The island's tropical climate eliminates low-temperature battery degradation that negatively impacts NEV performance in northern regions. The coastal scenic highway falls within the single-charge range of many mainstream electric models. Additionally, Hainan does not levy separate highway tolls, but instead incorporates road maintenance costs into gasoline prices through a 1.05 yuan-per-liter surcharge, inflating fuel costs above mainland levels. Neví, zda chtějí koaliční strany systém vědomě přeformátovat nebo jednotlivými změnami jen vyhovují konkrétní straně či skupině podporovatelů. Zásadní rizika ale vidí u veřejnoprávních médií, útoků na Ústavní soud i snahy omezit prezidentovy pravomoci. U plánovaného financování České televize a Českého rozhlasu ze státního rozpočtu postrádá veřejnou debatu, analýzy i jasné údaje o tom, kolik peněz mají média dostávat. „Když je něco v klidu a plus minus to funguje, tak to spíš neměňte, nehýbejte s tím,“ říká. Nestačí podle něj napsat do zákona, že média budou nezávislá, pokud budou zároveň vystavena politickým a finančním tlakům. Bez podkladů se může politik jen „zhoupnout v židli“ a rozhodnout, že jim bude stačit polovina současného rozpočtu: „Tím pádem je to rozhodnutí zcela arbitrární.“ Za nepřiměřená považuje Kysela také slova ministra Petra Macinky o „ústavním puči“ po rozhodnutí Ústavního soudu o cestě Petra Pavla do Ankary. Prezident podle něj využil prostředek, který právo předpokládá a obrátil se na soud, jenž má ústavu vykládat. Označovat jeho rozhodnutí za puč podrývá důvěru veřejnosti k Ústavnímu soudu. Odmítá také tvrzení, že jde o „Pavlův soud“ jen proto, že část soudců jmenoval současný prezident. Soudci jsou podle něj svou rolí zavázáni spíš k tomu, „aby mu byli nevděční“. Kritizuje i celkový způsob, jakým Macinka o prezidentovi mluví - například jako o „soudruhu prezidentovi“. „Takhle by se někdo veřejně neměl chovat asi k nikomu,“ říká Kysela. Politici by podle něj měli ve stále polarizovanější společnosti spíš tlumit vášně a ubírat pod kotlem, ne dál přitápět. „Společenské formy nejsou bezvýznamné, protože nám právě umožňují být spolu,“ dodává. Kriticky hodnotí také zákon, který má prezidentovi odebrat část pravomocí při jmenování diplomatů. „Málokdy se vám podaří přijmout nebo napsat zákon, který je tak evidentně protiústavní jako tenhle,“ varuje. Ve vztahu k prezidentovi v něm vidí „v jisté míře mstu, v jisté míře šikanu“. Kompetenční spory ale mohou být užitečné: bez nich podle Kysely v české politice často vyhrává ten, kdo odmítne jednat. Je současný chaos skutečně řízený? Proč podle Kysely vládní politici podrývají důvěru v Ústavní soud? A může spor mezi vládou a prezidentem nově vymezit jejich pravomoci? Tomicová otevřeně přiznává, že ji zneklidňuje současná atmosféra kolem kultury. „Co se děje v kultuře, vnímám nejvíc. Mám strach. Snaží se kabinet jen natahovat čas?Hostem Ptám se já byl předseda Senátu Miloš Vystrčil (ODS). Prezident Petr Pavel se v pondělí vydal na jednání koaliční vlády ANO, SPD a Motoristů se záměrem vyjasnit si pozice ohledně klíčových zahraničních cest ústavních činitelů.Po schůzce ocenil, že ho vláda schválila do čela delegace na Valné shromáždění OSN, které se bude v září konat v New Yorku. Podle vyjádření Hradu se Pavel zároveň „v zájmu prezidentem preferovaného kooperativního vztahu s vládou“ rozhodl přistoupit na posun termínu (na 22. června), ve kterém chce kabinet oznámit podobu delegace na červencový summit NATO v Ankaře. O složení delegace na alianční summit se prezident pře s kabinetem Andreje Babiše (ANO) bezvýsledně