If you, like many chiropractic practices, are still exporting data and creating your own spreadsheets because you don't have the perfect dashboard. You may still have double data entry and no follow-up and follow-through process. Plus, the more moving parts, providers, and service centers, the more likely you will have patients fall through the cracks, wasted time creating spreadsheets, and frustrated staff. In this episode, I interview Dr. Naota Hashimoto of TrackStat about what stats you should be tracking, why you should be tracking them, and how this can help you cultivate a great chiropractic practice. Stats may not be sexy, but I am always shocked by how little most chiropractors know about their numbers, and it typically stems from not having an efficient system to track them and to decipher them. We also discuss many other aspects of chiropractic practice and the patient experience, given that Dr. Hashimoto built and ran a highly successful chiropractic practice. If you would like more information about TrackStat and how it can help you know your numbers and grow your practice, check out trackstat.org
In this episode we're joined by Dr. Naota Hashimoto, who started practicing chiropractic in Seattle and then started his own practice in Palm Springs. More recently, he started digging into data which led to the development of TrackStat. TrackStat is a patient tracking software which serves multiple purposes that benefit patients and practices. “Some people […]
This week the class goes back to an anime classic "FLCL". This coming-of-age story was originally created by Kazuya Tsurumaki and the staff of Gainax, Production I.G, and King Records. This brilliant sexually charged anime that's barely about sex follows our main protagonist "Naota" and his journey in learning how to become an adult. Along the way, we meet a wonderful wacky cast of characters and personalities that help balance and make this anime even weirder than any other show you've seen before. So tune in this week as we iron out those wrinkles, and hear what our thoughts are on this original anime classic and what themes we took away as being most important to us!
On this episode of TechTalk, Brad and Dr. Jay's talk with Dr. Naota Hashimoto, DC. Naota graduated from SCUHS (formally LACC), and with some hard work and mentorship, created a successful practice and at its peak, were collecting around 3.6 million per year with just 2.5 providers. Naota talks about how he has figured out many things to create a successful practice and heavily rely on successful systems knowing if he create repeatable processes in your office that can be executed by your team, life will be a lot easier. He found frustrations years ago from the lack of automated processes related to practice management software finding that a fair number of doctors and found similar issues with other practices. Even after using other third-party plugins for key performance metrics, he was still exporting data and creating his own spreadsheets because it wasn't the perfect dashboard. There was still double data entry, and none of it was attached to the follow-up and follow-through process. Plus, the more moving parts, providers, and service centers, the more likely he found patients falling through the cracks, wasted time creating spreadsheets, and frustrated staff. TrackStat software was designed from day 1 to provide a visual workflows for each user. It allows the clients to make decisions based on real data filtered down by various criteria to make an effective decision based on data rather than gut feelings. With this tool, our clients could boost their weekly production by 10 to 20 percent with about 15 minutes of effort per day.
We review FLCL. We're taking you back to the 2003 era of Adult Swim anime with the show that goes by many names: FLCL, Fooly Cooly, and Furi Kuri. But what exactly is "furi kuri?" What is this show even about? And why does Naota sprout mechs out of his head every time he's turned on? We attempt (and struggle) to answer all these questions and explain one of the most inexplicable anime. It's the fabled lost FLCL episode! Due to some unfortunate audio issues the planned January episode couldn't be posted so I reached into our archives and figured it would be a good time to share this one. Resident good friend Gus comes back to talk about FLCL, Toonami and late 90s early 00s anime in the west, The Pillows are great, Gus' double puberty, identity and filling someone else's shoes, rad AF spin kicks, how Ninamori and Naota both perform maturity, those eyebrows, episode 4 got dark there for a minute, "You titty touchin?", Naota becomes his own person (and sometimes that person is a dick), the gunslinger robot and hands in anime, "Isn't that too obvious?", fun facts that aren't that fun, and wants and needs interacting in complicated ways. Also mentioned in this episode: Fullmetal Alchemist Teenagers From Outerspace Mindful Self Indulgence is hosted, produced and recorded by Dan Ellis. Intro and Outro music on every episode is also by written, performed and recorded by Dan Ellis.
Today we discuss the crazy wonderful experience of being jumped emotionally by a show called FLCL. Grimm is convinced this cake metaphor is going to pay off. Alfonso is just trying to live his life in another universe. Jeff presses on the idea of Naota getting into Haru's pants. Anime Mentions: Medaka Box Evangelion FLCL (OFCOURSE) Parasyte Rick and Morty Futurama Silverspoon Usagi Drop Barakamon
