Ever wondered if the magic of Disney extends to its nearby high-end hotels? Brittany and I spill the beans on our recent escapade at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, a place that marries the enchantment of Disney with the sophistication of the Marriott brand. We're peeling back the curtain on this strategically placed resort, diving into its history and how it's carved out a niche in the competitive landscape of accommodations around the happiest place on earth. And because no review is complete without the nitty-gritty, we're getting real about what the Dolphin does well and where it left us wanting more.Buckle up for a jaunt through Disney's transportation intricacies and the dining scene that could rival any foodie's dream, as we shine a light on gems like Todd English's Blue Zoo and Shula's Steakhouse. But it's not all about the glitz of high-end eateries; we're also tackling the subtler aspects of the Disney experience that were notably absent from our stay. From the symphony of Disney tunes that usually scores your vacation to the theming that sweeps you off your feet, we reflect on what it means to be just outside the Disney bubble. Ever find yourself craving the boundless energy of the Wild West while digging into a mountain of breakfast goodness? That's exactly what we experienced at Disney's Whispering Canyon Cafe, and we're here to rustle up all the details in our latest podcast episode. Join Nolan and me as we gallop through the ins and outs of this rambunctious dining adventure, from the Pioneer skillet piled high with breakfast classics to the carnivorous dinner options that left Ryan in a meat-induced state of bliss. We're not just talking about a meal; we're sharing an experience that's as entertaining as it is satisfying, with servers dishing out humor as tastefully as they serve up those endless skillets.Saddle up for a rowdy recap where we chew over the value of the Disney Dining Plan for both breakfast and dinner reservations. While the edibles may not be revolutionary, the charm and character of the Wilderness Lodge's Whispering Canyon Cafe sure are—and we'll tell you why a penny spent here is a penny spent on memories. The playful service, including the notorious "ketchup gig," adds a dash of delight to the dining escapade. Whether it's celebrating a birthday or simply soaking in the atmosphere, we're here to recommend with a wink and a nod why this spot should be on your Disney dining roundup, especially when the sun sets and the dinner bell rings. Please check out our links below:Our Sponsor:www.mainstreettravelco.comEmail Us:circleofparks@gmail.comOur Website:www.circleofparks.comFacebook:www.facebook.com/circleofparksInstagram:www.instagram.com/circleofparksX:www.x.com/circleofparksSupport the show

That’s when he decided to go for it.The Disney way of doing business and customer service fascinated Jody. Lee Cockerell had just gone into retirement after many years serving as a Walt Disney World executive. Lee is the man who opened Disneyland Paris and implemented many changes we see today in how Walt Disney Resorts are operated. In our episode this week, you’ll hear about how Jody reached out to Lee, and the surprising discussion that ultimately led to the start of the popular podcast called Creating Disney Magic which focuses on success in your personal career and delivering top notch customer service. How Creating Disney Magic Opened DoorsAs Creating Disney Magic gained momentum, both Lee Cockerell and Jody Maberry experienced doors opening for them they could not imagine. The world craved learning about Walt Disney leadership philosophies and practices.Lee and Jody have expanded the reach of Creating Disney Magic to include speaking engagements that now include Jody on the stage!Books have been published under the banner of the show such as Time Management Magic, which helps readers apply the skills used by Lee Cockerell to make the most out of a day. Dan is another former Walt Disney leader sharing his insights on the Disney way of leadership. That show is called Come Rain or Shine with Dan Cockerell. The title is derived from how Dan’s executive assistant was empowered to kick him out of his office rain or shine every day so he could connect with Disney Cast Members. The latest show from Jody Maberry is a joint venture with another former Disney leader, Jeff Noel who enjoyed a 30-year career with Walt Disney Company. That show is called If Disney Ran Your Life applying Walt Disney leadership principles to your personal life. Prior to her On The Spot podcast debut, Meg Gilbert Crofton carried all of the responsibility that comes with being the first female president of Walt Disney Resort. She shares with us all of the trials and triumphs during her tenure with Walt Disney that make the magic happen in the happiest place on Earth! Most recently with Disney’s Parks and Resorts Division, she became one of three COOs charged with driving smooth operations of the Parks and Resorts business segment. Her direct responsibilities were for the Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Disneyland Paris. This involved overseeing a workforce of more than 100,000 cast members at three sites with direct accountability for eight theme parks, 31 hotels and large-scale retail, dining and entertainment properties. In total, this represented a significant share of the total revenue for the entire business segment. In addition to domestic and international operations, she had responsibility for the global lines of business that supported the entire parks and resorts division which included expertise in food and beverage, merchandise, hotel and park operations, entertainment, industrial engineering, safety, security, and facilities asset management. During her tenure, the company undertook massive cultural change, which entailed leveraging best practices, enabling international expansion and developing talent worldwide. This included driving a seismic cultural and organizational shift from operating as independent sites for decades to becoming a truly global organization. Another major change effort was the integration of the physical and digital experiences, first implemented at The Walt Disney World Resort. Upon her retirement, she received the highest honor Disney bestows: a dedicated window on Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort celebrating her legacy of mentoring and leadership development. Rachel Winard was a professional violinist before going to Columbia law school, at which point she received her Lupus diagnosis. This forced her to take a step back from her high-stress career and focus on self-care. At the same time, she found that her skin became extremely sensitive and sought mild ingredients for skin care. This is really the start of Soapwalla Kitchen (https://soapwallakitchen.com/), a proud member of the LGBTQ community, who create products for your health rather than products to help you look a particular way.