už několik měsíců. Pavel na své účasti na summitu trvá. Má také připravenou kompetenční žalobu pro případ, že ho vláda do delegace nezařadí. Chápal by to totiž jako omezování svých pravomocí. Premiér už dříve řekl, že by prezident součástí delegace být neměl, protože české výdaje na obranu by měl na summitu obhajovat kabinet.Do sporu s vládou se kvůli zahraniční delegaci dostal také druhý nejvyšší ústavní činitel státu. Koalice odmítla poskytnout vládní letadlo šéfovi Senátu Miloši Vystrčilovi a zástupcům z řad podnikatelů, kultury a univerzit pro cestu na Tchaj-wan. Premiér to zdůvodnil tím, že by to mohlo být vnímáno jako oficiální podpora Tchaj-wanu, která by mohla poškodit české obchodní zájmy v Číně. To Vystrčil odmítl. Nakonec absolvoval let komerční linkou. Doprovázela ho čtyřicetičlenná podnikatelská delegace, další desítka se připojila na Tchaj-wanu.Podle Vystrčila by pomohlo, kdyby se opět obnovila komunikace o zahraniční politice mezi nejvyššími představiteli Česka. „To vyloženě dnes chybí. Jak při plánování zahraničních cest, ale třeba když se teď bavíme o summitu v Ankaře, tak předtím bude summit předsedů parlamentů jednotlivých zemí v Istanbulu. A měli bychom si říkat, co tam budeme prosazovat, jakým způsobem budeme připravovat půdu pro Českou republiku,“ řekl šéf Senátu v Ptám se já. „Já Tomio Okamurovi nedokážu vysvětlit, že není dobré, aby tam (v Istanbulu) říkal, že máme vystupovat z NATO. Protože má přece názor, že bychom neměli být v NATO. V tom by měl koordinační roli sehrát ministr zahraničních věcí. Nevím, co tam bude (Tomio Okamura) říkat. Jedno procento je taky podcast, kam si zvu zajímavé a zábavné hosty. Nebo prostě lidi, které mám rád či z různých důvodů obdivuju.Jako třeba toho dnešního. Marek Hlavica má za sebou několik kariér: už v druhé polovině osmdesátých let byl úspěšným novinářem v tehdy legendárním Mladém světě, pak ho chvíli řídil jako ředitel, před koncem tisíciletí se přesunul do světa komunikace a reklamy. V ní končil jako konzultant, a dnes je, řečeno nehezkým slovem, papalášem hned ve dvou profesních organizacích. Ale aby jeho seniorská léta nebyla nudná a úřednická, je zároveň aktivním a taky uznávaným muzikantem. Plus tedy ještě právě vydává svou první knihu.O tom všem jsme spolu mluvili. A taky o tom, proč se mu spousta důležitých věcí v života podařila na druhý pokus. Ne na první nebo na třetí, ale nejčastěji právě na ten druhý. Jaký je rozdíl mezi tím, když člověk pracuje v korporaci, anebo když pro korporaci pracuje na volné noze - a budete se divit, souvisí to se zatloukáním hřebíčku do stěny. Mimo jiné.Proč měl v životě štěstí i smůlu, jak se to vezme, na velké a dramatické události. A řeč kupodivu nebyla o revolucích či státních převratech, ale o požáru v pivovaru a bankovní loupeži. Plus jsem se ho zeptal, kým by chtěl být, kdyby dostal možnost žít ještě jeden život. Odpověď vás možná překvapí, jako mě.Povídání s Markem Hlavicou mě bavilo, asi proto, že se známe dlouho, možná třicet let, ale nikdy jsme spolu takto důkladně nemluvili. A tak jsem napjatě poslouchal, když popisoval, jak jednou přišel omylem v Ostravě na jiný koncert, než si vybral - a byl z toho jeden z největších hudebních zážitků. Nebo když vysvětluje, proč se nebojí smrti, ale bojí se budoucnosti.Snad to bude bavit i vás.A připomínám: už příští týden mám v Divadle v Řeznické premiéru se svým novým standupem, je to 28. května, a pokud neseženete lístek, přijďte 19. června na reprízu. A kdy představí slibovaná opatření zvyšující bezpečnost na fotbale?  