26.30 Mitől hat ránk a zene? Mesél a sorozat mellékszereplőiről is, Zomblaze-től Marci szegedi barátain át egészen Beton. Vai to vispār var izdarīt? Pirms kādiem diviem gadiem no vienas skolas vedu Ziemassvētku dāvanas. Mašīnā biju salikusi Ziemassvētku dāvanas tik daudz, ceru, ka ceļu policija neklausīsies, ka es knapi spoguļus redzēju. Tad man bija sajūta, ka tā laikam jūtas Ziemassvētku vecīši vai tie īstie, kuri spēj to to prieku radīt. Tās nebija manis radītas dāvanas, bet man sajūta kā kurjeram bija ļoti izteikta. Es teiktu, ka droši vien, drošība ir tā, ko man gribētos. Raidījumā skan: Mesa – „Laika pēdas” Shchedryk – „Carol of the Bells” Ralfs Eilands, Lauris Reiniks – „Dod pieci! 2025” himna

Daniel Friebe, Lionel Birnie and Rob Hatch, give their verdict on the parcours unveiled in Paris on Thursday morning. The ASO bigwigs have backloaded the course, apparently in the hope of maintaining a little more suspense this year. Will they succeed? Or, in trying to Pog-proof the Tour, have they merely underlined what an impossible task that is? Then email automated@welikeshooting.com for an invite to Krampus. - Dear WLS Romeo Whiskey - I'm looking to tame my 10.3 inch AR sbr. The recoil is a bit excessive for 5.56. I understand that is going to be a thing with a shorty, but I'm sure there are ways to mitigate it somewhat. I have a no-name linear comp that is ok until I pick up a suppressor, but am open to suggestions for muzzle devices. I also think an adjustable gas block would be a good start. Any suggestions on the best for the money? What else should I look for to break the spirit on this little blaster? Thanks Zac C - Hey guys, just started looking for my son's first deer rifle for his 13th birthday. I'd like to stay around 600 or less not including optic. Figured I couldn't go wrong with a .243 youth rifle with a 3x9 or a 4-12 scope. What rifle would y'all suggest? Thanks! Shoot straight! Notes- Hi Dan. Y'all Cunts - What's up gents. I'm planning on buying a GIRSAN INFLUENCER X in the near future. I've heard nothing but good things from a few guys I know the have them. My question is the valor mini to small for it and what light would you guys recommend? I'll probably already have it fully decked out by the time you read this but keep on keeping on. Miss Ogynist - My Dishwasher is broke. Should I replace or just write her a check? Joe E - Just listening to DoubleTap 423 and I swear to Christ Jeremy is trolling me personally at this point. I'm also a Marine that was in Horno 05-07 and was stationed in Ft Leonnardwood from 00-01. Big Louies was the greatest stripe club ever, bring your own bucket of beer! Sucks that they got shut down. I don't remember Jeremy but feel I would if I had seen his giant ass walking around. I'm a POG (5711) so not crossing paths is not shocking, but Horno is a small as camp and the Marine Det on Leonardwood is tiny as well, so maybe just missed him. Jeremy do you remember the taxi driver with the gimpy arm that kept his glove boxes full of porno's? Can't remember his name wonder if he was still around. Did you end up in the old ass white squad bays while you were in MAT Platoon? Follow up to the suppressor move question that you all answered for me. Having to move back to a completely none friendly state, I am leaving them with inlaws in a safe they have no access too. I will have an ID for the friendly state, but my drivers license and residency will be in the none friendly state. Will that stop me from continuing to purchases NFA items, or I am able to purchase them in the friendly state with my ID and leave them there?" Boomer with Garands - Who wrote and performed the theme song to "Double Tap"? What are the lyrics to the whole tune, and where can I download the complete song? It's very catchy! Notes- "After thorough and exhaustive examination of the material in question, I can confidently and unequivocally state that there are no further suggestions, observations, or amendments that would be required or deemed beneficial at this particular juncture. The work stands as is, complete and without need for any additional commentary or revision from my side." --ChatGPT's version of "No Notes" #StopPostingBlueAlphaCodesOnReddit #0.8xListener Mikoks Bigrthanyerz - What is required to have Shawn (I'm TCCC cert because of my #SSB) Herein come teach medical classes in our state? The Vuelta is over and the world champs is well underway, which means we're nearly at the end of the 2025 racing season! It's really crept up on me, I can't believe it! On one hand, it feels like it's flown by, but on the other - the Spring Classics feel like forever ago. This month's communique focuses on the World Champs over in Rwanda. It is an absolutely brutal course this year; almost 270kms with over 5000m of climbing. Whoever wins this is going to be a thoroughly deserving winner. Remco's already got himself a rainbow jersey in the TT; can he double up with another road race title? What about Pog? He looked pretty knackered in the TT at the world champs, didn't he? Still cooked from the Tour or just reaching the end of his rope? I can't quite believe I'm saying this, but there's a big question mark over him ahead of the road race! But just watch him make me look like a cock knob and win by 9 minutes solo now. There's some strong looking underdogs in the mix too; Del Toro, Healy, Carapaz, McNulty, Pidcock, and loads of other in form hitters that could spring a surprise and overcome the two main favourites. We discuss all the favourites as well as make our predictions. In this month's PeloChat, Turbo Durbo gives us some insight into the end of a