„Jdu kolem, vidím, zde se očkuje, vejdu dovnitř, za půl hodinky mám hotovo,“ říká v podcastu Zdravé Zprávy o očkování v lékárnách viceprezident České lékárnické komory [ČLnK] Martin Kopecký.Tento týden v úterý [17.2.] zveřejnili na speciální tiskové konferenci zástupci Sdružení praktických lékařů výsledky průzkumu, podle kterého mají zájem o očkování v lékárnách zhruba jen tři procenta Čechů. Podle viceprezidenta [ČLnK] Martina Kopeckého je toto číslo „hodně ulítlé číslo“.„My provádíme průzkum na stejné téma každé dva roky, naposledy v roce 2025. Čili máme takovou řadu od roku 2019 až do roku 2025. Také se ptáme respondentů, zda by měli zájem o očkování v lékárnách. A my se pohybujeme mezi 20 až 50 procenty respondentů. Naposledy to bylo asi 30 procent respondentů, kteří mají zájem o očkování v lékárnách,“ říká v podcastu Zdravé Zprávy Martin Kopecký.A dodává: „Já jsem viděl jenom výsledky toho průzkumu praktiků. Vůbec netuším, jak byl ten průzkum udělán. Jak byla postavena otázka. […] Ale ta tři procenta v jejich průzkumu se mi zdají jako hodně ulítlé číslo.“ Zároveň připomíná, že už před zhruba čtyřmi roky, kdy se podal legislativní návrh o očkování lékárníky v lékárnách, aby se následně pozastavil a odložil, mělo zájem o očkování v lékárnách mezi 45 až 50 procenty lidí.„Takže, jak došli praktici k těm třem procentům, netuším. Ale zdá se mi to číslo malé,“ krčí rameny viceprezident ČLnK Kopecký.Na otázku, proč se praktici dlouhodobě brání možnosti, aby se mohli lidé naočkovat i v lékárně, Martin Kopecký odpovídá, že neví. Ale myslí si, že se nejspíš obávají toho, že jim lékárníci „chtějí fušovat do řemesla“. Podle něj se očkování v lékárnách už ale stalo v mnoha evropských zemích docela běžným standardem.„My vycházíme z toho, že v Evropě se očkuje v lékárnách už ve dvaceti zemích. Za chvíli se bude očkovat v lékárnách i na Slovensku, kde ta legislativa už také je. Jenom tam dlouho připravovali školicí program pro lékárníky... Takže to bude další země. Nevím, čeho se praktici obávají,“ vysvětluje pozici lékárníků v podcastu Zdravé Zprávy Martin Kopecký.Upozorňuje i na to, že z průzkumu mezi samotnými lékárníky vychází, že ne každý lékárník bude a chce očkovat. As immigration enforcement actions continue across the country, Indigenous people are increasingly concerned they are being targeted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). And some have been detained. For the Mountain West News Bureau, Daniel Spaulding has more. On the morning of December 5, ShyLynn Allen received a panicked phone call from Jose Joaquin Sanchez Alvarado, the father of her children. Alvarado was driving from his home in Meridian, Idaho to pick up their 10-year-old son to take him to school. Suddenly, he was surrounded by police. “He called me from inside the car and he’s like, ‘I think,’ he’s like, ‘I think they’re taking me.’ And he was just like, ‘I’m pretty sure.’ He’s like, ‘I’m pretty sure they’re detaining me.” Allen is a member of the Shoshone-Paiute Tribe in Idaho and Nevada. Alvarado, who is undocumented and not a tribal member, came to the United States from Mexico when he was just 11-years-old. “He doesn't have a criminal record. I don't even know why they're really targeting him. You know, he's a good person. He's not. He's never been in trouble like he always works like that's all he does is work.” Alvarado is now being held in an ICE detention facility near Las Vegas, Nev. Allen says the emotional toll has fallen heavily on their children. “Now they don't even want to go outside or do anything.” As ICE ramps up operations across the country, that fear is widespread in Native communities. Despite being U.S. citizens and members of sovereign tribal nations, Indigenous people are increasingly being questioned – and in some cases detained – by immigration agents. In January, Peter Yazzie, an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, was detained by ICE in Phoenix before being released later that day. “We are the first peoples of the country, and our citizenship should never be questioned or challenged by anyone.” That is Crystalyne Curley, the Speaker of the Navajo Nation Council. In January, the council passed legislation calling on ICE to formally recognize Navajo Nation identification documents. Many tribes across the country are urging their citizens to carry tribal IDs at all times. In January, the Native American Rights Fund (NARF) hosted a know your rights webinar. Over a thousand people attended. Beth Wright (Laguna Pueblo) is a senior staff attorney at NARF. “Yeah, we’re getting a lot of outreach from