Alex and Connor review McG's sci-fi adventure film - "Rim of the World." Connor explains the positive side of the kid-centered, moral teachings of the movie, while Alex sticks to the negative, dwelling on things like the CGI, nonsensical story telling, and stereotypical character development. While both acknowledge the movie's pitfalls, Connor and Alex determine if the movie's Rotten Tomatoes score is too harsh and give it a rating of their own.

This week, Sonny talks to Zack Stentz (“X-Men: First Class,” “Thor,” “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”) about his work with Netflix on the film “Rim of the World” and the hit new show, “Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.” What’s it like pitching the service that has everything? How is the world of TV evolving as different streaming services aim for different markets? And how can filmmakers working with kids protect them from being exploited?

Whenever beer chugging is in the mainstream news, we tend to talk about it on the show. Chugging in the outside world should be celebrated! So tonight we start things off by making fun of Aaron Rodgers and his disastrous attempt to chug a beer at an NBA game. Turns out he’s just as overrated as a drinker as he is as an NFL quarterback. And I’m NOT just saying that because I’m a lifelong Chicago Bears fan, one thing has nothing to do with the other. So we kick this episode off by me chugging two beers to show Mr. Fancy Pants how it’s done and with an opening kickoff like this… there was no doubt that tonight was […] The post Episode 97 – Rim Of the World (2019), La Meridiana & San’Doro cigars, Save The World beers appeared first on Tuesday Night Cigar Club.
Vegas Film Critic (Jeffrey K. Howard) reviews Rim of the World.
Matte ger sina tankar om uppföljaren Godzilla II: King of the monsters.

Up from the depth, 30 stories tall, he breathes fire, and is king of them all... That's right, bitches: there's a new Godzilla movie out this weekend, and that's a reason to celebrate! And Jason and Shawn intend to do just that as From The Basement returns with a new extended cut podcast that will surely pleasure your ear holes! Not only do you get this morning's Radio NL segment, where Jason, Shawn and Howie talk Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Rocketman and Ma -- not to mention trash Trump, select Chris Pine as the man who should play Ozzie in the inevitable biopic, and rundown what to watch on TV this week -- but you get a slew of reviews as well. Shawn's seen Netflix's latest, the alien invasion flick Rim of the World, and Jay's watched the creepy kid flick The Prodigy. What'd they think? Stick with us! And stick around, as The Basement Boys catch the latest Small Town Monsters documentary Terror in the Skies, which is about Mothman and other winged creature sightings in the heartland of America. Is it good stuff? They'll let you know. Naturally that's not all that goes down the episode, but you'll have to push play and tune in to hear it. So do so... right now! Lønsj' mobilsvar: 73 88 14 80 / Epost: l@nrk.no Alt godt! Rune & Torfinn
My thoughts on HBO tv series called Barry, Netflix’s original movie Rim of the World. NBA finals, Twisted Sister’s “We’re Not Gonna Take It.” Also my new sound effects machine.Support the show (http://Patreon.com/fuzzysoundspodcast)
Puss hej!

*FILMS DISCUSSED: BRIGHTBURN, BOOKSMART, RIM OF THE WORLD, PUMP, TERMINATOR DARK FATE, ANNABELLE COMES HOME* Dan Van Kirk is back to talk films with two old nerds. Dan and Chris were let down by Brightburn. Graham had fun watching Booksmart. Rim of the World gave Chris a premise hangover. Graham liked the doc Pump, even with some disclaimers. This episode is better than seeing Graveyard Abortion live!
This week Brightburn, Rim of the World, Game of Thrones: The Last Watch, Lonely Island's The Unauthorized Bash Brothers Experience, Terminator Dark Fate, Between Two Ferns, Rocketman, the internet doesn't want David Benioff and DB Weiss near Star Wars, Deadpool and Spider-Man BFFs and a quiz Tom is VERY good at.
