This is for my husband on our anniversary, I love you and your love of golf! Have you ever fallen asleep while watching golf on television? Yeah, me too! Tonight's story The Charm of Golf is a short story written by A.A. Milne perhaps best known for his stories of the Hundred Acre Wood and Winnie the Pooh. Like all authors, the tendency to muse about life and sport will almost always land somewhere on a blank page. If you love golf, this story and a bit about the history of golf may be something you want to stay awake for, if not sweet dreams. Either way, I hope it helps make you very Fairy Sleepy. Rainbows are a symbol around the world of hope, peace, love, and perhaps pots of gold at the end of the rainbow. Mostly they are beautiful reminders of the calm after the storm. Tonight's story begins with rain and ends with a rainbow and hopefully deep sleep. I love to travel and during my many travels coming back, many times, felt like I was waking from a dream. Tonight's episode is a bit different. The story and the music are different. Tonight we walk together west of Brittany's beautiful coastline and find the island of Belle-Île-en-Mer, whose name aptly translates to ‘beautiful island'. It is France's third largest island and has been a popular location for artists over the years. Most notably, French Impressionist painter Claude Monet captured the essence of the coastal rock formations during the 1870s and 1880s, Join me on a walk around the island, and discover with me Monet's Island muse and a trip I'll never forget.
