Sofía Segovia (Monterrey, México, 1965) llega a Hablemos, escritoras después de su visita a la Feria del libro de Guadalajara 2025 para presentar su libro El murmullo de las abejas en su décimo aniversario. Su trayectoria como narradora marca la literatura con libros de ficción y no ficción. Nos cuenta que escribe el libro de un niño que aparece cubierto de abejas y que se convierte en vigia, en protector, para contar la historia de la Revolución Mexicana vista desde el norte del país y de una nana que cuida al niño. Conversamos tambien de sus libros Huracán y Peregrinos, de migración, de Prusia, de niños, de recuperar la historia del estado de Nuevo León de donde ella es originaria y donde llegaron tantos migrantes judios de Europa huyendo del nacismo. + Lectura de la Primera Carta del Apóstol san Juan 5, 14-21 Hijos míos: Tenemos plena confianza de que Dios nos escucha si le pedimos algo conforme a su voluntad. Y sabiendo que Él nos escucha en todo lo que le pedimos, sabemos que ya poseemos lo que le hemos pedido. El que ve a su hermano cometer un pecado que no lleva a la muerte, que ore y le dará la Vida. Me refiero a los que cometen pecados que no conducen a la muerte, porque hay un pecado que lleva a la muerte; por este no les pido que oren. Aunque toda maldad es pecado, no todo pecado lleva a la muerte. Sabemos que el que ha nacido de Dios no peca, sino que el Hijo de Dios lo protege, y el Maligno no le puede hacer nada. Sabemos que somos de Dios, y que el mundo entero está bajo el poder del Maligno. Y sabemos también que el Hijo de Dios ha venido y nos ha dado inteligencia para que conozcamos al que es Verdadero; y nosotros permanecemos en el que es Verdadero, en su Hijo Jesucristo. No hagamos como Caín, que era del Maligno y mató a su hermano. ¿Y por qué lo mató? Porque sus obras eran malas, y las de su hermano, en cambio, eran justas. No se extrañen, hermanos, si el mundo los aborrece. Nosotros sabemos que hemos pasado de la muerte a la Vida, porque amamos a nuestros hermanos. El que no ama permanece en la muerte. El que odia a su hermano es un homicida, y ustedes saben que ningún homicida posee la Vida eterna. En esto hemos conocido el amor: en que Él entregó su vida por nosotros. Por eso, también nosotros debemos dar la vida por nuestros hermanos. Si alguien vive en la abundancia, y viendo a su hermano en la necesidad, le cierra su corazón, ¿cómo permanecerá en él el amor de Dios? Hijitos míos, no amemos solamente con la lengua y de palabra, sino con obras y de verdad. En esto conoceremos que somos de la verdad, y estaremos tranquilos delante de Dios aunque nuestra conciencia nos reproche algo, porque Dios es más grande que nuestra conciencia y conoce todas las cosas.Palabra de Dios.

Quiso que nos llamáramos hijos de Dios, y nosotros lo somos realmente. Si el mundo no nos reconoce, es porque no lo ha reconocido a Él. Queridos míos, desde ahora somos hijos de Dios, y lo que seremos no se ha manifestado todavía. Sabemos que cuando se manifieste, seremos semejantes a Él, porque lo veremos tal cual es. Lectura de la primera carta de san Juan 2, 22-28Hijos míos: ¿Quién es el mentiroso, sino el que niega que Jesús es el Cristo? Ese es el Anticristo: el que niega al Padre y al Hijo. El que niega al Hijo no está unido al Padre; el que reconoce al Hijo también está unido al Padre. En cuanto a ustedes, permanezcan fieles a lo que oyeron desde el principio: de esa manera, permanecerán también en el Hijo y en el Padre. La promesa que Él nos hizo es esta: la Vida eterna. Esto es lo que quería escribirles acerca de los que intentan engañarlos. Pero la unción que recibieron de Él permanece en ustedes, y no necesitan que nadie les enseñe. Y ya que esa unción los instruye en todo y ella es verdadera y no miente, permanezcan en Él, como ella les ha enseñado. Sí, permanezcan en Él, hijos míos, para que cuando Él se manifieste, tengamos plena confianza, y no sintamos vergüenza ante Él en el Día de su Venida. Palabra de Dios.

Al enterarse sus vecinos y parientes de la gran misericordia con que Dios la había tratado, se alegraban con ella. A los ocho días, se reunieron para circuncidar al niño, y querían llamarlo Zacarías, como su padre; pero la madre dijo: «No, debe llamarse Juan.»Ellos le decían: «No hay nadie en tu familia que lleve ese nombre.»Entonces preguntaron por señas al padre qué nombre quería que le pusieran. Este pidió una pizarra y escribió: «Su nombre es Juan.»Todos quedaron admirados. Y en ese mismo momento, Zacarías recuperó el habla y comenzó a alabar a Dios.Este acontecimiento produjo una gran impresión entre la gente de los alrededores, y se lo comentaba en toda la región montañosa de Judea. Todos los que se enteraron guardaban este recuerdo en su corazón y se decían: «¿Qué llegará a ser este niño?» Porque la mano del Señor estaba con él.Palabra del Señor.

Su mujer, llamada Isabel, era descendiente de Aarón. Ambos eran justos a los ojos de Dios y seguían en forma irreprochable todos los mandamientos y preceptos del Señor. Pero no tenían hijos, porque Isabel era estéril; y los dos eran de edad avanzada.Un día en que su clase estaba de turno y Zacarías ejercía la función sacerdotal delante de Dios, le tocó en suerte, según la costumbre litúrgica, entrar en el Santuario del Señor para quemar el incienso. Toda la asamblea del pueblo permanecía afuera, en oración, mientras se ofrecía el incienso.Entonces se le apareció el Ángel del Señor, de pie, a la derecha del altar del incienso. Porque yo soy anciano y mi esposa es de edad avanzada.»El Ángel le respondió: «Yo soy Gabriel, el que está delante de Dios, y he sido enviado para hablarte y anunciarte esta buena noticia. Te quedarás mudo, sin poder hablar hasta el día en que sucedan estas cosas, por no haber creído en mis palabras, que se cumplirán a su debido tiempo.»Mientras tanto, el pueblo estaba esperando a Zacarías, extrañado de que permaneciera tanto tiempo en el Santuario. Cuando salió, no podía hablarles, y todos comprendieron que había tenido alguna visión en el Santuario. El se expresaba por señas, porque se había quedado mudo.Al cumplirse el tiempo de su servicio en el Templo, regresó a su casa. Poco después, su esposa Isabel concibió un hijo y permaneció oculta durante cinco meses.
