Allen Odvody was a corporate employee with 20 years of experience who turned to entrepreneurship with Fibrenew. Driven by innovation and creativity, Allen is always seeking new adventures, aiming to inspire and make a difference. Key Take Takeaways from this Conversation: 1) We are not defined by how we do on our good days but by how we endure and overcome on our bad days. 2) You got to be involved if you are a franchise owner. There is a low percentage for it to succeed if you will not put time and effort on it. That is why it is important to find a franchise that you love. 3) The power of “do it” is so important. You can be born at any age but you have to do it, believe in yourself and have that level of confidence. Don't be scared in making a mistake, just try not to to the same mistake twice. You will start to grow as you learn from it, it might be hard at first but everything that is worth it is always hard.Enjoy the conversation, and thanks to JLD and the Entrepreneurs on Fire crew!

When all three of them were getting to a point where they were spending too much time in the business, instead of working on the business, they all knew it was time to hire an admin. So, they banded together and hired a shared admin who now quarterbacks each of their businesses handling inbound phone calls, emails, and texts, creating quotes, handling scheduling, invoicing, and much more. It took a load off their shoulders and helped make way for them to generate more business each week.In this conversation, you'll hear how JT, Mat, and Mark have structured everything with their shared admin, how the technical logistics work, how they pay her, and also just how valuable and vital she's become to their businesses. He reached a point to which wearing all those hats was not sustainable for the long haul. So he made a switch and hired an admin to quarterback the organization and day-to-day logistics of running the business. Fibrenew Vancouver was transformed the moment Erin Jackson came on board. She helped pave the way for Brian to do more work, which increased his revenue, stayed more organized, was able to take proper vacations, and have more family time.In this conversation, you'll hear how Brian and Erin have structured everything and about Erin's changing role in the business today which continues to open up more opportunities. We hope you enjoy listening in, cheers!

It was perfect for her for some time, but considering the fact that her husband, Drew, is also a helicopter pilot, the couple's work-life balance was not balanced at all. “I needed a serious lifestyle change,” she says. So Genevieve looked to franchising for her next step. On her list of “must-haves” was financial freedom and a flexible schedule. When Genevieve first heard about Fibrenew, she says she wasn't really excited about the concept. “Leather, plastic, and vinyl restoration didn't sound very sexy,” she says. But as she dug deeper, she discovered a lot about Fibrenew that she really liked. “I loved the fact that I could scale the business at my own pace,” she says. She also liked the possibilities for different types of jobs and clients. “No two days are ever the same. I love that part,” she says.We hope you enjoy this conversation!
