PREVIEW 6: Investigating Mysterious Martian Slope Streaks John Batchelor speaks with Bob Zimmerman about unexplained geological features on Mars called slope streaks. These features resemble stains or avalanches but do not alter topography and lack debris. They sometimes even flow uphill. Theories suggest causes like dust or brine, but the exact mechanism is unknown. The Curiosity rover recently captured an image of a potential slope streak, offering a unique opportunity to study them closely and understand their origin. 1954

Are you an all-or-nothing person? I think I am. I like to sprint and then rest. I like to go hard, and then I like to go home. The challenge many coaches face is that in business, most of our deadlines are self-imposed.And without urgency or external accountability? It can be hard to get into action. Inside this episode, I share five ways that I use sprints, streaks and batching to maintain momentum and get things done when there is no external pressure. Listen in to hear more about: ✅ The power of an action orientation.✅ How to create a marketing hour of power. ✅ Content posting sprints. ✅ The importance of ‘CEO time'.. ✅ Batching through theme days. ✅ How to use constraints to move forward. If you want creative strategies to get into action and keep moving in your business, this episode is for you. Listen in, try some of these ideas, and if you have other ways you apply sprints, streaks or batching, please send them to me on LinkedIn to collate and share! If you would like to chat about whether my group coaching program, the Corporate to Coach Accelerator, could be a good fit for your business, head to elliescarf.com/bookacall to book a call.

When we think of Lou Gehrig, we usually think about one of two things: his tragic early death or his record breaking consecutive games played streak, which began this week 100 years ago. This week, we celebrate the happier of those two aspects of his life and career, looking back at the 2,130 games that made up Gehrig's incredible accomplishment. Through it, you get a sense of just how determined, exceptional, and lucky Laruppin' Lou was until the moment his luck and body gave out. Plus, happy birthday to Terry Kennedy and Johnny Mostil! And farewell to Billy Smith, Tony Blanco, Octavio Dotel and Nate Oliver.

It's one of the most iconic records in sports, Joe DiMaggio's unbelievably improbable 56 game hitting streak, that began 84 years ago this week. With Kyle Schwarber's 47 game on-base streak now snapped, Mike and Bill thought it was appropriate to revisit the greatest streak of them all, going step by step through this incredible accomplishment and marvel at the talent and luck it took to ultimately pull it off. Plus, happy birthday to Chicken Wolf and Gentleman Jim Hickman!
