She's Gotta Have it has evolved into They Gotta Have It in S1E13; as we see the cast in this episode driven by primitive sexual instincts. Toni uses her Tracker-Jacker (shout out to Rue, Hunger Games) to track down her ex, Greg, for a love affair that will only end in heartache again. We see a different side of Toni that is willing to risk it all for the phallus! Yvonne and William are getting it on, and she informs the girls that William has great dic-ta-tion....which brings forth a question, do you share intimate details about your mate with your friend? Finally, our girl Joan is in love...but he's a sex addict. Margaret and I delve into the possibility of meeting and dating someone who has an addiction. Have you dated a partner with an addiction? What was your experience? What should women be wary of or should we never venture down this road. Well, the cases of Corona are increasing here in NOLA, so girl we know you're keeping your healthy self at home. So pour you a glass of Presco and chill with us for a moment! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/risebeautifulsoul/message

Tania talks about turning inward and listening to one's inner voice when there are so many external forces trying to tell us what to think, say and feel. She had a doozy of a cab ride from hell with a self-proclaimed probably racist "historian" and she saw the controversial Slave Play by Jeremy O. Harris. Both experiences pushed her to think about her identity, how she presents as an antiracist and how important it is to follow you true north. Plus some thoughts on a great episode of Spike Lee's Netflix series "She's Gotta Have it" called #IAMYourMirror. Like us on FB @taniastake on Instagram Also on iTunes and Stitcher

He moved to NYC to pursue his career in 1985, quickly partnering with Lee, as the Production Supervisor on the legendary 12 day shooting schedule of She's Gotta Have It. Ross credits the film with launching his career. Over the next 17 years, his roles at 40 Acres and a Mule Productions were multi-faceted, from Production Assistant to Vice President of Production; in 1991, Ross even starred in the Lee, student Academy Award winning film: Joe's Bed-Stuy Barbershop - We Cut Heads. While co-producing a film each year, he also produced ad campaigns for brands such as Nike's Air Jordans and Levi's 501 campaign, as well as music videos for artists such as Stevie Wonder and Prince. He worked on the NYC production Inside Man, starring Denzel Washington, Clive Own and Jodie Foster, which was Lee's highest grossing film to date. Ross, before returning to serve as 40 Acres' Special Project Coordinator, along with Adam C. Powell, III, Adam C.
