We are a small wine brand named after an eclectic group of 1930s metropolitan refugees known as the Dunites who settled the beach dunes of San Luis Obispo county. This group proudly described themselves as a collection of free thinkers, artists, nudists, and poets. Together they shared meals, cohabited a mutual gathering place, philosophized, dissented, and generally allowed one another to live and express themselves freely outside of the cultural norms of the time.Dunites Wine Co. draws inspiration for this project from the remote beauty of the coastal dunes and the progressive ambition of the Dunites to aspire towards a clear goal; to produce pure and elegant wines that respect the coastal influence of vineyard sites located on the uplifted seafloor and ancient sand dunes of the SLO Coast. Combining diverse vineyard sites and meticulous farming with traditional techniques in the cellar allow for these small production wines to express the distinct characteristics of their sites. We are a husband - wife team who combine our experiences to craft these wines. Together we have worked for over a dozen wineries and vineyards around the world where the people, cultures, and wines have influenced our approach to growing and making wine. Rachel Eck holds a degree in Viticulture from Cal Poly SLO and gained experience working under iconic producers such as Stephen Ross, Paul Lato, and Te Kairanga. Rachel is a licensed Pest Control Advisor and manages our tasting room in downtown SLO. Tyler Eck followed a degree from UCSB with a Viticulture and Oenology degree from Lincoln University in New Zealand. His travels led to working for several pioneering wineries including Dry River, Peay Vineyards, Stefano Lubiana, and Domaine Francois Villard. Since 2014 Tyler has been the Associate Winemaker for Fess Parker Winery. We live in Pismo Beach, with our black lab Cassidy, where we are only a few miles drive from the vineyards we work with.

Our winery was founded in 1989 by my mother, Martha Bannister. It was one of the first female owned wineries in the United States. My mom was the winemaker until 2013 when she had to retire because of complications from Lyme disease. I changed careers then to keep the family label going. I continued to make Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Zinfandel, which had been my mom's favorites, but also added skin fermented Riesling, Scheurebe and a sagneé rose.We only produce about one thousand cases per vintage, with a focus on working with unique vineyards for traditional and non-traditional varietals.

Unti Vineyards is a small, family-owned and operated winery specializing in Mediterranean style wines with vineyard personality. The winery, established in 1997, produces small lots of estate grown Barbera, Grenache, Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Syrah and Zinfandel. We also produce a dry Rose from Grenache and Mourvedre and a handful of white wines: Vermentino, Fiano, and Grenache Blanc. The winemaking involves using traditional methods which enhance and support an ability to make wines with a sense of place. We use artisan winemaking methods to enhance and support our ability to make wines with a sense of place, such as fermenting and aging 45 to 60 different small batches of wine each year, using whole clusters in our Rhone varietal ferments, using a variety of fermenting and aging vessels including stainless steel, concrete tanks, large French oak ovals and small French oak barrels. We have 60 acres of vineyards here in Dry Creek Valley, which is the sole source for all our wines. We approach our vineyards and winemaking as wine enthusiasts, particularly the wines from Italy, Southern France and Spain. California, and specifically Dry Creek Valley has a similar climate the above regions. This explains for why we have chosen to cultivate noble wine grapes, native to these Mediterranean regions contrary to many Dry Creek Wineries. One man's crazy is another one's sanity.

For my history, I started in the wine business in 1994 working in the cellar for Sebastiani in Lodi, after 3 years I went to work at Gnekow Winery spending 4 years working just about every position in the winery from the cellar to the lab and finally sales. I left Gnekow and went to work for Michael David winery where I was the West Coast Director of Marketing. After 2 years I had the itch to be self employed and started a small business etching and painting large wine bottles, 2 years later I sold it to an employee and started a packaging design studio specializing in wine labels. After 10 years, I was ready to work with my hands again and in 2010 Choral and I started Jeremy Wine Co.As for the future, we're very excited as we've just signed a lease purchase agreement on an existing winery outside of Lodi that greatly expands our capacity for production and hospitality but also includes a beautiful Old Zinfandel vineyard planted in the 1930's. It's a major thing for us to finally land at a permanent home for our winery.