folks all over the country. I think there’s a lot of concern about what to do if tribal citizens are stopped by ICE and what their rights are in different encounters with ICE. I think one of the important messages to convey is that tribal citizens are citizens of the U.S.” But many Native parents are worried that tribal IDs won't be enough. Eva Flores is a member of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe in Arizona. She lives in Caldwell, Idaho. “You know, I fear for my kids to go out, even just to school or activities, not knowing if, you know, they're coming home or if they're going to be picked up.” In a statement, the Department of Homeland Security said its agents are trained to determine a person's immigration status and whether they are subject to removal. As tribal leaders call on federal authorities to respect tribal sovereignty, parents like ShyLynn Allen are focused on protecting their children. “We don't need ICE on our street. They're only terrorizing brown people. And it's not doing any good. Jak dlouho takové rozpočty uneseme?Hostem Ptám se já byl předseda Národní rozpočtové rady Mojmír Hampl. Zástupci vládní koalice v noci schválili základní parametry návrhu státního rozpočtu na letošní rok se schodkem 310 miliard korun. Příjmy, výdaje, schodek a způsob jeho vypořádání už tedy Sněmovna nemůže měnit. Poslanci nyní mohou navrhovat jen přesuny uvnitř rozpočtu.Opozice rozpočet označila za nezodpovědný a v rozporu se zákonem o pravidlech rozpočtové odpovědnosti. Opírá se přitom o stanovisko Národní rozpočtové rady (NRR). Pochybnosti vyjádřil i prezident Petr Pavel. Ministryně financí Alena Schillerová (ANO) to odmítá a trvá na tom, že tato pravidla se na její rozpočet kvůli mimořádným okolnostem nevztahují. V posledních dnech několikrát zopakovala, že rozpočet je realistický a pravdivý. S předsedou sněmovního rozpočtového výboru Vladimírem Pikorou (Motoristé) se shodla, že navržený schodek je maximum možného. „Rozhodně jedeme rozpočet, který je na Stanjurově podvozku,“ řekl Pikora s odkazem na předchozího šéfa státní kasy Zbyňka Stanjuru (ODS). „Záleží na tom, jestli bude vláda chtít přidávat nějaké výdaje v průběhu roku. Tohle riziko si člověk uvědomí, když jsme se dozvěděli, že Ministerstvo práce a sociálních věcí chce otevřít zákon o důchodovém pojištění. Chce nejen upravovat parametry důchodového systému, které byly řečeny před volbami. Ale je tam něco, co nás znervózňuje. To znamená, že to má proběhnout rychle a mají tam být nějaké změny už od září letošního roku. Nevíme jaké. Tak pak by byla otázka, jak by se financovaly, jestli by ten problém nebyl větší,“ řekl v Ptám se já předseda Národní rozpočtové rady Mojmír Hampl. Že by státní rozpočet na letošní rok odporoval zákonu o rozpočtové odpovědnosti popřel i premiér Andrej Babiš (ANO) už v sobotním rozhovoru pro televizi Nova, kde odmítl stanovisko Národní rozpočtové rady a označil ji za zbytečnou instituci.„My jsme zřízeni zákonem. Tím zákonem o pravidlech rozpočtové odpovědnosti. Teoreticky by někdo mohl i ten zákon zrušit, byť z našeho pohledu by to bylo v jasném rozporu s evropským právem, které platí. Kia ora.Welcome to Thursday's Economy Watch where we follow the economic events and trends that affect Aotearoa/New Zealand.I'm David Chaston and this is the international edition from Interest.co.nz.Today we lead with news of what seems to be an outlier jobs report that has financial markets sceptical.US non-farm payrolls were claimed to have risen +130,000 in January in delayed data released today, far above the downwardly revised +48,000 level for December and more than double analysts' collective estimates. All the gains seem to be in their healthcare sector. If it stands, it undermines the case for Fed rate cuts.Market reactions have not been supportive, with bond yields rising, rate curves fattening, the equity markets falling, and the USD falling.The detail of this jobs report remains 'interesting' all the same. Raw (not seasonally adjusted) data shows payrolls actually fell -2.65 mln in January from December, down -2.85 mln from November. And nested within this data are revisions for calendar 2025 now showing employment growth for 2025 revised down to +181,000 from +584,000 previously reported, implying average monthly job gains of just +15,000.These revisions bring the official data back looking like the private ADP data - except for the January headline result. Markets expect this to be revised sharply down in coming months.US mortgage applications fell again last week, the third consecutive dip, although not as sharp as