It's eerily quiet in Tiger Town at the moment...meaning either something big is cooking, or absolutely nothing is happening! On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, Eddie Otto is back in the host's chair and is joined by Garry Watson and Joel Helmes. So, is there something happening behind the scenes? Are Tim Sheens and his team working away studiously around the clock to secure the signature of Mitch Moses?Or, is an announcement on where the Eels halfback is going to land still weeks away? We take a look at the latest on Moses in this edition. We also put the rather unhelpful and unwelcome comments from Benny Elias under the microscope. There's also discussion around the 2023 homes for two players we've been heavily linked to - John Bateman and Nathan Brown. Also getting a look over on this edition of the pod is the latest Wests Tigers 'Ask the Boss' segment with new recruit David Klemmer the guest.Eddie brings back his popular 'Buy, Swap and Hold' segment, and Joel and Garry do battle in the Wests Tigers Podcast Quiz.We hope you have a great Christmas and thank you again for your support through 2022!
Podcast Service During the 1930s, '40s and '50s, Clyde Beatty enjoyed a celebrity status that, today, we only associate with leading athletes and movie stars. In addition to top billing in the circus world, he was the subject of several best-selling books, starred in several hit motion pictures, and was called upon give major product endorsements. The basic premise of The Clyde Beatty Show was best summed up in the announcement that opened each episode: "The world's greatest wild animal trainer Clyde Beatty with an exciting adventure from his brilliant career. The circus means thrills, excitement, and snarling jungle beasts. The circus means fun for young folks and old. But under the Big Top you see only a part of the story. The real drama comes behind the scenes where five hundred people live as one family, where Clyde Beatty constantly risks death in the most dangerous act on earth. Mario Haggan and David Murray talk Mississippi State football as the 2-0 Bulldogs open their SEC season at LSU. Haggan played twice in Tiger Stadium himself and has his own perspective on game day on this SEC campus. The 2022 Bulldogs beat Memphis and Arizona handily but are still not any polished product going into conference play. The Bulldog defense must chase a play-making Tiger quarterback while LSU's own defensive front will come after league-leading passer Will Rogers. Can a developing run game be a key to balancing State's attack in Tiger Town?

It's a slimmed-down Wests Tigers Podcast crew for this edition with Eddie, Steve, and Declan all AWOL.That means it's Joel and Garry for a mid-week look at the latest goings on in Tiger Town.Cameron Munster, he's one of the best players in the NRL and there was a report out yesterday linking us to him on a huge deal.Sure, Tim Sheens has come out and denied he's on our radar, but what would the Storm, Queensland, and Australian five-eight bring to the Tigers? Is he the kind of player that could turn this club's fortunes around? Is he the guy we break the bank for? And is this reason we haven't signed our existing halves beyond next season?Joel and Garry take a deep dive into that.If the reports were true at the time, we only just missed out on signing Tevita Pangai Junior last year. But, now that he may be on his way out of Belmore, is he a guy we should again be trying to add to our squad?TPJ is discussed on this edition of the pod.How about Liam Martin? The Panthers forward is apparently another potential signing target for the Wests Tigers. And he might be broken, but is Andrew Fafita a good candidate for a Wests Tigers homecoming? We look at what could be an impending Wests Tigers clean-out with up to ten players possibly exiting Concord in a fortnight. There's a look at the Wests Tigers team named to take on the Dragons on Sunday. A preview of the Ambus event at CommBank Stadium before that game. And hit play or download this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast for a trimmed-down version of Yoiti's Quiz.

