10. októbra sme si pripomenuli Medzinárodný deň ľudí bez domova, povieme si akú majú situáciu na Slovensku, ako sa o týchto ľudí staráme a dozviete sa tiež, že sa Prešov zapojil do európskeho sčítania ľudí bez domova. Prezradíme vám aj to, že slovenskí včelári na najväčšej medzinárodnej výstave Apimondia 2025 v Kodani opäť zabodovali.

Minister zahraničných vecí Juraj Blanár (Smer-SD) v relácii Ide o pravdu hovoril o kľúčových zahraničnopolitických témach – od spolupráce Vyšehradskej štvorky cez vojnu na Ukrajine až po postoje Slovenska k Európskej únii, sankciám proti Rusku a ústavným zmenám.

Slovenskú verejnú debatu minulý víkend úplne prevalcovala diskusia o konzervatívnej zmene ústavy, ktorá bola z veľkej časti dielom kresťanských demokratov. Je len pár metrov od Vatikánu. „Túto adresu poznali mnohí Slováci, ktorí prichádzali do Ríma. Vedeli, že dvere sú tu pre nich vždy otvorené. Že kardinál Tomko je tu vždy pre nich. Dnes sa snažíme, aby tieto priestory boli neoficiálnou treťou slovenskou ambasádou v Ríme“, hovorí riaditeľ Černý. Ústav je tak otvorený prioritne pre vedeckých pracovníkov, ktorí chodia za svojim výskumom do vatikánskych archívov, či archívov rímskych ústredí väčšiny reholí. „Sme nápomocní pri podpore výskumu v knižniciach, galériách či archívoch tak Vatikánu, ako aj Talianska. Archívy sú tu na dosah ruky“, dopĺňa. Painted Stave Distillery (Smyrna, DE) WF0055 For our 17th of the Great 48, I thought I was going to have some trouble tracking down a whiskey distillery in Delaware, but low and behold I found a fun one in the Painted Stave. Ron and Mike had a particular vision (and name) for this distillery, but sometimes plans change. In this case, rather than a distillery that distributes across the states, they've honed in on their community and it is a fun place to hang out with friends. From the food trucks to the cocktails and spirits served neat, there is a lot to like here. I will say though, there is one spirit they made that might turn your head and make you wonder what they were thinking. Again, a surprise success.
