This week on Pour Minds, Lex P and Drea Nicole are back with a solo episode that quickly spirals into one of their funniest debates yet: why young people with old names always seem to act up. From Harriet, Bernice, and Bartholomew to whether “Rubi” only works if you add the Rose, the ladies play the ultimate Name Game—and even reveal the cringey “dream baby names” they came up with back in the day. The laughs don’t stop there. Lex and Drea unpack Kash Doll’s natural-hair era, argue over whether juniors should exist for women, and side-eye folks who keep their last name after marriage. Then it’s time for our very first Business Spotlight with Jalisa, founder of Salt XO, the feminine wellness brand changing the game. Jalisa shares how she went from making soap in her college dorm to running a 7-year powerhouse brand with viral TikTok products. From waxing aftercare and scar-fading oils, to libido-boosting shower gels and even booty deodorant, she breaks down what makes Salt XO so effective—and why every woman (and her man) needs it. Of course, the Pour Minds couch keeps it messy and fun with candid girl talk about hygiene routines, sex aftercare, and why boric acid suppositories might just be the real MVP. This week on Pour Minds, we’re signing a peace treaty… but don’t get it twisted. This episode is all about clapping back vs. choosing calm, and navigating this wild digital world without losing your mind (or your account). Lex and Drea are joined by the hilarious KevOnStage, and it’s a laugh-packed sit-down full of real talk about internet beef, long booties, and why confidence will always win—even when the crack’s out. We’re getting into cancel culture, content creation fatigue, and why Kev still posts even when Twitter tries to cook him. We’re breaking down internet drama, creator burnout, and how Kev keeps showing up online even when the timeline turns toxic. Lex admits she’s been on her rebrand journey, and Drea gets real about why keeping it cute sometimes takes more strength than clapping back. and Kev keeps it all the way real about body image, filler rumors, and why he’ll never get a fake hairline (even if it rains). By the end, we’ve dragged cookies, praised dad bods, and reminded everybody: you can be petty and peaceful… just not on the same day. This week on Pour Minds, we’re talking ambition, fake love, and why chasing success will have you smiling in rooms you lowkey can’t stand. Lex and Drea are back on the couch asking the real questions: how far are you willing to go to level up, and is it really fake… or just good business? We got into working with people you don’t like, out-hustling your coworkers, and knowing when to clap for others vs. when to move around. Lex shares how she used to snatch tables mid-shift, Drea breaks down her rules for “strategic faking,” and both of them admit they’ve been hatin’ for no reason. By the end of the episode, somebody’s manifesting a cypher verse, the tequila tastes like water, and we’re all agreeing: if you ain’t greeted that table in two minutes, it’s mine now. We also get into modern-day prom madness, erotic hypnosis, and how sex gets deeper when the mind gets involved. Drea explains why she’s never been truly d-matized, while Lex shares how breathwork unlocked a whole new level of pleasure. The 7 is off today but we're sharing a moving recent episode of "Post Reports." Since 2000, the rate of new cancer diagnoses for people ages 15 to 49 has climbed by 10 percent. This year, more than 200,000 people in that age group will be newly diagnosed with cancer. They will join more than 2.1 million Americans who were also diagnosed as young adults and are living with the disease. In today's episode, Post video journalist Drea Cornejo sits down with host Elahe Izadi to talk about how Drea's own cancer diagnosis three years ago, when she was 26, motivated her to report on the realities facing more younger adults. Drea documented the lives of Tanner and Shay Martin over the past six months as they navigated Tanner's terminal colon cancer diagnosis with big life decisions including starting a family. While most young adults survive their cancer diagnosis, they still face the potential of a greatly altered future with implications for relationships, careers, finances and family planning. You can watch The Post's short documentary about Tanner and Shay here. Be sure to also check out the comic about Drea's diagnosis here. Today's show was produced by Elana Gordon. It was mixed by Ted Muldoon and edited by Renita Jablonski with additional editing by Lynh Bui, Mary-Ellen Deily and Dan Keating. Additional reporting for this story came from Dan Keating, Ariana Cha and Julia Wall. Special thanks to Wendy Galietta, Whitney Leaming, Jessica Koscielniak and Stephen Smith.
