On the penultimate day of campaigning, former Prime Minister Boris Johnson took to the stage at a Conservative rally in central London, warning that a Labour government would be "pregnant with horrors". Sir Keir Starmer spent the day in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire and spoke to the BBC's Chris Mason on prison overcrowding, pensioners' tax, and immigration. In the US, the fallout continues from Joe Biden's dismal debate performance last week, as the first Democratic Congressman publicly called for Biden to step aside. After the Supreme Court ruled Donald Trump enjoyed partial immunity for actions taken in office, a New York judge delayed sentencing in his criminal hush money trial.Meanwhile Britain's Supreme Court issued a significant verdict in a dispute between the owners of the Manchester Ship Canal and United Utilities, which will allow the latter to be sued for damages over the dumping of raw sewage in the waterway.

Called the Devil's Urinal by the locals The Manchester Ship Canal has claimed the bodies of thousands. In a 15 yr period over 90 men have been pulled from the deadly waterway. Are these crimes connected? Or are they coincidences? In one year 16 men were found dead along the canal. One lock is now called the Tunnel of Doom due to the number of deaths that have happened there.A little like the Smiley faced killer in America, the Pusher has a penchant for young men. Although as of yet no handy signature has been left at the scene. The men are often out in town, enjoying a meet up with mates, or spending their hard earned wages from the previous few days. The men, some of which are boys, are often separated from their friends for one reason or another. Many of them have phones and wallets intact when found. Which speaks of no robbery and the ability to get a cab home. So how do they vanish and appear in or next too Manchester's notorious water way?

Most of you know me for my Youtube Channel or through one of my Social media sites. I make articles and podcasts and I am asked often why I do what I do, it seems strange to some that an ordinary lady from the North West of England has an interest in the subject of Cryptid Creatures and Unexplained Phenomena across the globe. I am known for reports of encounters, but would it surprise you to know that I have also experienced something completely impossible to explain, and it has been my search for answers to this event which has led me to where I am today. The images you see are real and from my town, they show the streets I grew up in, the school I went to and the park land through the years. Any Creature Images are picked out by the witnesses in order to give a good illustration of what they each saw. This all started for me back in 1982, I lived in an area called Pendleton, Salford in the North West of England, just at the end of the Manchester Ship Canal. It must have been mid afternoon the sun was shining on us and it was lovely to be honest, warm and sunny. I was chatting and laughing with my friend when we both caught a very slight movement in the bushes and shadows, the next thing a huge hairy gorilla ape type face was thrust at us from the bushes. We both screamed while It just glared at us. It was a huge thing, it looked like a man and an ape had been pushed together, combined and presented in such a way to horrify young children, a monster. It wasnt a kid in a mask, or a strange homeless tramp. In fact many years later I sat down with a police profile artist who made an artist rendition of what I saw that day. He was dark leathery skinned, he had amber dark eyes and his hair was really dark brown that it almost looked black, but it also had a redness to it. His jawline was thickly muscled and his mouth and teeth were like ours, his nose was flattish like a boxers. I just looked at him terrified. I remember the muscles around his face, he looked like he could crush bones with one bite. A powerful horror fit for anyone's nightmare.I had no way of describing what I saw back then but I knew other people must have seen them too. Many years later I did find some similar looking 'creatures' in archives and books but nothing spot on. Nothing completely exact. In my head he is still the man ape, the popular name is British Bigfoot, Woodwose, Wildman.

Bonye and Dockar address the law of forfeiture, how relief from forfeiture works and how the court's decision to allow relief in relation to a licence means the text books will have to be rewritten. In addition, they employ a case study to explain how the ruling might apply in a more conventional development scenario - as well as exploring potential other situations.

Often we think of nature reserves are a product of preserving pristine or unique habitat for wildlife. Yet many nature reserves are products of reclaiming man made activity and letting nature take its course, with a little help. For this Living World wildlife presenter Lindsey Chapman relives the magic of a once industrial landscape which Lionel Kelleway explored in 2000. Lionel visits Woolston Eyes nature reserve near to Warrington where he meets up with Brian Martin who at the time of recording had been at the reserve for over 20 years recording the wildlife. This reserve is owned by the Manchester Ship Canal company and for years was used as a site to deposit dredging’s from the canal. Over the decades as Lionel discovered the site became a hotch potch of heaps and shallow areas which since 1980 when the site began the long process of conversion from the devastation of canal spoil into a wildlife haven, yet only a stone’s throw from the Warrington urban area. Along the way Lionel discovers some of the species which had moved in to make this their home, such sedge warbler and black necked grebe which the site has become an important breeding area for. In summer many butterflies, moths, other insects can be found, including dragonflies making use of the lagoon ponds which have been created on site. To bring this story up to date since this programme was first broadcast; Lindsey Chapman offers some recent updates into the denizens of Woolston Eyes
