Traitors US S4 Week 7 Exit Interview w/ Banished Player Welcome to RHAP’s coverage of ALL the Traitors iterations from around the world, including New Zealand, Australia, and Canada. The Traitors US is a high-stakes reality competition set in a secluded castle, where contestants must work together to complete challenges and earn a prize pot—while rooting out the secret traitors hidden among them. Natalie Anderson sits down with Rob Cesternino and Pooya for an honest exit interview after her banishment from the latest Traitors roundtable. Natalie reflects on her time as the final gamer standing and the difficult decisions she faced in the castle. With emotions running high and trust broken, Natalie and the hosts dig into the social dynamics, alliances, and game-changing moments that shaped her exit. Natalie opens up about her strategies and regrets, revealing how alliances were lost and how she could have approached her last day differently. She explains the challenges of convincing others to vote against Rob and discusses the isolating tactics used by Johnny and Tara, which kept her cut off from key players like Mark, Maura, and Eric. The conversation turns to the mysterious dagger, the hesitance from others to target Rob, and how the perception of being a “gamer” created extra heat and suspicion for Natalie throughout her time in the castle. Key moments from the interview: Natalie considers redirecting votes toward Rob after realizing Tara was not on her side. Johnny's influence shapes Tara's decision at the roundtable, fueling Natalie's frustration. The dagger controversy complicates trust and alliances, raising suspicions about Rob's motives. Natalie’s analysis of Eric's covert gameplay and why he remained under the radar. Insight into the anti-gamer bias in the castle and how it affected strategic choices and banishments. Natalie's deep dive into her Traders experience uncovers the mental toll of isolation, the intricacies of castle politics, and the fallout of not being able to unite fellow gamers. Will the lingering gamer bias shift in future episodes, or will strategic targeting continue to dominate the game's endgame? Send a textEpisode 250The air is thick with the scent of pine and salt, drifting in from the nearby coast, as a boy of ten stands at the edge of a world he barely understands. The capital of Kyoto, full of gilded halls and whispered intrigues, has turned against him. Banished, stripped of comfort, and forced to wander the wild landscapes of the east, he carries only the memory of family and the fragile hope of survival. In the quiet hills of Izu, life slows, and the boy begins to stretch into a young man, learning the rhythms of rivers, the secrets of forests, and the ways of people who live close to the land. Here, among the olive-green terraces and bamboo groves, he meets a woman whose calm strength and fierce loyalty will shape the life he is yet to claim. Together, they navigate alliances and rivalries, learning that power is not taken but earned, slowly, in steps that often feel perilously small.By the time he reaches the shores of what will become Kamakura, the boy is gone. In his place stands a man with the weight of exile behind him, eyes fixed on the horizon, ready to build a home not just for himself but for a new order, one that will endure long after the capital has forgotten his name. The scent of pine still lingers, but now it carries promise, and the wind carries the first whispers of a city that will rise from ambition, resilience, and quiet determination.Support the showInsta@justpassingthroughpodcastContact:justpassingthroughpodcast@gmail.com

Streaming News 39:41: Whatever the Kodansha-Disney deal was supposed to mean, Justin at least doesn’t know since the newest Ghost in the Shell anime will be streamed on Prime this summer; Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc will stream on Crunchyroll this Spring but Justin of course will make this about Demon Slayer; And not surprisingly, things don’t get cheaper, they get more expensive so Crunchyroll upping the subscription price for all tiers is not a shock. 44:43: GKIDS acquired the North American theatrical rights to Shōji Kawamori’s original animation film Labyrinth and it will be in theaters for two days in May; The 76th Berlin International Film Festival is screening a 4K restoration of Ninja Scroll; and Oceanveil continues branching out from what they’re usually known for, and now has Haigakura & Scum’s Wish on their service. Main Topic: Winter Anime 2026 First Impressions 48:04: Justin and Helen discuss a very packed Winter Anime season, which means you should find a lot to like, whether it’s sequels (Frieren S2, Jujutsu Kaisen S3) to thoughtful and dense shows (Journal With Witch) or hilarious romcoms (Tamon's B-Side, You and I Are Polar Opposites). Just don’t do what Justin’s doing and watch objectively bad anime because you liked the original source (Roll Over and Die at 53:03, Tune in to the Midnight Heart at 1:07:47). Weird News 1:57:24: The year of reviving old material continues, as now Chie Shinohara’s Red River is getting an anime adaptation, so once again Justin implores everyone to let their dreams be dreams and put out in the universe what you want to become an anime! 