Sonny is a man of many colours and we have to celebrate his charming self with all his quirkiness and perhaps his indifference of opinions at times. From the christian upbringing and personal exploration to questioning the ease of obtaining sex, Sonny opens ups about his sex life and where he is now as an 18 year old. Join the conversation as we dive into the world of personal preferences, from red trousers to an unexpected love for chicken nuggets, creating a space where no topic is off-limits. This episode evolves into an exploration of first times, contrasting the blurry haze of drunk encounters with the clarity of sober experiences, and addresses the lingering emotions that sometimes follow moments of intimacy. We explore the power dynamics of control versus submission, daringly using provocative language like "slag" to ignite discussions about personal choices and societal expectations. Have you ever felt like a sheep following the herd in the realm of relationships? We discuss the idea of masculinity and I break his heart when I tell him that women do fake orgasm and a toy should be celebrated rather than thinking you're not good enough. Tune in for an episode that challenges norms, sparks conversations, and ultimately celebrates the diversity of human interaction.

Sheeza Hussain is the Chief Commercial Officer of Biofourmis which is developing a hospital-at-home model for health systems that is even more in demand due to the stress of COVID-19 patients. In addition to acute care, Biofourmis is also applying its remote monitoring technology to post-acute and chronic care. Sheeza explains, "When we think about hospital-at-home, we think about acute level type care-at-home. It's not about being cared for exactly as you would be in a hospital. But it's for those patients who still, for all intents and purposes, need to be monitored and need to be admitted to a hospital. But instead, they get to go home. They get monitoring equipment, they get to go to the comfort of their own bed, and they're still visited by clinicians or physicians every day in person as is a requirement for some of the reimbursement." "So when it comes to hospital-at-home, it's about in our case, a patch and we're device agnostic. We offer a patch that the patient wears on their chest, and it is continuously capturing data, things like the single-lead ECG, heart rate, respiratory rate. And that is feeding our analytics engine and allowing us to be able to establish a personalized baseline for each and every patient." @Biofourmis #HospitalatHome #RemoteCare #CareatHome #PatientMonitoring #PostAcute #ChronicCare #Hospitals Biofourmis.com Download the transcript here

Recently in Lafayette IN (home of our podcast), racial tensions flared due to separate events. There was angry debate, along with substantive discussions. Hate groups had posted racist signs and flyers in prominent places, and two groups were booked to appear locally that many believed to be racist performers. To counter all that, a group of musicians have decided to perform in a show called "No Time To Hate" at the Lafayette Theater. We spoke to one of those performers, Christopher Lee from the Grateful Dead cover band, Graciously Departed. We talked about the band and its upcoming gigs, especially No Time To Hate, and the idea behind the show. It's something other communities could do to help ease tensions and promote positivity. We end with a song from one of the participating acts, Sheeza, a brilliant band with a desire for social justice that comes from the heart.
Sheeza Shah is the Founder and CEO of UpEffect, a crowdfunding and support platform for companies dedicated to improving lives and the planet. Her company has become the go-to platform for entrepreneurs who are driven not by how much money they can make, but how many lives they can impact. UpEffect’s recent products have ranged from ethical fashion brands to solar cookstoves — from clean drinking water systems to eco-friendly carry bags. To date, UpEffect’s enterprise-solution approach and campaign-consultant model led by Sheeza has driven their 100% success rate at securing funding for their campaigns, raising over £220,000 to launch products and impact lives across ten countries. This is incredible considering Kickstarter’s success rate is 43% and Indiegogo’s success rate hovers just under 10%. Sheeza was named to Computer Weekly’s ‘Most Influential Women in Tech’, Asians in Tech’s ‘Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech 2017′, CauseArtist’s ’37 Social Entrepreneurs to Watch in 2017′, and DotEveryone’s ’12 top female tech founders’ by Baroness Martha Lane Fox. She’s also an Asian Women of Achievement Award nominee. Bottom line—Sheeza is a brilliant woman and entrepreneur. I can’t wait for you to hear our conversation. Super helpful stuff! Sheeza Shah goal is to improve lives and improve the environment. She founded a crowdfunding company called UpEffect. UpEffect works to support sustainable, high impact revolutionary products that are making a difference in people's lives. Her platform as a 100% success rate because they work with these companies to help them market their idea. Other crowd funding platforms have high rates of failure because the people using these platforms do not realize the work it takes to bring these campaigns to the market. Sheeza is leveraging technology to provide support for social enterprises. As a Muslim woman she finds that her faith grounds her in her work. She attributes her faith to her desire to prioritize creating value for people before creating value for herself. Sheeza is very critical of companies who claim to be doing good, but do not have the metrics to back that up. What she looks for in the companies she supports is what data are they using to know that they are changing the world. The look at the 1.The strength of the entrepreneur and their team. 2.The impact metrics they are using 3.What is their business model Companies that do not meet these criteria do not make it on to the platform. She wants to ensure that these companies are in the best position to succeed. One of the key things she emphasizes is that no one should be able to beat you in terms of knowledge in the business you are building. Entrepreneurs need to understand their clients and build their business around that understanding. Their habits, the problems they face, and the needs they have. Her goal is to inspire and support entrepreneurs in their goal to come forward with solutions and to take those ideas to market so they can disrupt these various marketplaces. Building a company is not easy. Sheeza points out that although she has experienced many failures she sees these failures are learning opportunities. For her knowing that it is okay to restart your business model has been an important lesion for her. Sheeza is a 4-piece band that performs in the midwest. Claire and Courtney Tchoula of that band stopped by. We discussed their approach to their music, which includes originals and an eclectic list of covers. As musical and off-stage partners, they have forged a harmonious relationship that informs their music. They have performed numerous benefits, including for Pride and Bernie Sanders. Those performances demonstrate their commitment to issues beyond music. They're a band you should know. Follow them on Facebook and get to a Sheeza gig now! To whet your appetite, they performed a couple new items in our cozy little DIY studio. Enjoy.
John Bower aka Johnny BHive is a treasure of a songwriter, now spending most of his time in Nashville. He talked about that town, and its diverse music scene. We discussed his personal growth, how the ups-and-downs have impacted his writing, and how changes in the music industry have changed his approach to the business. He shared with us the process by which he and his partner write songs, and about the decision-making process to take a country direction with his new release "Through My Eyes', and we heard a sample from the album called "Remember Me", a song inspired by his experience in a failed relationship. I call it "country with depth". You will too.
Moving Millennials | Oxygen For A Generation Of Game-Changers
The Millennial Generation is often criticized as being one that expects instant results. That is why Persistence is worth more today than ever before. The journey to becoming an author isn’t one that happens overnight. It requires months and months of lots of hard work, with little to show for it. Sheeza knows this first hand. In today’s episode Sheeza takes us inside the world of her book, The Sky Realm, and explains how Persistence is one of the primary lessons she sought out to teach through her writing. It’s been an amazing week with Sheeza. It’s so inspiring to chat with a 25-year-old with serious passion, commitment, and dedication. What if it’s not good enough? What if nobody wants to read it? What if I can’t sell it? What if I wasted an entire year of my life on a book that isn’t worth anything? What if I’m not a good enough writer? These are all questions that started to pop up for Sheeza throughout her writing journey. In today’s conversation we talk about how she flipped the Doubt into Confidence by changing the nature of the questions she asked herself. Thanks for tuning in, subscribing, and spreading the word.
