God has the most important job as the gardener and caretaker. He watches over and makes His vineyard the best it can be. John 15:1-2 "I am the true vine and my father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch that does not bear fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, so that it will be even more fruitful." Repentance isn't for punishment, its a gift.
John 15:7-8 Jesus says that His words should remain in us so that we have power by receiving what we ask of the Father. The disciples who were present at the time of Jesus witnessed his power and exercised it for themselves. Mark 3:14- Jesus is the one who appoints authority. Christ wants us to abide in him so that by doing so he will work through us. Jesus wants his followers to free people just like he did. He freed captives. His name holds power over evil. We should live our lives declaring power in the holy name of JESUS!