2:03:51: You wouldn’t think a collaboration between artists would generate any controversy, but if it involves China and My Hero Academia, then yes, there will be controversy; if you like spicy foods and Hatsune Miku, Thailand’s got something for you; And finally, Mamoru Oshii has too much time on his hands since he’s logged way too many hours on Fallout, why would he share this with anyone (meanwhile Justin reveals how many hours he’s logged into Fire Emblem: Three Houses) If there’s anything you’d like to share, please feel free to reach out to us on Twitter (@TheOASG) or comment below with your thoughts! Rob's Reactions to The Traitors Episode 9 Welcome to RHAP’s coverage of ALL the Traitors iterations from around the world, including New Zealand, Australia, and Canada. The Traitors US is a high-stakes reality competition set in a secluded castle, where contestants must work together to complete challenges and earn a prize pot—while rooting out the secret traitors hidden among them. Today, Rob Cesternino and Pooya break down the twists, strategies, and shifting alliances among the remaining castle players. As friendships are exposed and traitors quietly maneuver, Rob and Pooya revisit pivotal voting blocks, surprise shortlist decisions, and clever gameplay, offering keen analysis on the evolving landscape of this reality competition. The podcast explores the multifaceted vote that sends Stephen Colletti home, featuring a unique 5-2-2 split and sharp insight into how pairs like Tara and Johnny, and Mark and Kristen, drive the action. The episode also looks at the fresh challenge of the death shortlist, and how self-preservation changes voting behavior, especially for those marked for elimination. Listeners are treated to candid takes on the growing dynamics, including the faithful's infighting, Kristen's direct confrontation with Eric, and Eric's rookie struggles as a newly recruited traitor. Its vivid poetry, layered symbolism (pentangle, girdle, greenness), and Christmas-liturgical depth offer a timeless meditation on pride, mortality, and divine mercy that meets flawed striving with grace—making it an ideal seasonal read for reflecting on our own hidden fears and the courage to face them.Key Discussion PointsRestored Armor & Girdle: Gawain's gleaming armor (rust scraped off) and open wearing of the girdle for self-preservation—symbolizing lingering fear beneath renewed ideal.Final Temptation: Servant's offer to lie and let Gawain flee—Gawain refuses, prioritizing truth and fortitude.Green Chapel: Described as ancient barrow/tomb in wild valley—evoking death, pagan past, nature's savagery, and satanic dread.Three Swings: First (flinch), second (feigned), third (nick)—mirroring castle days; nick as merciful penance for girdle fault.Degree of Error: Guests debate: minor (fear-driven, not malice) yet meaningful lapse in trust/providence; Tolkien downplays, Deacon sees deeper Christian failing.Morgan le Fay vs. Mary: Opposing feminine forces—malicious fae magic vs. protective providence.Gawain's Reaction: Self-reproach, brief blaming of women, then accepting girdle as lifelong humility token.Court's Response: Laughter, solidarity—adopting green baldric as fraternity badge, transforming shame into shared emblem.Old French Motto: “Honi soit qui mal y pense”—Order of the Garter motto reframing girdle as honorable.Notable QuotesBanished Kent: “The poem ends on God's grace… he survives because of that.”George: “Gawain as anti-Lancelot… and anti-Galahad—more human, more endearing.”Thank you for joining this Christmas journey through Sir Gawain. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Cody McDevitt. A White Man and award winning journalist, McDevitt is a Pennsylvania resident and the founder of the Rosedale Oral History Project. Last week, Gus T. spoke with Dr. Emily Leib last week, and she told us that her White grandparents are Beaver County residents. Gus checked immediately, and, of course, Beaver County is a Racially Restricted Region of western Pennsylvania - which Dr. Leib seemed to already know. Upon further investigation, Gus found out that Racists purged a group of black people from this region in 1933. A tad south, Racists in Johnstown also kicked out their population of dark people a decade earlier. McDevitt penned Banished from Johnstown: Racist Backlash in Pennsylvania. This book reveals much about the System of White Supremacy and what it means to be classified as White. Interestingly, so called Mexicans were also told to “beat it” along with the niggras. However, there was intervention on their behalf that was not extended to black people. Pay particular attention to Mr. McDevitt's response to Gus's definition of Racism and his constant references to other non-white people's books and views on Racism. This includes Isabel Wilkerson's abomination Caste (#2ndWorstBookEver). #BlackGetBack #RaciallyRestrictedRegions INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE 564943#

Leila Stillman-Utterback graduated from Middlebury Union High School in June and decided to take a gap year to pursue a dream. The 18-year-old Vermonter traveled to Israel to participate in a solidarity program that included volunteering with Rabbis for Human Rights in the Israeli-occupied West Bank to help Palestinians harvest olives. She was part of an effort to provide “protective presence” for Palestinians who are under constant attack from right-wing Israeli settlers. She said she wanted to live the Jewish values of tikkun olam (repairing the world) and b'tselem elohim (a belief that everyone is created in God's image). On October 29, Stillman-Utterback was detained by Israeli soldiers, spent a night handcuffed in a police station and was accused of violating the terms of her tourist visa by entering a closed military zone. After being hauled before a judge at 3 