You may now know, but I was born and raised in Italy primarily by my single Brazilian mom and moved to the States at age 10. It was a major adjustment and culture shock for me. The finale of this 3-part series conversation with guest host, Master Life Coach Ralph Ruiz we will help you understand how I consciously designed a life in alignment with my Soul purpose. My past trauma instilled in me a drive to work hard (to fit in) and be successful and it was only much later in life, through trauma healing that I understood how that trauma deeply affected me. Listen to this episode where I share my motivation behind this podcast and how I hope to help others rip out the veils of illusion and let the light shine through in their lives so that they can reach their fullest potential in this lifetime. HIGHLIGHT QUOTES CELINNE: Resolve your past to design your future "All of these external carrots that I was chasing to prove myself worthy was just a product, a byproduct of my conditioning and my trauma and my unresolved trauma that I didn't have the tools to deal with. I didn't have the know-how. I didn't have the support. And unfortunately, this is the reality for most of our planet. We're walking around with the psyche of traumatized children in adult bodies." CELINNE: Let go of your baggage and follow your soul "There comes a point where all the duffel bags you're carrying, all the baggage you're carrying, you actually can choose to just open your hands and let it go. And there comes a point where the journey isn't about you getting to the top of the mountain so that everybody can know that you're at the top of the mountain and they can applaud you for being on top of the mountain." CELINNE: Past belief systems need not drive you anymore "The title It's Not What You Think came from the space of what if it's not our belief systems, our past belief systems, that need to drive the car. What if it gets to be your soul that's in the driver seat? What are you pretending not to see? What belief system are, you're indulging in that might not necessarily be true?" MEET RALPH RUIZ Ralph is a Master Life Coach and Master Hypnotist. He understands the true struggles and challenges of living with chronic (persistent) pain. He coaches others on how to create true healing if that's what you are looking for, but he also specializes in other areas of your life. Ralph is a true professional who has lived with pain, who has healed from pain, and who has a deep understanding of how pain impacts all areas of your life. To everyone else, it's just pain, and only those who have struggled with it truly understand how it harms your relationships, challenges your self-esteem, and debilitates your career. Ralph dedicates his professional life to giving others what his own mentor gave him, which was the guidance, space, and support necessary to reclaim control of your life. My transformational journey is unraveled as I share how I broke away from the corporate hamster wheel. What most people don't know is that despite my success, I was yearning to redesign my life from scratch. It was during this time that I challenged myself and volunteered in a Cambodian orphanage, a life-changing experience that eventually catalyzed my journeys around the world and the creation of my coaching business. This is part 1 of the conversation with guest host, Master Life Coach Ralph Ruiz – my first life coach. Listen to this episode to uncover the behind-the-scenes of a story I've never told. HIGHLIGHT QUOTES CELINNE: Meeting Ralph sparked an awakening for something more "There's got to be something more to life. I cannot believe that I've just worked my ass off for pretty much the better portion of my adolescence and young adult life just to be in a position where I'm living out the same game every day and I'm definitely not doing the things that I'm passionate about, such as traveling and writing and getting my adventuring and meeting people." CELINNE: 2 weeks in Cambodia provided the shock needed to wake up "I do truly believe that an event that big needed to happen to literally shock me into accessing my heart space, and for me to be in my heart space for those 2 weeks completely reorganized me like a caterpillar just reconfiguring within the cocoon." At the crossroads, I took the biggest risk of my life and chose to dream. I left my corporate career in New York City to travel the world and rediscover myself. This is part 2 of the 3-episode series where I am interviewed by guest host, Master Life Coach Ralph Ruiz. In this episode, I recall a time when my life was falling apart and my decision to leave behind everything I'd ever known to explore what more life had to offer. My journey was a social experiment where I dared to circumnavigate the world through the power of human connection and couch surfing through the homes of 70+ strangers. Despite all the uncertainty, I became a columnist for Forbes to document my entire journey and quickly gathered a loyal audience following by sharing my stories. Listen to this episode on living beyond fear and deconstructing old belief systems to design and live the life you're truly here to experience. HIGHLIGHT QUOTES RALPH: Create your reality; two realities can't occupy the same space "They say two things cannot occupy the same space, two realities cannot occupy the same space, two energies cannot occupy the same space. Make sense that, at this point, there would be a destruction, a destruction of the old you and destruction of your old desires like the promotion, and from there came the creation and stepping into that role, but being a creator in your life." CELINNE: Being fearless vs living courageously "Every time we are at the edge of our comfort, it's a very natural response for us to be afraid, to be fearful of leaping into the