to thwart the actions of a secretive group of agents who are working to unlock the secret route to a faraway planet--a world that plays host to mysteries pivotal to the future of the galaxy. This may prove too tempting a Pandora's box to simply allow it to remain unopened, as it may be the key to rescuing Ezra. Welcome to Episode 155 of The Force Geeks: A Star Wars Podcast! Join Nate, Jake and Chris as they dive deep into the big moments of Part 7 of the Ahsoka series, just released on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023. The Geeks recorded this podcast minutes after the Disney+ premiere of this episode of Ahsoka!***If you have not watched the first seven episodes of Ahsoka, be warned that the Geeks are going into great detail about the big reveals in the show.***This episode is a treasure trove of Star Wars delights, with the introduction of Threepio as a way of invoking Preincess Leia, more Hayden Christensen, and intriguing hints at his future involvement. The ever-cunning Thrawn makes his presence felt as he stays one step ahead of our heroes, setting the stage for a thrilling showdown to come later. Ahsoka's intense face-off with Baylan, devoid of any concrete plan, becomes the plan in itself, while we explore how Ezra has managed to survive all these years without his lightsaber. As we brace for the series finale with only one episode left, we uncover a subtle Easter egg on Baylan's wrist, tying him to the Skywalker family legacy. Plus, we celebrate the end of the writer's strike and eagerly await Dave Filoni's return to press engagements, hoping for insights to make sense of it all.

The ComicBook Nation Crew Recaps Star Wars: Ahsoka Episode 6 “Far, Far, Away” with full Spoilers! Was Grand Admiral Thrawn's (Lars Mikkelsen) debut everything we hoped? What about Ezra Bridger's (Eman Esfandi) Return? Was the journey to find Ezra fulfilling, or too rushed? Was it Okay that this was another Star Wars bait-and-switch Bottle episode focused on Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) instead of Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson)? Is Thrawn's Army of DIY Stormtroopers and ancient witches a big enough threat for the New Republic event film? What do we want to see in the final two episodes for the series? Path of the Jedi Since Ahsoka is searching for Ezra Bridger every Tuesday night in the Ahsoka series, we thought we would reshare this interview with Taylor Gray, the voice of Ezra Bridger from Star Wars Rebels. We talk with Taylor about his movie Thunderstruck where he played basketball with NBA Superstar Kevin Durant. We talk about Rebels, meeting Dave Filoni, and why Dave Filoni is such a good storyteller. Taylor also tells us about why wearing a Philadelphia Flyers hat for his first meeting may have been an issue, but thankfully for all of us, it wasn't... Our mission in this podcast bonus series is simple: we pick a few Star Wars Rebels episodes from Season 1, we do a quick summary/discussion and we ask/answer the question, wtf does this have to do with the Ahsoka series? In Part 1 of Force Toast's Rebels Recap on Tap, hosts Alyce and Laura recap Season 1 and re-christen the Grand Inquisitor as Richard. You're either with us on this, OR YOU'RE OUR ENEMY.To summarize Season 1: Ezra is Aladdin, Kallas goes to Kessel, Ol' Grandy is a messy bitch, Luminara gets ghosted, the Phantom is a baby marsupial, Yoda is floating light balls and Kanan is dead but not reallyStar Wars Rebels is like interval training for your eyes and earsWhen pork chops fail to satisfy, we present an alternative form of chop for the menu. Or should we say man-u?If you're a hardcore Sebrezra shipper, this bonus series may not be for youFor that matter, if you're a massive fan of Ezra Bridger in general, this episode may not be for you (admit it, he was kind of annoying when he was 14)Enjoy the moment where Laura forgets the word “pyromaniac” but gets close kinda?Alyce takes REALLY good notes#MakeOldGrandyRichard“Ya know, cuz sh-t rhymes and whatnot” -George Lucas at some point, probablyTwitter: @forcetoastpod | @sLeiaAllDay | @ShutUp_LauraInstagram: @forcetoastpodEmail: forcetoastpod@gmail.comWebsite: forcetoastpod.com*This podcast contains a sh!t ton of profanity and boozin. You can find a bleeped version of this podcast absolutely nowhere. Cheers!

We did it! We made it through the Clone Wars Legacy materials, past Solo (for some reason), and into the heart of the show that is going to take over our lives for the next year plus—or at least until Andor season 2 starts. Today we kick off Star Wars: Rebels, meeting the crew in a series of four, hijinks-laden shorts and then moving on to the two part intro that sets Ezra Bridger on a journey to... well, that's the thing, we have no idea where his journey will take him! Isn't that exciting? Please let folks know that this might be a good point to hop on board the AMCA train, get yourselves ready for the bevy of upcoming Star Wars material that is seemingly picking up where Rebels leaves off. Also, give special thanks to Ricardo Contreras, who handled the edit for this episode, and will hopefully be sticking with production duties going forward! They absolutely crushed it! Here we are. Our final diversion before we finally arrive at Rebels. And what a diversion it is. A couple of really good heists. A couple of great performances. Solid props and sets. An incredibly paced, 60 minute film. I'm sorry. Huh? You're telling me... you're saying that's not even half the movie? It what? It botches a droid liberation arc? They do what with the droid freedom fighter's still living mind? Who shows up???? Oh, right. That one we knew already.