Hostem Ptám se já je místopředseda Poslanecké sněmovny Patrik Nacher (ANO), který se na přípravě nové legislativy k bezpečnosti na stadionech podílí. Na násilné události na fotbalovém pražském derby mezi Slavií a Spartou minulý víkend vláda hned reagovala vytvořením pracovní skupiny složené ze zástupců politických stran napříč Sněmovnou, zástupců fotbalu i odborníků na bezpečnost. Podle ministra pro sport Borise Šťastného (Motoristé) by skupina mohla řešit například problematiku kamer s rozpoznáváním obličejů nebo pravomoci pořadatelů. Opatření by se podle ministra měla připravit co nejdříve.Premiér Andrej Babiš (ANO) označil výtržnosti ve vršovickém Edenu za strašnou ostudu a selhání. Dění v závěru zápasu, kdy v sedmé minutě nastavení dav domácích fanoušků vnikl na trávník, střetl se s hráči Sparty a házel světlice mezi diváky, označil předseda vlády za obrovské selhání a strašnou škodu. „Změna musí být brutální,“ uvedl. „Nevím, co si pod tím slovem brutální změna Andrej Babiš představil. Teď si studuji i systémy, které jsou v zahraničí. V Polsku třeba máte registrované všechny fanoušky, ne problémové, všechny. A to už je zase extrém,“ řekl v Ptám se já místopředseda Sněmovny Patrik Nacher (ANO) s tím, že on sám velké změny neočekává. „Měli bychom jít cestou, po které volám dva roky. Všichni jsou vždy pro, ale jak se to od té události vzdaluje, tak všichni vychladnou a najednou začnou říkat, proč ty věci neměnit kvůli pár lidem.“Nacher v rozhovoru také komentoval aktuálně schválené usnesení Sněmovny proti sjezdu sudetských Němců v Brně: „Na návrh SPD bylo nakonec schváleno usnesení Poslanecké sněmovny o tom, že se to odsuzuje. Ve Sněmovně máte témata, která se týkají zákonů, a pak máte témata, která se týkají společenských věcí. Tam mimochodem spadají třeba i ti fanoušci.“ "Tohle prostě vytáhla koalice. I mně chodily e-maily od lidí, že si to nepřejí, že to považují za provokaci. Tak se to vytáhlo jako téma. Upřímně, sám jsem se k tomu přiznal, jsem byl překvapen, netušil jsem, že opozice jako jeden muž bude proti tomu. Takhle velkou protireakci jsem nečekal, “ dodal poslanec. Na závěr rozhovoru Patrik Nacher také prozradil, kde se zdržel jím připravovaný návrh na úpravu koncesionářských poplatků, který koalice avizovala jako jistý mezikrok, než bude hotová nová mediální legislativa chystaná ministerstvem kultury. „Já jsem chvilku i přemlouval kolegy, ať se na to vykašleme po jednáních s generálními řediteli. Ale zlomilo se to ve mně, když jsem viděl, co dělá opozice. V těchto dnech už to bude. Myslím, že příští týden už to budu moct prezentovat,“ dodal. Jak je to s nenávistí mezi Spartou a Slavií? Dnes podle něj přichází další zlom: AI agenti, kteří už nejsou jen chatbotem v prohlížeči, ale programem v počítači, který může pracovat se soubory, maily nebo kalendářem. Popisuje, proč u lidí sleduje až „AI psychózu“, kdy najednou zjišťují, co všechno si dokážou udělat sami - a často tak ani nechtějí chodit spát. Nadšení ale okamžitě brzdí varováním. „Důvěra podle mě není dobré slovo. Člověk musí být extrémně opatrný,“ říká a dodává, že se umělá inteligence pořád může „splašit“. AI agent může být podle Grudla nesmírně užitečný, ale právě tím, že má přístup k počítači, souborům nebo e-mailu, se podle něj otevírá i nový bezpečnostní problém - hrozí totiž útoky, při nichž se škodlivá instrukce může schovat třeba v mailu. Grudl tak upozorňuje, že pokud agent „chytne vira“, může být průšvih mnohem vážnější než u starého EXE souboru. Přesto popularizátor umělé inteligence zůstává optimista. Nevěří, že AI nutně vezme všem práci, spíš podle něj změní to, co