pros season - limping or striving through the last few races. Usually, a rider gets their provisional calendar at the start of the year, and it runs through to the Vuelta. After that, it's a case of “we'll see”. There's still races to go, but so many riders are sick, injured, or just cooked - so pulling together a decent squad to knock out the last few races of the year becomes a tricky task. Riders have to be adaptable throughout the whole season. Southam's talking tactics dives into UAE's record breaking season - the most wins in 1 season by any team ever. How have they managed this? How does the team manage so many world class riders? How have they won so much but still lost the Giro on the last day, and seemingly piss the Vuelta away by hunting stages? Tom shares his take on UAE's questionable tactics at points throughout the year that still haven't stopped them winning almost everything. The quiz this month is all about the world's TT. I'm quiz master, and the boys go head to head. Brace yourselves, I'm thinking next month's season finale is going to be a bumper CommuniQuiz edition. Guys, I hope you like listening to this month's communique as much as I love recording it. Sitting down and spinning a yarn about bike racing with some mates - does it get any better? Cheers Mitch The Race Communiqué is brought to you by TrainingPeaks! Track, plan, and train smarter - just like the pros. The cycling world has descended on Rwanda the 2025 World Championships - and it's already been a lot of fun. We've seen a huge ride from Remco to secure his third straight time trial title, young Welsh star Zoe Backstedt was equally dominant in the women's U23 time trial, and now there's the incredible road races to look forward to. Who's gonna take the rainbow jersey this year? G and Luke give their thoughts. Basically... can anyone beat Pog? It's gonna be a lot of fun finding out. Want to try NordVPN? That's that then. G's final ever (competitive) time up Mont Ventoux. And the stage really did not disappoint. We saw the breakaway duke it out for the win, Pog and Jonas come within a whisker of catching them, and just generally some excellent Ventoux fireworks. One of the stages of the race so far. It was nearly 8pm and G messaged the famous Watts Occurring WhatsApp group. 'Boys I'm not really in the mood. I'm nailed.' But we knew an hour on the massage table chatting to Luke was exactly what he needed - and by the end of tonight's pod, he'd come round. And what a day it was at the Tour. A huge break, GC gaps aplenty and - of course - an absolute clinic from Pog. We are witnessing greatness. Incredibly though... he didn't win our Continental Tyres Chapeau of the Day. Episode Description: Max and Molly try to decode a mysterious POG message hidden in the Statue of Liberty's torch, but they are overwhelmed by permutations—until a clue from a previous mission shines new light. The clues lead them to 16th-century France, where they use a clever time trick to gain the trust of famed psychic, Nostradamus. Can he help them catch a POG Mole without blowing their cover? Math Concepts: Permutations without repetition (factorials); Simple multiplication and pattern building with factorials (7! = 5040; 8! = 40,320) History/Geography Concepts: Introduction to Nostradamus: his visions, writings, and court life in 16th-century France; Catherine de Medici and King Henri II's court; Palace intrigue and the role of advisors in Renaissance politics; Zen koans and Buddhist philosophy
The Tour de France is in full swing, and with it comes a flood of tech news, wild bikes and even wilder French car park encounters with pros and rival journalists. In this episode of the BikeRadar Podcast, Jack Luke is joined by Simon von Bromley – fresh from the grande départ in Lille – to unpack this year's biggest tech stories so far. Top of the list is Jonas Vingegaard's brand-new Cervélo R5, which Simon was first to spot. It's lighter, sleeker, and could be key in the GC battle. They also dig into Tadej Pogačar's possible mountain time trial machine, the new Merida Reacto, and the surprising trend-bucking ENVE SES 4.5 Pro wheels ridden by Pog. There's also a peek behind the curtain at how BikeRadar covers the Tour, plus a look at last week's top-performing story and our weekly ‘rant' courtesy of Michael Woods, who thinks pro riders should be wearing hockey-style protective gear. Life in the Peloton is proudly brought to you by MAAP The Tour is right around the corner! La Grande Boucle. The creme de la creme. The biggest race of the year. After a stellar Dauphine watching Pog, Jonas, and Remco show their cards I am so gee'd up to watch this year's race; A grippy first week in the North of France, some epic mountains, and a brand new finish up Monmartre in Paris - what's not to love?! I never raced the Tour as a pro, but I've worked it a few times chasing the race and making podcasts. One thing I've never done, though, is follow the race as a FAN. Luckily for me, I've got the boys over at Life In The Peloton's Race Radio to give their ultimate guide to watching the Tour de France on the roadside as a fan. Here's what old mate Harry had to say about this month's episode of Life In The Peloton's Race Radio: This ep is all about going to the Tour de France. Between us, Stu and I have been to the Tour more than a dozen times, both as fans and for work. There's nothing quite like cheering on your favourite riders from the roadsides, and we encourage you all to get out and hit the route, so we've put together our top tips and tricks for making the most out of a trip to the Tour. Learn how to chase the race, pick your spot, learn from our mistakes, and much more. Vive le Tour! I won't be making the trip across to Europe this year - but I'm looking forward to catching up with the racing from the comfort of my couch back here in Aus. However, I can't let the race go off without at least a little bit of LITP flair - so I'm sending the Race Radio boys over to record a few eps for me and capture that amazing Tour de France atmosphere! If you're heading over to France to see some or all of this year's race, give this ep a listen to make sure you're armed with the best tips, tricks, and advice so you can have the best roadside experience possible! Cheers! Mitch

