Try not to bash into the walls too much. Try to have a nice family life, have fun, save a little money. That’s a very limited life. Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact, and that is – everything around you that you call life, was made up by people that were no smarter than you. And you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use. The minute that you understand that you can poke life and actually something will, you know if you push in, something will pop out the other side, that you can change it, you can mold it. That’s maybe the most important thing. It’s to shake off this erroneous notion that life is there and you’re just gonna live in it, versus embrace it, change it, improve it, make your mark upon it. I think that’s very important and however you learn that, once you learn it, you’ll want to change life and make it better, cause it’s kind of messed up, in a lot of ways. Once you learn that, you’ll never be the same again.” ~Steve Jobs Here’s the deal. Your hands move the visible. Your mind moves the invisible. EVERYTHING is play dough. Go play. We focus in on one of these topics every day in the FB group (Monday - Friday):     Mind The cause-substance of all that is. Your mind creates your matter, so your mind matters. Elevate your consciousness, and you elevate the collective. Master your mind, master your life.     Movement The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are. Starting is everything. Motion gives you critical feedback. To move is to change location or position. Move your mind. Move your ideas. Move your body. Move your emotions. Move your soul. Move others.     Money The great facilitator. Money is neither good nor bad. It’s a tool. Just like a hammer it can be used to destruct or design, crumble or create. Money is the cars on the road, and you are the director of traffic. This way, that way, stop, start. It can be fluid like a river, stagnant like a pond, or dry like a desert. You always get to choose.     Meaning It’s not something you find or discover. Meaning is chosen, created, and shared. It’s depth is infinite, it’s details are ever-evolving. Choose it, clarify it, simplify it. Use it as a guide for all actions and all decisions. Let it fuel you, and serve others.       Mastery Competing with others is tiresome. Competing with yourself is energizing. Cultivate your inherent genius. Let go of hierarchy, operate from your own territory. Begin with self-awareness, continue with self-development, seek self-mastery.     If you’re not in it already, you’ll want to join our Facebook Group. He believes in the importance of education and the power of hip-hop to connect with young people in a meaningful way. This allows him to effectively convey the value of academics, passion, and other tools of success that will help teens achieve their goals. Throughout the episode we chat about the following: • The Law of Assumption and the role it plays in your life • Why Imagination and Attention are two of your highest ‘mental faculties' • Why you have less ‘free will’ than you think • How to use the free will that you do have to manifest lasting change in your life You’ll want to make sure you listen all the way to the end as Dr. B wraps this up with a sweet surprise. Subscribe on iTunes, Soundcloud, Stitcher Radio.   It’s been nearly a year since I’ve produced and published a podcast. A LOT has happened since the last episode (including the birth of my son, Brady). Thank you for waiting patiently (I know you’ve done nothing except refresh the Moving Millennials podcast feed on your iPhone since last August). In today’s episode I share what I’ve been up to for the past year, and talk a little bit about what Moving Millennials will look like moving forward.    You’ll also notice that I tried something completely new (and scary) for this episode. I recorded the episode WHILE I was on Facebook Live. This means the show is interactive and is a hybrid of a live talk radio show and a pre-recorded podcast. Would LOVE your feedback on how this works (or doesn’t). Send an email over to dave@movingmillennials.com.    The question of the episode was asked by Desiree Diaz. She wanted to know: "How do you personally push through and stay engaged or find motivation when things get crowded/busy? Where have you found your mojo to bounce back?"   This was a GREAT question and I did my best to give a direct answer.    LOTS of cool resources and links came out during the show today. Here they are in no particular order:    1) Learn about Josh Shipp - Josh is a Teen Behaviour Expert, and the founder of Youth Speaker University - an online program that teaches people how to build a business impacting youth inside the speaking industry. He’s absolutely brilliant. Josh is also the founder of Top Youth Speakers - a small (and mighty) crew of professionals in the youth speaking industry, endorsed and mentored by Josh. At the end of 2015, Blake and I joined the Top Youth Speakers team with our My Life Online business. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and we feel like we’re JUST scratching the surface of what’s possible.    2) At the end of may, I had the absolute honour of opening Peta Kelly’s event - “The New Way LIVE” - in Scottsdale, AZ. Peta has become one of my greatest mentors in business and in life. If you’re not following her online, I suggest you start. Begin with her Facebook page. The event featured Peta and 3 other phenomenal keynote speakers. Joel Brown, Alexi Panos, and Preston Smiles. Follow them too. EXCEPTIONAL millennials who I promise to have on the show in the coming months.    