považujeme za možné. „Džin byl vypuštěn,“ říká k debatě, zda je umělá inteligence jen bublina. I kdyby podle něj některé firmy zkrachovaly, technologie už tu zůstane. A lidem, kteří AI odmítají, vzkazuje, že je to podobné, jako když dneska někdo odmítne používat počítač. Proč jsou AI agenti podle Grudla největší posun od nástupu chatbotů? Kde je hranice mezi užitečným nástrojem a bezpečnostním rizikem? (AJFU / Wikimedia) A newly filed federal lawsuit alleges two Las Vegas hotel-casinos enabled years of sex trafficking tied to convicted sex offender Nathan Chasing Horse. The civil complaint was filed on behalf of two survivors, and names Boyd Gaming, Station Casinos, and other entities as defendants. The suit alleges trafficking occurred at properties including Cannery Casino & Hotel and Santa Fe Station Hotel and Casino between 2014 and 2022. According to the lawsuit, Chasing Horse used his position as a self-described spiritual leader to manipulate and control women through coercion, isolation, and threats of violence. The complaint alleges the women were forced into commercial sex acts while hotel staff ignored visible warning signs. Attorney Alex Marcinko represents the survivors. “People like Nathan Chasing Horse don't operate in a vacuum. He doesn't exist without other entities allowing him to.” The lawsuit alleges hotel staff repeatedly rented rooms to Chasing Horse despite signs the women were being controlled and exploited. It also claims the hotels financially benefited from the repeated stays. “There was obvious signs of the torment these women were undergoing at these hotels, and nothing was done.” Chasing Horse was convicted earlier this year on sex trafficking and sexual abuse charges and sentenced in April to 37 years to life in prison. The lawsuit was filed under the federal Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act, which allows survivors to pursue civil claims against businesses accused of knowingly benefiting from trafficking ventures. Marcinko says the case could also raise broader questions about accountability within the hotel industry. “The hotel industry turns a blind eye to the human suffering in sex trafficking. It happens far too often.” The lawsuit seeks damages for the physical, emotional, and psychological harm the survivors say they endured. They do hair, nails, and makeup, provide jewelry, shoes, corsages, and boutonnieres, and even do alterations on the many donated suits and dresses. “So I'm really happy to be here, because I love doing hair and makeup.” Lisa Lynch is one of the many glam faeries helping in the crowded room. “So I'm happy to be able to do this for other kids whose families can't be here to help them like that.” Alonza Topkok just finished her turn in the makeup chair. “I wanted shimmer, and I wanted glitter, and that's exactly what they gave me.” She says her prom look is inspired by the 2001 Mariah Carey cult classic “Glitter”. She says it means a lot that people volunteer their time and donate clothes, makeup, and jewelry when she and her friends don't have family members nearby to help out. Freshman Andrew Adams from Mentasta Lake is hovering at the entrance to the common room with his friends Calvin and Kacin. Adams went to a middle school prom a couple of years ago, but this is his first high school prom. When asked if they are all going to go up and ask those girls to dance, Adams replied, “Maybe, yeah.” Despite some nerves, Adams and his friends eventually ask one of the volunteers to help them get ready. Ceny ropy dál rostou. Nekončící konflikt