Now when it was late that same day, the first of the week, and the doors were shut, where the disciples were gathered together, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them: Peace be to you.Cum ergo sero esset die illo, una sabbatorum, et fores essent clausae, ubi erant discipuli congregati propter metum Judaeorum : venit Jesus, et stetit in medio, et dixit eis : Pax vobis.  20 And when he had said this, he shewed them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad, when they saw the Lord. 21 He said therefore to them again: Peace be to you. As the Father hath sent me, I also send you.Dixit ergo eis iterum : Pax vobis. Sicut misit me Pater, et ego mitto vos.  22 When he had said this, he breathed on them; and he said to them: Receive ye the Holy Ghost.Haec cum dixisset, insufflavit, et dixit eis : Accipite Spiritum Sanctum :  23 Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained.quorum remiseritis peccata, remittuntur eis : et quorum retinueritis, retenta sunt.  24 Now Thomas, one of the twelve, who is called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said to him: We have seen the Lord. But he said to them: Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.Dixerunt ergo ei alii discipuli : Vidimus Dominum. Ille autem dixit eis : Nisi videro in manibus ejus fixuram clavorum, et mittam digitum meum in locum clavorum, et mittam manum meam in latus ejus, non credam.  26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Jesus cometh, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said: Peace be to you. 27 Then he saith to Thomas: Put in thy finger hither, and see my hands; and bring hither thy hand, and put it into my side; and be not faithless, but believing. 28 Thomas answered, and said to him: My Lord, and my God.Respondit Thomas, et dixit ei : Dominus meus et Deus meus.  29 Jesus saith to him: Because thou hast seen me, Thomas, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and have believed. 30 Many other signs also did Jesus in the sight of his disciples, which are not written in this book. 31 But these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God: and that believing, you may have life in his name. In this episode, I'll talk about how you can and will keep teaching music, yes... even if it's online. Just like when you were a new music teacher, you took things one day and one week at a time, until you eventually found your groove. The same can apply for teaching remotely. This isn't going to be easy and just something that comes Also.. just like when you're in the classroom, don't compare what you're doing with your students to anyone else because your expectations put on you, your teaching style, and what your students need are all different than any other music teacher. Remember to just encourage your kids to engage in active music making- my kids enjoy just dancing, singing familiar songs, and doing movement or body percussion activities Right now is the perfect way for kids to make music with their families. So often they're already singing the songs you've done with them or teaching a music game or dance they've learned, so that won't change. Nothing replaces you- yes, there are so many technology options out there and so much advice being thrown around, but nothing will replace you as a teacher. You can still communicate (even if by just posting on your class website or PTA page) different ways students can make music together and remind them how to do it. Know that parents and kids are trying to find a new routine right now. So many parents were sent home work to do with their kids (speaking from experience here) while juggling working full time as well. Music still matters, but there won't be as much time to make music as you had to do with the kids at school. Let go of expectations you've put on yourself. I think so often we're overachievers as music educators and that's a good thing. You'd rather have more planned than not enough. Just like I talk to you about keeping it simple in your classroom and not trying to get through all the things, the same applies with teaching remotely. You'll see so much out there that you could do with your kiddos, but it doesn't mean you have to or even need to. It's still your classroom, even if it's virtual, so the systems and processes for teaching you have put in place is completely up to you. Take time to just breathe. It's ok to not teach all day every day like you've been used to doing. In this episode I show you a flyer that I personally received at my home from a cash for houses buyer. These characters are typically all about the money and take advantage of people who may be desperate to sell their house because of life problems and challenges. In the heat of the moment a seller could end up leaving lots of money on the table selling their house off market for under fair market value. House is a Journey

**WARNING NOT FOR MINORS ** Deep in my kind of Groove A few months ago this podcast was selected (as part of a random sample of online music), for a doctoral study by the Musicology Dept of UMich. Amongst the "open" questions I was asked was the following one: " Are there any of your sets you would like to make public but haven't due to self-censorship or fear that your target audience will not be interested?" Got me thinking.. This set is an example of what I would not have normaly published.. Yet.. it is MY KIND OF GROOVE.. It has a bit of sugar, a bit on underground house, great deep meaningful tunes and a dash of indie/house and lots of vocal samples. By "my kind of groove" I do not infer that this music is "better" or anything of the sort.. Just that it is "my kind of Groove.." **WARNING NOT FOR MINORS ** Before I get any messages and/or rantings on promotings drugs, let me make the following crystal clear: I do not condone drugs, prescribed or illegal. Drugs f@ck up people. As to marijuana in particular, the research is there for everyone to make the educated clever choice. There is a clear correlation between Marijuana and psychotic episodes on younger not fully formed brains. This is not an inference, but a statiscally significant correlation between usage and mental health in 15 to 25 y.o. Since the research cannot identify the genetic cluster, using Dope puts young minds at risk as no one knows if he/she may or may not be affected.  So DRUGS NOT MY KIND OF GROOVE AT ALL... MUSIC YES! This being said why did I use the 50's samples? Because this mix is, as said in the Intro, what I had mixed but never wanted to publickly upload.. And if you follow me, you know that I have a HUGE weakness for vocal samples.. Be it cinematic or doctoral lectures etc.. And I was not going to sit on this sample forever!! Playlist Intro How To Smoke A Joint Acapella. Agev Munsen & Roland Clark Highlights: there is a bit of everything in this set but "The Phuture Ain't What It Used to Be", "Velvet Touch" examplify the crossover existing today between Indie and House. House has always fused with whatever the main underground currents of the times are and fusing with Indie will just give our scene the creators and edges it needs. "Love da Records", "The Thing About Deep" & "All This Love For You" are the Deep sounds I love with vocals that fits and talks to us. Christian
