Feet are an amazing thing. With them we walk until we stub a toe. Then life seems to stop. What else do we do with feet?Copyright Dave Andrus 2021

Lately I had contemplated about walking away from all of the things that I do. At first, I was going to title this episode, "When It's Time To Back Away" but God changed my mind, heart and spirit about that decision and he changed my mind at the beginning of this episode about the topic of this episode and my decision to walk away from it all. So let's get into this topic and let me inspire you to your greatness that is within me and you. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/sharise-johnson-moore/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/sharise-johnson-moore/support
Our theme verse for 2021 is in the middle of our passage today. Interestingly, it is surrounded by warnings about how NOT to walk. The majority in Isaiah's day was walking away from God and His ways. There was "a way" that seemed right, but it ended in destruction and death. How can we know if we are on the RIGHT way? It starts with humbling yourself as a child and allowing God's Word to correct your steps.
Christianity is a walk, and we must be taught how to do it. We need instructions or training in righteousness. This podcast will show you how. Be blessed!
In this episode we are going to discuss self control and self discipline. Lil Nas X put out a limited edition shoe with demonic themes and overtones, to celebrate the release of his new song and music video where he dances inappropriately on the devil before becoming him. Sigh. That’s a sentence I never thought I would type. So let’s talk about it I guess. Caleb and Danny talk about how the Christian should respond to the increase in cultural darkness that seems to be becoming more and more prominent. Rather than simply just calling a thing sinful and dark, we must be graceful in our approach. And rather than just being silent, we must actually be willing to engage and call out darkness for what it is while seeking to bring people into the light. “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says, “Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” (Ephesians 5:11-14, ESV) We want to hear from you! How can we engage in the spiritual battle and proclaim the light in the midst of darkness? Ask us questions or just say hi! When I was growing up in the 1970s being at an age to absorb the scriptures of visionaries from comics like 2000ad that had their interpretations of our future societies ring fenced into the confines of comic books purchased by younglings eager to expand their wanton minds… Seldom would I envisage that I would actually lay witness to a sequence of events that make fantastic tales of an impending dystopian society a reality…And then came 2020! Called the Devil's Urinal by the locals The Manchester Ship Canal has claimed the bodies of thousands. In a 15 yr period over 90 men have been pulled from the deadly waterway. Are these crimes connected? Or are they coincidences? In one year 16 men were found dead along the canal. One lock is now called the Tunnel of Doom due to the number of deaths that have happened there.A little like the Smiley faced killer in America, the Pusher has a penchant for young men. Although as of yet no handy signature has been left at the scene. The men are often out in town, enjoying a meet up with mates, or spending their hard earned wages from the previous few days. The men, some of which are boys, are often separated from their friends for one reason or another. Many of them have phones and wallets intact when found. Which speaks of no robbery and the ability to get a cab home. So how do they vanish and appear in or next too Manchester's notorious water way?

Key Takeaways: You can say almost anything to anybody if you frame it correctly When you are frustrated or angry, reflect before speaking. After giving a directive, ask “Is there something I am missing,” or “Tell me why this won't work.” "The moments that I spend thinking about how to frame the feedback, and which kind of feedback to use puts me in a grounded position, that relaxes me." — Wayne Hart Connect with Wayne Hart: Facebook: Wayne Hart PhD Website: www.ccl.org Email: waynehartphd@outlook.com Book: Feedback in Performance Reviews LinkedIn: Wayne Hart PhD Connect with Jordan: Get a free copy of Jordan's book at www.workplacewarrior.com Website: www.workplacewarriorinc.com Twitter: https://twitter.com/jordangoldrich1 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jordan.goldrich Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jordangoldrich/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jgoldrich/
Dennis connects via Zoom with singer-songwriter-actor Levi Kreis from his home in Knoxville, Tennessee to talk about his latest EP Bad Habit and his upcoming series of virtual concerts (October 20th, November 18th and November 15th). He talks about drawing from his experience as a recovering addict in writing the song "Bad Habit" and shooting its accompanying video. He also discusses his cover of George Michael's and the controversy it stirred up on line. He talks about being outed as gay at his Christian college while signed to a gospel record label and having his whole life blow up...and then ultimately finding redemption just a few years ago. He also talks about playing Jerry Lee Lewis in the hit Broadway musical Million Dollar Quartet, winning the Tony for the role...and then getting separated from his phone, his now-husband and his actual award in the crush after the ceremony. He talks about going through eight different record labels before deciding to just put out his own CD and recorded his breakout album One of the Ones for $200. He recalls the profound reaction he had to the Del Shores' play Southern Baptist Sissies and why he went back to see it over 30 times, then ended up writing a song inspired by it. He also shares his earliest memory of music; coming home from his graduation from kindergarten, sitting down at the piano in his basement and figuring out how to play it by ear. Other topics include: the dark, toxic cloud hanging over Los Angeles, getting his big break on the reality show The Apprentice, learning about the music business by shadowing singer Brenda Lee on the road and the undeniable goddess-ness of J.Lo. www.levikreis.com