I believe that does it for the links and resources.    To download the Moving Millennials Manifesto and ebook, visit the site and subscribe using your email address.    If you’re not in it already, you’ll want to join our Facebook Group. Chris is one of the most intelligent people I’ve come across. He walks his own path, questions everything is and is a brilliant critical thinker. Money and Currency. Same thing, right? Maybe not. Today, as we continue our Back to Basics series, I discuss the difference between Currency and Money and do my best to communicate why this is so important to understand.    Mike Maloney has taught me so much about monetary history through his book ‘Rich Dad’s s Guide to Investing in Gold and Silver’, his YouTube series ‘The Hidden Secrets of Money’, and the endless content on his blog at GoldSilver.com.   Mike believes that the best investment you can make is in your own financial education, and I completely agree.   I try to cover a lot of ground today, and would love to hear your feedback, comments, and questions. Every once in a while, it makes a lot of sense to go back and cover some of the basic concepts that lie at the heart of what we do.    A few years ago I was fortunate enough to be part of an online community called The Elevation Group. The focus of EVG was to bring cutting edge, outside-the-box financial education and investment strategies to the middle class. I voraciously consumed the content in this group. I watched the videos, I took copious notes, and I learned a lot.   Of everything I learned inside EVG, the lesson about The 4 Asset Classes and Real Diversification was the most important. Although this is a Back to Basics show, this lesson is somewhat outside-the-box, and one that I believe a lot of people need to hear.    If you can, bring out your notebook once again and follow along. Once you listen to the episode, send any questions, comments, and feedback directly to me.   Thanks for tuning in. It’s time to go back and cover some basics. Robert Kiyosaki’s Cashflow Quadrant is one of the simpler concepts to understand, yet it’s it had more impact on my professional life than almost any other idea.    I remember the first time I read ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’, and got the part about the Cashflow Quadrant. All of a sudden my path felt more clear, and since that day, I've never looked at work the same way.   For many of you this may be a review. That’s okay. Don’t underestimate the power in revisiting some of these basic concepts. For those of you discovering this idea for the very first time, I’m wildly excited for you.    As we grow The Liberty Network it’s so important that all of the members fully understand ideas like this one.   This is a pen and paper type of episode (if you’re in the space to write). Enjoy the show, and please continue to share your feedback with me via email.   In today’s episode, you will learn:   The difference between the left-hand and right-hand side of the quadrant How to move from the left to the right without jeopardizing your current position and security The advantages of Business Ownership What the ‘Self-Employed Trap’ is and how to move beyond it The meaning of leverage, and why most ‘Business Owners’ are lacking it What it means to ‘scale’ a business and why scalability is so important The concept of the Evolved Economy and why it’s a GREAT place to play Examples of some the world’s most successful ‘Evolved Economy’ businesses   Resources Discussed   BOOK: Rich Dad, Poor Dad     Visit http://www.movingmillennials.com/138 for complete show notes, to download The Manifesto, and to receive your free ebook, 'The Millennial Mentors: Volume 1'.

It’s for young people who realize that salaries and wages aren’t keeping pace with increased cost of living. It’s for young people who want to leave the 9 to 5 once and for all, jump out of debit, and into total freedom.    Tune in as I discuss the 3 problems that are driving us inside The Liberty Network, and introduce the 4-Step Roadmap to Total Freedom.    If you want to learn more by watching the 3-part video series that covers the details of The Liberty Network, email me directly at dave@movingmillennials.com and write ‘The Liberty Network’ in the subject line.   This is the beginning of what I believe to be my most important and most valuable work to date. I would love for you to be part of it. Thanks for tuning in. Until next time, do what moves you.   Resources Discussed   Mike Maloney’s ‘Hidden Secrets of Money' Chris Duane’s ‘The Greatest Truth Never Told'     Visit http://www.movingmillennials.com/137 for complete show notes, to download The Manifesto, and to receive your free ebook, 'The Millennial Mentors: Volume 1'.

Here we are with Part 4 of my invitation to at least consider a vegan lifestyle. The primary focus today? You. Your health. Disease. Why the consumption of animal protein is the root cause of so many of diseases penetrating our society today.   The secondary focus for today’s episode? Our planet. Our home. The root cause of world hunger? Animal agriculture.   I’ve come to realize that for me, creating REAL health, involves eating in a way that is healthy for me, healthy for others (this includes animals), and healthy for the planet. If what I’m eating isn’t healthy for the planet, it isn’t healthy for me.   Tune in, and let me know what you think (make sure you start with Part 1) Where are you at with this invitation.