the prior two.There was another US Treasury bond auction overnight, this one for their ten year Note. It was well supported. The median yield came in at 4.11%, down from the 4.13% at the prior equivalent event a month ago.Meanwhile, the US budget deficit keeps getting worse. It will grow in fiscal 2026 to -US$1.85 tln, the Congressional Budget Office said overnight. Current policy settings are worsening the country's fiscal picture amid low economic growth, particularly the enormous tax-cuts for the rich. They say the "One Big Beautiful Bill" tax cuts will will add $4.7 tln to US deficits.Across the Pacific, there is still no inflation in China, and it has turned toward deflation faster than expected. Their annual inflation rate eased to +0.2% in January from an already very low 0.8% in the previous month. This is its lowest level since October and below market estimates of 0.4%. Food prices fell for the first time in three months (-0.7% vs 1.1% in December) while non-food inflation slowed sharply too (0.4% vs 0.8%). Meanwhile, Chinese producer price deflation eased to -1.4%.China also released January car sales data, coming in at 2.35 mln for the month. However, that was -3.3% lower than for January 2025 and +-3.8% lower than the same month in 2024. Notably soft were NEV sales in January. Perhaps we are seeing signs of maturing (or exhaustion?) in this very dynamic market. It's is hugely important to China's industrial base, selling more than 34 mln units in 2025.In Australia, the number of new owner-occupier new home loan commitments rose +7.5 in the December 2025 quarter compared with a year ago. On a value basis, that rose +18.9%. For housing investor loans for the same periods, the number of new loans rose +24%, and their value rose +32%.The UST 10yr yield is now just under 4.17%, and up +2 bps from yesterday. The price of gold will start today up +US$58 from yesterday at US$5075/oz. Silver is up +US$3.50 at US$84/oz and extending its new volatility.American oil prices are up +US$1 at just on US$65/bbl, while the international Brent price is now just under US$70/bbl.The Kiwi dollar is up a minor +10 bps against the USD from yesterday, still just under 60.6 USc. Against the Aussie we are down -50 bps at 85 AUc. We are also down against the yen. But against the euro we are up +20 bps at 51 euro cents. That all means our TWI-5 starts today little-changed, still at about 63.9.The bitcoin price starts today at US$65,965 and down -5.1% from this time yesterday. Jen soubor populárních hesel - tak vidí zemědělskou politiku nové vlády Asociace soukromého zemědělství, která sdružuje zhruba osm tisíc malých a středních farem, které hospodaří na 40 % českých polí a luk. Její předseda Jaroslav Šebek zdůrazňuje, že v programovém prohlášení koalice nevidí žádnou koncepci. A kritizuje i aktuální kroky kabinetu. Ten totiž na konci ledna navýšil o 800 milionů objem zemědělských dotací, čtvrt miliardy by přitom mělo jít na program, ze kterého v minulosti čerpaly peníze hlavně společnosti holdingu Agrofert. Nevěřím, že to nedopadne stejně, dodává Šebek.

Europe's bus depots might seem an unlikely place to discover the "truth" of its economic ties with China. Not the kind delivered in some European politicians' sound bites, but the kind that shows up on spreadsheets, maintenance logs and accident reports. The two approaches to the climate crisis—talk shop and workshop—have produced very different results. Přesto si z politiků utahují dál. „Nejlépe prodávají časopis,“ říká šéfredaktor Reflexu Martin Bartkovský.„Tomio Okamura je samozřejmě Pitomio a my všichni to můžeme říkat. Jak konstatoval soud, musí snést vyšší míru kritiky. Navíc to, kdy jako první věc ve funkci předsedy Sněmovny podrží štafle, aby někdo jiný sundal ukrajinskou vlajku, která se mu nelíbí, je podle mě krystalickou ukázkou chování někoho, komu by se dalo říkat Pitomio,“ vysvětluje Martin Bartkovský, šéfredaktor časopisu Reflex, který byl hostem nejnovějšího dílu podcastu Mediální cirkus.Právě vyobrazení Tomia Okamury jako klauna s nápisem Pitomio je asi nejslavnější obálka Reflexu. A to i díky následnému soudnímu sporu.Vyšla 7. listopadu 2012 v době, kdy se Okamura stal senátorem a pracoval na znásobení známosti svého jména tím, že kandidoval v prvních přímých prezidentských volbách. Po vydání karikatury dal Okamura na Reflex žalobu. Tu ale po mnohaleté soudní tahanici předloni definitivně prohrál.Na obálce fungují Babiš, Zeman a OkamuraČasopis Reflex vychází v Česku už 35 let a na výrazných titulních stranách si zakládá.