We are set for one of the biggest NCAA cross-country weekends before championship season approaches. The top teams in the country are split between Charlottesville, Virginia for the XC23 Pre-Nationals and Madison, Wisconsin for the Nuttycombe Invitational. Preparation continues for the Buffs second straight road trip to the northwest this weekend as the Buffs head to No. 15 Washington State. Hear from Wazzu coach Mike Leach, CU linebacker Drew Lewis and wide receiver Bryce Bobo. Bobo and tennis’ Linda Huang were named UCHealth CU Athletes of the Week. The women’s cross country team fell to No. 3 and the men improved to No. 5 after both took runner up finishes at Pre-Nationals last weekend. Volleyball hosts the LA schools this week and soccer the Arizona schools.
It was a solid weekend for the Buffaloes. The football team ended a three game slide with a 36-33 win at Oregon State Saturday. Hear from coach Mike MacIntyre and Isaiah Oliver. The volleyball team earned two road wins in Arizona over the Sun Devils and Wildcats. Soccer fell at No. 6 USC and both cross country teams finished second at the Pre-Nationals meet. Soccer hosts it’s final two home games of the season this weekend and the volleyball team hosts the LA schools. Football heads to Washington State.