na Blízkém východě by tak kromě cen na čerpacích stanicích brzy mohl dopadnut i na růst české ekonomiky. Jak se osvědčuje vládní regulace cen pohonných hmot?Hostem Ptám se já byl poradce ministryně financí, ekonom z Národohospodářské fakulty VŠE Milan Bednář. Cena ropy Brent se dnes vyšplhala na nové čtyřleté maximum. Od začátku letošního roku se více než zdvojnásobila v důsledku konfliktu na Blízkém východě, který koncem února odstartovaly americko-izraelské útoky na Írán. Válka ochromila lodní dopravu v klíčovém Hormuzském průlivu, kterým běžně prochází asi pětina světových  dodávek ropy. Vyhlídky na ukončení konfliktu nebo znovuotevření průlivu podle analytiků stále zůstávají mizivé. Ministryně financí Alena Schillerová (ANO) už v pondělí oznámila, že regulace marží i snížení spotřební daně z nafty budou v Česku pokračovat i v květnu. Maximální přípustná marže obchodníků s palivy od května vzroste o 50 haléřů na tři koruny za litr. Vláda také upraví systém výpočtu denního cenového stropu na benzin a naftu. Opatření vyjde stát podle ministryně zhruba na miliardu korun měsíčně. Opozice prodloužení některých regulací kritizuje, podle ní narušují trh. Podle Schillerové má ale opatření pozitivní dopad na ceny dopravy a v důsledku toho i na celkovou inflaci.Podle poradce ministryně financí, ekonoma Milana Bednáře je potřeba počítat se zhoršováním vývoje ekonomiky: „Čím déle to trvá, tak ten prvotní šok do pohonných hmot, to jsou přímé dopady, se pak promítne do všeho ostatního. Protože na ropě je  závislé všechno. Ale nevypadá to tak, že bychom se měli dostat do situace jako v roce 2022 a 2023, kdy jsme měli dvoucifernou inflaci. Nejhorší scénáře, alespoň třeba podle  ministerstva financí, by znamenaly, že by tento rok inflace byla třeba kolem čtyř procent. Což ještě není totální katastrofa.“Bednář v Ptám se já komentoval také přípravu rozpočtu a to, jak může vláda snižovat vysoké schodky. Odmítl přitom kritiku Národní rozpočtové rady, která varovala před plánem vlády rozvolnit pravidla rozpočtové odpovědnosti. Podle šéfa rady Mojmíra Hampla tento krok vejde do dějin fiskální politiky. „Nevím, proč by to mělo vstupovat do dějin, to už mělo vstoupit do dějin za minulého období. Minulá vláda předpokládala, že tempo konsolidace by mělo být, s prominutím, tak brutální, že je to absolutně nereálné,“ reagoval poradce ministryně financí a dodal:„Chytří ekonomové řeknou: ‚Nedejte sociální dávky, seškrtejte důchody a všechno,“ pak by to šlo udělat. Ale z hlediska fungování státu by to byl takový zásek. Minulá vláda, a to je můj názor, řekla: ‚Podívejte se, my šetříme. Takhle bychom to zesekali. He began his journey in 1995 when he joined the Las Vegas Fire and Rescue Explorer Program. Directly out of high school, he worked for the Las Vegas Bureau of Land Management office as a wildland firefighter on a hand crew. From 1997 to 2002, he served as a reserve firefighter in Boulder City, Nev. Ryan joined Las Vegas Fire and Rescue as a firefighter in 2002. Throughout his career, he pursued further education and training, becoming an Honor Guard member in 2003 and serving as co-commander; an LVF&R Technical Rescue Team member in 2005; and a certified paramedic in 2006. He served as an Executive Board member for Local 1285 and chaired the EMS Committee for over 10 years. In 2014, Ryan was promoted to captain, serving Battalion 1 at Station 10. Ryan was promoted to battalion chief in January 2024 and serves LVF&R Battalion 10, B-Shift. He considers being a Blue Card lead instructor an honor and is proud to represent Big Al's legacy.