„Fungují čeští politici. Byla doba, kdy vládl Andrej Babiš s Milošem Zemanem a do toho tam jako třetí vzadu pobíhal Tomio Okamura nebo komunisté, o které se vláda tehdy opírala. Tam stačilo kohokoliv z téhle vlády dát na obálku a hned tam prodeje byly. Dneska už to takhle není,“ říká šéfredaktor Bartkovský. „Filip Turek a jeho volební blitzkrieg v eurovolbách zafungoval velmi dobře. Motoristé fungují. I Andrej Babiš. Funguje i prezident Petr Pavel a vždycky funguje Volodymyr Zelenskyj. Stejně tak Vladimir Putin nebo Donald Trump, ale to jsou jediné zahraniční persony,“ popisuje Bartkovský taktiku při výrobě titulních stran.Vůbec nejúspěšnější titulní strany Reflexu za rok 2025 se ale nakonec politiky vůbec netýkaly. „Byly to obálky in memoriam našich dlouholetých spolupracovníků. Tím jedním byl psycholog Cyril Höschl a tím druhým byl šéf karlovarského filmového festivalu pan Jiří Bartoška,“ dodává Martin Bartkovský.Ten se šéfredaktorem Reflexu stal v prosinci 2023, po půl roce nejistoty ve vedení časopisu. Před ním ho řídil Marek Stoniš a časopis se často dostával na hranu kritiky za texty a titulky zavánějící někdy až xenofobií.„Kvůli obálce s černým Hitlerem chtěla odejít polovina redakce. Občas už jsme byli prostě zbytečně zlí. Vtipné je být vtipní, satiričtí, jízliví, ale když jste vyloženě zlí, a dávali to vědět i čtenáři, tak to vtipné není,“ říká Bartkovský a naráží na titulní stranu s portrétem Adolfa Hitlera coby černocha s monstrózním afro účesem, která vyšla v roce 2020.Babiš jako Slabiš. Nevíme, z koho si utahovat dřívS novou vládou je podle Bartkovského stále těžší si z ministrů dělat legraci, protože v redakci neví, koho karikovat dříve.„Je to vlastně bezprecedentní situace, kdy byste mohli každý týden udělat na každého člena vlády jednu obálku, tedy kromě těch členů SPD, kteří nic neříkají. Ale ti ostatní jsou velmi plodní,“ žertuje novinář s tím, že na obálce tento čtvrtek by chtěl mít Andreje Babiše. „Bude na té obálce jako Slabiš, bude se opírat o Macinku s Turkem a Okamurou a bude se snažit udělat Česko lepší, nejlepší zemí na této planetě,“ směje se Bartkovský.I humor má ale v Reflexu hranice.„Nemáme hranice v tom, z kterého politika si udělat legraci, ale nechceme si dělat legraci ze všedních lidí, obyčejných Čechů, z někoho, kdo se nemůže bránit. My si vždycky děláme legraci z lidí, kteří mají nějakou moc nebo mají pocit, že drží nějakou moc a my je chceme trošku uzemňovat,“ říká šéf oblíbeného časopisu.Co čeká od vlády Andreje Babiše? Rodeo announcer Randy Taylor (Cherokee) knows what he's talking about. He was a bareback rider for nearly 20 years. Forty years ago, the Oklahoma native was the first rider out of the chute at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nev. After a stint in college and then as a chiropractor, Taylor turned to announcing. His voice is now recognizable all over and on his nationally syndicated show, “Word With A Champ“. He just received the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism. He is also a dedicated advocate for Native American youth. The Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation neighboring Fountain Hills, Ariz. recently dealt with reports of “aggressive dogs running loose”, resulting in attacks that prompted its police department to increase patrols while urging the public to stay away. KJZZ's Gabriel Pietrorazio reports. Two tribal members were bitten last week and are now recovering from non-lethal injuries, according to acting chief of police Jesse Puffer. “We did catch three out of the four dogs.” Incidents like this are not uncommon on tribal lands with canines roaming their 24,000-acre reservation. Some are seen as strays – often dogs that are dumped there by owners who do not wish to keep them – while others are claimed by tribal members as pets. “We also have a dog ordinance, too, so people get cited for that as well – depending on what the nature anywhere from, you know, $150 fine and plus you and it can be higher if you can't show record of vaccination and also licensing.” The documentary “Remaining Native” tracks Yerington Paiute Tribal member Ku Stevens as he confronts the horror of what his great-grandfather went through in boarding school. Stevens created a remembrance run tracking the same route his great-grandfather took to escape his boarding school. KNPR's Jimmy Romo attended a screening of the film and brings us this report. Warning: This story includes accounts of violence against children In 1913, government officials ripped 8-year-old Yerington Paiute Tribe member Frank Quinn from his family and placed him in the Stewart Indian Boarding School near Carson City, Nev.  