We've got a treat for you all this week: Ambassador De Pluski's back on the pod. He joined Luke, who was fresh home from the Amstel Gold Race, where... well, where he got lost. Long story. In one of the most dramatic Classics of the season, Pog didn't win. Remco didn't win. But Matthias Skjelmose did. Chapeau, Sir. Next up for both Luke (in the car) and De Pluski (on the bike) is Liege-Bastogne-Liege this Sunday. Will it be Pogi vs Remco again? Or will De Pluski pull off a wild long-range attack of his own? Who knows. Maybe if he fuels with the Luke Rowe sandwich, he'll be fine. (You'll have to listen for that one to make sense.) G will be back next week. See you then. Want to try NordVPN? Life in the Peloton is proudly brought to you by MAAP I don't know about you guys, but I thought this year's edition of the Tour of Flanders was an absolute classic. It had everything: drama, excitement, chaos, and - of course - a worthy winner. I couldn't wait to catch up with our man on the ground, Laurence Pithie, to hear what happened between the barriers on the bergs of Flanders, and hear how he's feeling ahead of the Queen of the classics; Roubaix. Laurence went into Flanders after a pretty nasty crash in Dwars door Vlaanderen the Wednesday before. Fortunately, although he was a bit stiff and bruised, his legs came good and - after over 6 hours of brutal racing - he rolled home in an impressive 11th place. The TV cameras were pretty fixed on that leading group of Pog, Van Der Poel, Pedersen, and Van Aert for the last few hours of the race, so Pithie's ride went a bit under the radar - but that's one of the things I've loved most about getting these updates from him this season; hearing those stories the cameras miss. Although he's still only 22 years old, the way Laurence talks about these races shows just how experienced and mature as a rider he is. Hearing how he raced this year's edition compared to last year, and the changes he made to his tactics even just over the course of this classics season, it's easy to tell how professional he is; already a real seasoned pro. Laurence isn't racing Scheldeprijs - the midweek race between Flanders and Roubaix - so he actually made the decision to fly home for a few days of normality to reset before heading back to the cobbles for Paris Roubaix this Sunday. Flanders is such a huge event with so much build up, it can be pretty overwhelming - so breaking out the bubble for a few days should let Laurence reset and come back ready for all out war at Roubaix. I mean, just looking at the walls of fans on the roadside all the way around Flanders, I'd need a few days to get my hearing back, let alone my legs! I have absolutely loved these regular phone calls with Pithie and really trying to understand what those 3 weeks on the road are like from the inside. It's no secret that I absolutely love the Spring classics; the ins and outs, the crashes, the stories - I could talk about them all day. it's not all about the podium riders - every single rider in these races is giving absolutely everything, and I think that's why they mean so much to so many people; you've got 180 guys lining up ready to leave everything out there on the road. Of course, it's not all over - the best is yet to come. This Sunday, the Queen of the Classics, the Hell of the North, my favourite race: Paris Roubaix. Last year Laurence bagged himself a classy 7th place, and he's looking to better that this time around. I could hear the fear in his voice when he told me the weather forecast; after one of the warmest, driest Springs on record - the rain is coming…oh, man, a wet Roubaix! It's the stuff of dreams…or nightmares. Whether the clouds break or not this weekend, I've got no doubt that Laurence is going to get to that iconic velodrome and round out a great Spring classics season with another pearler of a result. Who knows, he might even come home with a cobblestone of his own. Guys, thanks for following along on this Spring Classics mini series. I hope you've enjoyed these updates from Laurence and the rest of the Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe team as much as I have. In fact, Laurence has actually agreed to give me a call after Roubaix so we can wrap up this series and hear about what went down on the pavé - a cheeky bonus ep. for you all. Laurence; this is it now, mate, the big one. Go and get it. We're all rooting for you. Cheers! He's Ganna Poel up the Pog-gio! And other Milan-San Remo puns. How good was that weekend of bike racing? This week's Spin Cycle kicks off looking at Pogačar's team tactics in light of a behind-the-scenes video that dropped after the race. Things seemed to go mostly to plan, but did they? Then, why can't cycling have more races like MSR? How do you build proper launchpads? We have some ideas. Plus, Mads Pedersen's gut is not a place you want to be, the UCI Track Champions League bit the dust, Marc Madiot thinks France is best, and Vingegaard is back riding again.
