It was seniors' night for the Floresville Tigers varsity baseball team April 16. To say that this game turned out to be a pitching duel was putting it mildly. If you looked at the scoreboard there were zeros on both sides until the third inning — that's when Floresville squeezed out one lone run. They did it again in their half of the fourth inning. All the while, the Tiger pitcher kept the visiting Uvalde Coyotes at bay. When the Coyotes managed to get on base, the Tiger defense erased them and kept the zero on the board. This is...Article Link

How sweet it is, how sweet it is!!! The Clemson Tigers Men’s Basketball Team is dancing well into March after two dominating performances against New Mexico State and Auburn in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament and is now on their way to the Sweet Sixteen for the first time in more than two decades. Clemson's three-headed monster guard trio of Gabe Devoe, Shelton Mitchell and Marquise Reed have been an unstoppable force early on as they’ve combined to average 54 points per game through the first two contests with Elijah Thomas dominating down low. The Tigers now turn their attention towards a talented but flawed Kansas Jayhawks team that was tested by 16-seed Penn and escaped 8-seed Seton Hall with a narrow victory. However, this experienced squad and storied program should pose the greatest challenge the Tigers have faced all year but, as we’ve seen so far, no team is safe in this tournament. Virginia says hello. In this ep we look back on the tourney run thus far and preview the Jayhawks as Clemson looks to extend their dance for a couple more weeks. We also touch on a Tiger Baseball team that is scuffling after a series sweep by NC State in Doug Kingsmore over the weekend and discuss what it may take to right the ship in Tigertown. Enjoy the show and Go Tigers!
Spring is near in Clemson, SC, which means it time to start talking about tournament basketball and the 2018 Tiger Baseball team. First, after a scintillating start to the season the #15 Clemson Men’s Basketball team has come back down to earth, suffering their first losing streak of the season as they’ve dropped their last three in tough fashion. The loss of Shelton Mitchell to a concussion late in the loss to Florida State has crippled an offense that has resembled Brad Brownell teams of old in losses to Duke and Virginia Tech. However, all is not lost as they hope to get Mitchell back for the last three games of the regular season and return to form in an attempt to make a deep tourney run. On the diamond, the #11 Clemson Baseball team takes the field under 3rd year head coach Monte Lee as the Tigers look to advance to a Super Regional and possible trip to Omaha for the first time since 2010. This years team is loaded with power with the return of Seth Beer, Chris Williams and Logan Davidson, among others, but all eyes will be focused on a young and inexperienced pitching staff that loses all four starters from last year. The jury remains out on what the ceiling of this team stands to be for the 2018 season but a lethal offense, improved defense and talented pitching staff loaded with potential is a cause for optimism. Is Seth Beer Omaha bound in his last season as a Tiger? A 4-0 start has them headed in the right direction. Enjoy the show and Go Tigers!!!