As part of her history PhD studies at UNLV, Annie Delgado researches what actually happened to Native children in the U.S. boarding school system. “The early years are just filled with trauma, abuse, pain, and just assimilation.”   Many students tried to escape the abuse. Quinn's great-grandson Ku Stevens is the protagonist in the documentary, “Remaining Native”. In the film, viewers learn, along with Stevens, the story of his great-grandfather. To remember the courage of Native children who tried to escape, Stevens organized a remembrance run from Yerington, Nev. to the Stewart Indian School.  The first run took place in 2021, followed by three others. The route marked the same 50-mile run Quinn took to go back home, as Stevens explains.   “They were running, sweating and bleeding. I think of this guy Russell, who I consider just like an uncle, broke both his feet, fractured them by the end of the run. And he did all 50 miles.”   In the most recent class action lawsuit, the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes and the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California filed a case against the federal government in May. They are suing over misused funds. Currently, the sovereign nations are requesting the U.S. itemize a $23 billion trust fund, established by pressuring Native nations to sign agreements. Most of  these treaties promised that the U.S. would educate Indigenous children in exchange for their land. That wasn't what happened, according to UNLV's Annie Delgado. “The United States government itself knows that these schools did not educate [children] the way they intended to educate.”  The communal trauma of boarding schools still affects Indigenous families across the nation.  “Remaining Native” is still available for community screenings. The Bridging Agency Data Gaps & Ensuring Safety for Native Communities Act has passed the U.S. Senate. It supports the recruitment and retention of Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) law enforcement officers, bolsters federal missing persons resources, and gives Tribes and states tools to combat MMIP. The legislation is led by U.S. Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NM), John Hoeven (R-ND), Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), and Mike Rounds (R-SD).   Get National Native News delivered to your inbox daily. CELÝ ZÁZNAM DEBATY NAJDETE NA HEROHERO.CO/STUDION Kremelské dezinformace už pronikají do umělé inteligence. „Rusům se daří vtisknout své narativy do AI chatbotů,“ upozorňuje Jakub Kalenský z Evropského centra excelence pro boj s hybridními hrozbami. „Některé akademické výzkumy ukázaly, že pokud se jich zeptáte na Ukrajinu, budou až ve třetině případů papouškovat ruskou propagandu, což je poměrně dramatické,“ říká.  Ve Studiu N live z Knihovny Václava Havla přináší nové poznatky o nenávistných projevech a dezinformacích také filozof jazyka Tomáš Koblížek z Akademie věd a právnička Monika Hanych z Ústavního soudu. Odborníci se shodují, že zatímco dezinformační narativy zůstávají stále podobné, zásadně se mění způsob jejich doručování. „Snaží se například ‚vyprat‘ informace. Je to stejný princip, jako když se perou špinavé peníze – snaží se zakrýt jejich původ. Hledají místní spolupracovníky, kteří budou šířit jejich lži. A vy pak konzumujete od českého človíčka na jeho telegramovém kanálu takzvané nezávislé informace. Už se ale nedozvíte, že tyto informace jsou totožné s materiály v patnácti různých jazycích a všechny vycházejí z ruského originálu,“ popisuje Kalenský. Nejlepší dezinformace je podle něj ta, která je vystavěná kolem zrnka pravdy: „S tím Rusové pracují vědomě už dekády. Je to propracované a systematické.“ Filozof jazyka Tomáš Koblížek doplňuje, že nemá rád označení „dezinformátor“. „Klidně ale používám pojem dezinformace, a to z praktického důvodu. Falešné informace, které lidé šíří, často sami považují za pravdivé – někdo je oklamal a oni jsou zčásti oběti. Když na ně začnete křičet, že jsou dezinformátoři nebo propagandisté, ztížíte si tím možnost s nimi komunikovat,“ poznamenává v debatě. Českému státu podle expertů chybí kvantitativní data. „Nevíme, kolik přesně kanálů Rusové kontrolují, kolik dezinformací denně vychrlí a kolik lidí tím denně zasáhnou,“ upozorňuje Kalenský. „O tom problému nemůže mluvit jen vláda, ale také neziskové organizace nebo média. Třeba na Ukrajině jsou velmi kreativní – tam o ruské propagandě mluví standup komici. Oslovují tím publikum, které já bych nikdy neoslovil. Humor je fantastická zbraň v boji proti propagandě,“ tvrdí.
