The Max White Presents podcast is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon by accident, and I'm so glad that I did. This podcast is not only entertaining, but it also provides insightful interviews and stories from both the host and his guests. As someone who is not a comic, listening to their passion and hearing about their creative ventures has inspired me to work harder on my own projects. I am definitely going to make sure to check out one of Max's shows when I'm in town.
One of the best aspects of The Max White Presents podcast is the wide range of guests that Max brings on. From working stand-up comics to skateboarders, there is something for everyone. It's great to hear from comics who are currently in the trenches and get an inside look into what it's like to be a working or struggling comedian in today's world. Max's interviewing skills are top-notch, and he does a fantastic job of bringing out each guest's unique outlook on life and humor.
While there aren't many negative aspects to this podcast, one downside may be that it caters primarily to those interested in comedy or creative pursuits. If you're not into those topics, you may not find as much enjoyment in this podcast. Additionally, some listeners may find Max's style of humor slightly condescending at times. However, I personally find it endearing and believe it adds to the overall charm of the show.
In conclusion, The Max White Presents podcast is a must-listen for anyone with even a passing interest in comedy or creative pursuits. Whether you're a comic looking for valuable insights or just someone who enjoys humorous storytelling, this podcast has something for everyone. With its entertaining interviews and high production value, it's no wonder that this podcast has quickly become one of my favorites. Keep up the great work, Max! I'm eagerly looking forward to more episodes in the future.

In this episode we cover the span of Dave's career in skateboarding, starting with his first pushes as a child through his teenage years where he packed everything up in a bag and bought a one way bus ticket to Southern California to chase down his dream of skateboarding year-round. What stands out about Dave and his experiences are the time in which they took place, the late-90s. This era, during the resurgence of skateboarding and arguably the most progressive time in skateboarding's past was not only witnessed by Dave, but he worked hard enough to leave his own mark on an era that nowadays is looked back upon fondly and even big enough to garner exploitation by the film industry. My favorite part of this whole experience has easily been getting to know more and more about the great Dave Coyne. He took a leap of faith pre-internet on an open invite to crash on a couch in San Diego and the rest, as they say, is history. And yes, I ask him about his time on Osiris and the D3. The triumphant return of Eric Kelly to MWP! Eric Kelly is a Florida-born, Brooklyn-raised former fighter and current trainer. A member of the 2000 U.S. Olympic Team, Eric recently opened up his first gym SouthBox by Eric Kelly located in the Bronx, NYC. This episode was recorded live inside the SouthBox ring on July 13, 2017 before the gym was open for business. Now that 6 months have past since the gym opened it is an undeniable success with celebrities, athletes, and world class fighters regularly stopping by to train.