a.m., she was deported and banned from Israel for 10 years.Leila's treatment at the hands of Israeli authorities was deeply personal for her mother. Danielle Stillman is the rabbi of Middlebury College. She teaches the values that Leila is living. Her daughter is now paying the price. The Israeli government of Benjamin Netanyahu may have hoped that by coming down hard on a young American activist that it would silence her. The opposite has occurred. Stillman-Utterback has spoken out in multiple interviews in the Israeli press. “My deportation felt like a betrayal,” wrote Stillman-Utterback in a powerful essay about her ordeal in The Forward, an independent Jewish American news publication. “Israel was supposed to be for me, for every Jew. But the settler movement and the current government would like to redefine what it means to be Jewish along political lines.”Stillman-Utterback rejects the notion that criticizing Israel is somehow antisemitic. “I've grown up my entire life with a connection to Israel, with a love for it even,” she told The Vermont Conversation. “I have also grown up my entire life being allowed to be critical of Israel and … frustrated [and] angry.” She added that it was essential that “in a time of real rising antisemitism globally, that we are able to hold criticism and love at the same time. I really do think that it's possible.”Stillman-Utterback's treatment is part of a larger crackdown on Palestinians and Jewish activists by the Israeli government and right-wing settlers who operate with near impunity in Palestinian communities. In October, there were 126 olive harvest-related settler attacks against Palestinians, and Israel detained and deported 32 foreign activists who were accompanying Palestinian harvesters near the town of Burin, according to the UN's Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.Stillman-Utterback, who two years ago was named a Bronfman Fellow, a cohort of high-achieving Jewish teens, is appealing her ban from Israel and is committed to staying engaged. “We need to maintain our relationships in order to show that there are people who are committed to a peaceful and just future. It doesn't matter what it looks like, whether it's a two state solution, whether it's binational, it only matters that that we end the violence and that we end the occupation, that we move towards equality. Any movement towards equality and towards an end in violence, towards accountability for settler actions, is a move in the right direction.”Rabbi Danielle Stillman said that she's “inspired by [Leila's] principled willingness to hang in with Israel despite this really harrowing, dramatic experience, and that that really comes from her Jewish values … to contribute to building a better society in a place that she's come to really care about.”Rabbi Stillman said that American Jews are deeply divided about Israel, especially along generational lines. A recent Washington Post survey found that just over half of Jewish Americans — and two thirds of those over 65 — say they are emotionally attached to Israel, but only about one third of those ages 18 to 34 feel that attachment. About half of younger Jews are more likely to say Israel has committed genocide in Gaza, compared to about one third of older Jews.Leila's arrest and expulsion “just makes me really concerned about the future of the relationship between Israel and the diaspora, between American Jews and Israeli Jews,” said Rabbi Stillman.Rabbi Stillman criticized how antisemitism is being “used in a certain way to further an agenda of silencing solidarity with Palestinians and silencing speech in general on many college campuses.”Leila Stillman-Utterback is now back home in Middlebury figuring out what she will do with the rest of her gap year before attending Williams College in the fall of 2026. She expressed gratitude towards her parents.“I was taught to always stay in a place of not knowing, even if it's uncomfortable, and I feel immensely grateful for never being told that only one answer is right, and for always being taught to live in that liminal space.”

The 2022 documentary Prince Andrew: Banished (streaming on Peacock) traces the life and fall of Prince Andrew, Duke of York from a privileged royal heir to a pariah within the monarchy. The film lays out how his upbringing—born into the spotlight and dubbed the “spare” heir—combined with a taste for social privilege and celebrity to set the stage for his association with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. It uses archival footage and interviews with royal insiders, journalists, and palace staff to show how Andrew's decisions—his friendship with Epstein, his public gaffes, and his fixation on status—gradually eroded the monarchy's image. In its second half the documentary zeroes in on the scandal that pushed Andrew into disgrace: the accusations of sexual misconduct linked to Epstein's trafficking network and the infamous 2019 interview that became a PR disaster for the royals. The narration details how Andrew's account of his friendship with Epstein and his responses to allegations—such as his “Pizza Express” remark and his professed inability to sweat—were widely ridiculed and damning. The consequence: Andrew stepped back from public duties, lost his patronages, and saw his public reputation collapse. The film positions his downfall not as a sudden event but as the inevitable result of decades of privilege, cronyism, and failure to reckon with accountability.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com