He also talks about the state of recruiting at Clemson (hint: he likes it both from his own experience and his viewpoint as a dad), the outlook for this year's football team and the things he can still relate to as a former athlete in Tigertown. Plus we look at the latest group of baseball signees headed to Clemson, including some highly ranked prospects out of high school as well as the meaningful way some transfers coming to Clemson from Michigan with new coach Eric Bakich can impact the dugout. Jelisa Apps Interview

There's plenty to discuss in regards to the current Eels backrower.Further to that, the boys take James Tamou to task over his comments regarding Papali'i and his future.Luke Brooks to the Knights? There looks to be some truth to reports that a trade to the Knights is being discussed, who do you want in return? Tyson Frizell or David Klemmer, we give our opinions on those options. And Eddie's quiz returns, this time with the addition of a listener question that might just leave everyone stumped! It's another big edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, don't miss it!
Welcome to the Sports Zone Podcast, where we discuss, opine, and report on all things local sports. In this episode, the Tigers kick off fall camp and first-year LSU head coach Brian Kelly is excited, even to see reporters."Welcome back everybody. It is great to have you here," Kelly told media following the team's first day of practice. How Kelly and his staff have much to sort out. Our Richie Mills reports from Tigertown. And we ask the question to our esteemed panel, "Can the Tigers reach this threshold?"Tulane opens fall camp with a wave of optimism – and a bold prediction from one of its best players, one he says will break the internet.Saints rookie offensive tackle Trevor Penning is ready to bust some heads, but there's only so many extra-curricular activities Dennis Allen will tolerate."We have to learn as a team how to compete, how to play, and how to practice, and push ourselves to the limit, but not take it over the edge," said Coach Allen. Is Trevor Penning's aggressiveness a liability – or is it much to ado about nothing? And, Friday Night Football is two weeks away and counting. Ed Daniels and his FNF co-host Coach J.T. Curtis are optimistic about at least one change in high school sports. But, will it stick?Stick around for the WGNO Sports Zone.

With Spiro sidelined this week Sixties and Forty20 tee off on a wide range of topical NRL matters. The episode kicks off with a spirited discussion about international and Origin eligibility following Brian To'o's declaration for Samoa ahead of the Rugby League World Cup. There is plenty happening elsewhere in the NRL this week as a flurry of fullbacks change clubs while the Cronulla Sharks and potentially the NSW Blues handle a COVID infection surrounding Nicho Hynes. There is good news for the Sharks though with Briton Nikora re-signing as they continue to build a solid core playing group. Drama at the Wests Tigers? Well I never. The boys discuss Luke Brooks coming out swinging at the constant leaks...before a fresh new leak comes out about Adam Doueihi and Brett Kimmorely. There is good news for the NRL believe it or not as Sixties and Forty20 celebrate a wonderful return to New Zealand for the code. An ambitious plan to repay the Warriors is outlined by Forty20 and the feasibility of it is questioned. Lastly we take a quick look at the team sheet for the Parramatta Eels. Without entering full on preview territory the lads look at the changes this week and how the team need to adjust ahead of their trip to Leichardt.
Clemson football fans, welcome to the Reign Supreme Alway podcast, your source for analysis of the Tigers in 2022. As we get started, we'll detail the program's outlook from top to bottom -- the reasons to smile and the X-factors to wonder about. Dabo Swinney has built a dynasty where the Blue Ridge yawns its greatness in Clemson, S.C., but a lot of change has come to Tigertown since last autumn. With plenty of strengths to build upon, let's look in-depth at where successes are likely and where challenges remain -- whether carrying over from last year or starting fresh now. We'll keep you up to date on the fierce Tigers defense, with Wes Goodwin now at the helm, and led by a punishing group of linemen that includes Miles Murphy, Tyler Davis, Brian Bresee and Xavier Thomas. And we'll give you the info you need on the potential of this year's offense, with DJ Uiagalelei back in command of Brandon Streeter's playbook as Will Shipley, Beaux Collins and Jordan McFadden all figure prominently as well. Plus we'll offer insights on new key names to know, from capable freshmen to rising lettermen. And we'll shine a light on the unsung heroes of this team, the crucial players and coaches who don't get as much of the spotlight as they should. Each episode's breakdowns and shoutouts will be brought to you through the experienced viewpoints of longtime ACC and Clemson football observers. And when the football team isn't rocking Death Valley and the ACC, we'll keep you posted on Clemson sports from soccer and basketball to baseball, softball and more. We're glad you found us, Clemson family! Check back soon for our debut episode, follow us on Twitter at @ClemsonKickoff and on Facebook at ReignSupremeAlway, and until then, Go Tigers!