unknown, of doing something different or breaking out of our old habit patterns and going from familiar to unfamiliar, to comfortable to uncomfortable. So it's not about living fearless, it's about living courageously." CELINNE: Old belief systems may not serve your highest good "When you start to question your old belief systems and your conditioning, and you start running it against the filter of what you really want in your heart, like what is your soul essence? You start to see that there are some things, a lot of things, that you might be engaging in your life or believing that don't actually serve your highest good." Chris & Muireadhach sit down with special guest Ralph Ruiz and they discuss How Does God Talk to Us. It’s a conversation that started on an airplane and ended as a podcast episode that covers God using signs to talk to us, not all signs are from God, warnings from a dream that prevent a tragic event, how good a listener you are, the importance of highway signs and the distractions of billboards. Brady Mavetz is 24 years old, from the suburbs of Minnesota and raised in a supportive family. Became very competitive in his youth. He wasn’t sure of what career to go into, so he trained to be an Engineer only to discover that it wasn’t his passion. He pushed through the program because he thought it was what people wanted him to do. He was operating under the assumption that it took hard work that determined his value. He holds this mentality responsible for leading him into disease. Here are some key points within the interview. I asked him, why spread this message and this is what he said. Part of recovering from an “incurable disease”, when you're in it, the fear that you can never get out of the clutches of that reality can be quite scary. He mentions needing many testimonials in order to believe that it was actually possible. He wondered, how could the mind be possible for controlling physical pain?He discusses his choice to have Arthroscopic hip surgery performed, which led to a year of rehab and no improvement. When he began taking Biologics he went from a 8 or 9 in pain down to 7 or 6. Switched to Enbrel which helped a little more but not much. Was working with Ralph Ruiz for a couple weeks and was getting fearful because he still felt pain. Ralph offered this advice “just imagine that this program doesn’t work for you, that you have already failed” and within a week Brady’s pain had gone down significantly. Brady realized he was putting too much pressure on himself. Brady goes on to say, don’t resist emotion as it comes up. It has nothing to do with reality. The more he sat with these uncomfortable emotions, the easier it became. A lot of the pain comes up because of the resistance to feeling and allowing this emotion to be there. He is learning to trust himself more rather than trying to produce himself through the eyes of other people Go to 41:50 to hear Brady describe how bizarre it is to feel pain disappear by essentially doing nothing but admitting to thoughts and emotions. His belief was that nothing is easy, so he was over complicating everything, over thinking and it turns out it was much easier than he could imagine and it didn’t really involve thinking. He learned what was required was to let the fear of not knowing what he was doing be there. To let it be there. Go to 46:40 where he sums it all up. What he says here is what can be learned from pain and discomfort. 49:00 How working with a coach can be helpful. 51:35 What someone may learn if they started training in mind body work. 55:25 Listen to this. 58:35 How he is doing now. Getting off all medication.1:11:20 If you are questioning the validity of the mind body connection. My email address eisner00@gmail.comRalph's Website. https://ralphitness.comCheck out his Michael Brown Interview. Always a pleasure talking with Nisse. Everytime I learn so much. He has a deep understanding of how Mindbody healing works. He has come a long way from the loss of his father, brutal back pain and extreme sciatica. He has learned to be aware of his thoughts and feelings and says that’s pretty much what it means to heal. He is stronger than ever. Listen closely and take in what this man has to say. He graduated with a bachelor of Physiotherapy and is now working in a private physiotherapy practice in Perth. He has an AS Diagnosis. Symptoms came on when he was 16 and took years to get the diagnosis. In the progressing onset of AS his ability to play basketball which he loved was greatly diminished. He was on various pharmaceuticals and deeply entrenched in a no starch diet. He followed Ralph Ruiz ended up training with Ralph and healed himself using Mind-Body techniques. This episode is loaded with insight. It was a real pleasure meeting with Ashley over skype and making this episode! This is me interviewed by Simon Schmid on his podcast “Back Pain Movement” In this episode I tell how AS affected me for 26 years and how I got better. Symptoms started when I was around 10 years old and I was diagnosed at 18. I was on Arthrotec, Celebrex and other NSaids as well as Sulphasalazine on and off for years. I resisted taking medication and was very eager to try out many different ways to reduce inflammation naturally. It wasn’t until I meet Ralph Ruiz, Sky Denton and coached with Peter Winslow that I realized I had been treating the symptoms and not the cause. All these guys determined the cause of their disease and addressed it through the mind body connection and are now living normal lives. This inspired me to do the same. Today I am healthier than ever. I am excited to spread this message so that people who are interested in getting better in this way know they have an option.Below are links to Simon Schmid’s podcast, Peter Winslow, Ralph Ruiz, Sky Denton and me.