At Harney Lane Winery, we believe great wine begins in the vineyard. After over 100 years of farming wine grapes, our family ventured into winemaking in 2006, while still overseeing all aspects of our fifth-generation farming operations.Using only the best quality fruit from our estate vineyards, we continue to vigilantly work the land on our home ranch, creating award-winning Lodi wines. From planting and tending the grapes each season, to harvest, crush and bottling, we approach winemaking with the same diligence we use in our Certified Green, sustainably farmed vineyards.Located in Lodi's Mokelumne River AVA, our fruit is hand packed, hand sorted, fermented in small lots and barrel aged in programs unique to each of our wines.Harney Lane's portfolio features a diverse array of estate wine, including Old Vine Zinfandel, Tempranillo, Petite Sirah, Albariño, Chardonnay, Dry Rosè, Primitivo, Cabernet Sauvignon, and more. Our Lodi roots run deep: we're proud caretakers of our Lizzy James Vineyard, a Certified Historic Vineyard planted in 1904. Our family still lives and works on the same property we farm today, and we continue to craft wines with integrity and craftsmanship.Recognized by USA Today for having one of the best winery tours, we invite you to come experience what we've spent generations working towards.

Hey, There Friends! This week we have some great guests! First, the dynamic trio of Urban Wine Collective and Charles Morrison of Jardesca Aperitiva! About Urban Wine Collective Urban Wine Collective was birthed based on the love 3 women shared over wine and the lack of safe space allotted for millennials and AA women to learn without being judged. Everyone is welcome, so come in, sit down, and pour yourself a glass... About Charles Morrison I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I went to the University of Oregon where I found my passion for entrepreneurship and my love of wine. I worked at a small winery for 3 months during my senior year, and I knew from then on I wanted to work in the wine industry in some capacity. I appreciated being out on the vineyard on a weekly basis and enjoyed figuring out how to build a brand catered to specific target audiences. Right after college, I worked at Amazon for 5 years in the sales and marketing division on two different teams. In 2017, I left Amazon to work with my Dad and our business partner growing our lovely aperitif wine brand, Jardesca. I am currently wearing the hats as owner, sales and market manager, recipe generator, and photographer for our company. About Jardesca The idea of leading a simple life, surrounded by friends, enjoying the garden, is one of our guiding principles, inspired by Epicurus. We believe that when we grow the garden, we bring balance to life. Sharing experiences with others is what makes us truly rich. Life is short and every day deserves a pause, a moment for an aperitiva. “Our wealth is measured by what we enjoy, not what we own.” -Epicurus Jardesca White Aperitiva Jardesca California Aperitiva is a botanically infused, all-natural, low alcohol aperitif that marries 10 botanicals including pink grapefruit, bay leaf, and pink peppercorn, with a blend of 3 artisanal California wines, with Viognier at the heart. Best enjoyed over ice, Jardesca California Aperitiva is perfectly balanced, delicious and beautifully refreshing. Jardesca Red Aperitiva Jardesca Red Aperitiva is a botanically infused, all-natural, low alcohol aperitif that marries 10 botanicals including tangerine, ginger and cardamom, with a blend of 3 artisanal California wines, with Zinfadel at the heart. In 1997, Charlie Crocker and Pam Starr established Crocker & Starr on the Crocker Estate in St. Helena, resurrecting a world-class vineyard with roots dating back to the 1870s. Charlie is co-owner with Pam, the winery manager and winemaker. Between Charlie’s historic estate that has grown grapes for over 140 years and Pam’s winemaking expertise, vision, and business acumen, the partners proved to be a spectacular match. The winery handcrafts a small production of exquisite wines from select blocks within the 100-acre vineyard. The vines are cultivated following organic principles, and the clusters are hand harvested, transformed into wine through cutting edge winemaking techniques, blending the best of Old World philosophy and New World fruit. Starr presides over the estate’s wines to capture the essence of the vineyard’s extraordinary terroir. The result is complex and balanced, elegant wines that express the aromatic profile of the Crocker Vineyard. The estate Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard, named “Stone Place” yields a wine of distinction with a slight mineralogy and a deep brooding quality of black chocolate that Charlie and Pam consider their crowning achievement. The winery also makes a Cabernet Franc, a Sauvignon Blanc, a Malbec blend named “Casali,” and two wines – a Napa appellation Cabernet blend and a Sauvignon Blanc blend – under the label “Bridesmaid.” Crocker & Starr’s Sauvignon Blanc was rated the “12th Best Wine in the World” in Wine Spectator’s 2006 “Top 100 List.” In 2014, Crocker & Starr began work on their new production facility on the historic Crocker Estate. The building was completed in the summer of 2016, just in time for the 20th anniversary of Charlie and Pam’s collaboration.
