Kristen sits down with author Mayukh Sen to talk all about Merle Oberon, the subject of Sen's latest book, Love, Queenie: Merle Oberon, Hollywood's First South Asian Star. Cinema Junkie offers up some quarantine viewing options that provide escapism. First up, TCM Classic Film Festival had to cancel its Hollywood event but has moved it to its TCM cable channel for a Home Edition that anyone can enjoy while sheltering at home. Charles Tabesh, senior vice president in charge of programming at Turner Classic Movies, previews the festival. The Nora Fiore, author of the Nitrate Diva blog, highlights the best screwball comedies to take your mind off the coronavirus pandemic. She suggests some well-known classics as well as under-appreciated gems. Plus enjoy a rendition of "The Good Ship Lollipop" that will delight and surprise you.

Vegas Film Critic (Jeffrey K. Howard) reviews the TCM Classic Film Festival from Hollywood.

It's our final installment in this coverage of the TCM Classic Film Fest. For this last minisode, Lady P and Kristen Sales are talking Cock... Cock of the Air (1932), that is. Produced by Howard Hughes, Cock of the Air is a bawdy Pre-Code comedy/adventure flick that serves primarily as a showcase for actress Billie Dove and her ample (ahem) talents. And in keeping with the sexual objectification theme, the gals take a good gander at the David Farrar shapely gams, which really popped in the new Academy nitrate print of Black Narcissus (1947). Then the gals take a trip to Florida, and chat about the wonderful Preston Sturges screwball comedy, The Palm Beach Story (1942) and debate which of Sturges films is the sexiest. Finally, they offer some closing thoughts on this year's "Make em Laugh" theme.
