    In Season 2, Episode 2, your hosts Andy Wang and Lee Uehara recap their time at Podfest Expo that takes place in March in Orlando, FL annually.First up is the rundown of the OFFICIAL Asian American Podcasters Association (AAP) and Women of Color Podcasters (WOCP) meet-up with a dessert bar, sponsored by Podbean. Andy and Lee share what sweets were on hand as well as report on how it all went.Then, they talk about AAP member Joon Han's standing-room only talk, "Podcasting for Business Leaders: AKA The Business of Podcasting." Ultimately, Andy and Lee suggest that you might want to invite Joon on as a guest on your show because he's good at telling stories, among other things. Andy and Lee also gave a talk, Recording on Location to Grow Your Audience and Email List. Unfortunately, it was not recorded due to logistical issues at the conference. However, it too was well-attended. Andy Wang also got to be on the main stage when he joined the New Media Show panel discussion with Todd Cochrane and Rob Greenlee, Glen the Geek of Horse Radio Network. Andy and Lee also share that there will be a new segment on the AAP Podcast.     AAP's BIG BIG News, Traveling and Recording on Location

    In Episode 9, Lee Uehara and Andrew Wang share some HUGE news about AAP.Then, they talk about recording on location after traveling during the summer. Andy goes to Taipei and Tokyo. Lee goes to...Lexington, Kentucky to give an AAP/WOC talk, "Avoiding Newbie Mistakes" for the Lexington Podcasters group run by Jennifer Longworth of Bourbon Barrel Podcasting.Then, Andy and Lee move on and talk about the terms "Asian" versus "Asian American." Which do you use? Does either bother you? Let us know and reach out at @aapodcasters. Food Talk: Andy eats fried grasshoppers - or is it caramelized duck tongue? He told friends that if they nominated his personal show for a business podcast award, he would eat one of those foods. Incidentally, AAP and NYFF are neighbors at the 40th Annual Coalition for Asian Pacific Americans Festival in NYC's Chinatown.Andy and Rob talk about about NYAFF's goal of bringing Asian cinema to the United States. NYAFF is based at Lincoln Center on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
