We are Richard and Polly, a Father-Daughter duo with this light-hearted podcast speaking about everything from cricket to music, travel to faith. We would love to hear what you think so contact us on Instagram or Twitter!

A scorcher in Manchester saw South Africa edge past India in a game that slipped through the hands of India. Down in Bristol, Sri Lanka struggled and the West Indies made a low chase look tough.

We are not short of things to talk about today with threeamazing games in Southampton and Headingley. Firstly the big one we've been waiting for, Australia v The Netherlands. We were delighted to see Babette de Leede and Robine Rijke, friends of the pod, play their 100th IT20 and watch the Netherlands dismiss a few of the Aussies. Then the surprise of Bangladesh v Pakistan where Bangladesh caused a bit of upset after Pakistan looked so stable. Finally, we were at Headingley for Scotland v England where the Scots were as loud as ever but fielding mistakes stole the show and Englanddominated with the bat.

Another absolute thriller as Ireland took New Zealand to the final ball in Southampton. So close yet so far for Ireland but we're always happy to see Suzie Bates included for New Zealand and what an impact she had.

What a game! It was the first day of the World Cup where neither of us were at a game but we kept our eyes locked on the Scotland v West Indies match at Headingley.

Richard was at Edgbaston for the crazy game between South Africa and Pakistan. Plus we chat about Australia thrashing Bangladesh and the Netherlands' first every IT20 against India.

What a day in Southampton! Sri Lanka up set the champions and England followed by going two from two. There's concern over Nat Sciver-Brunt for England who retired out as a precaution but England are heading towards securing a semi-final spot. This episode is a little bit different as Polly was off to commentate in Durham at 5:30am and Richard got home just after midnight so the podcast is a little bit stitched together using voice notes but I hope you appreciate the innovation.Richard's report on New Zealand v Sri Lanka: https://noughtiechildpodca.wixsite.com/my-site/post/reigning-champions-let-the-trophy-slip-through-their-fingers

It was a special day watching the Netherlands' T20 World Cup debut as well and India v Pakistan yesterday. If you couldn't tell, we're a little bit tired after five games in 48 hours and there aren't any games today so we will be back on Wednesday!Polly's report on Netherlands v Bangladesh: https://noughtiechildpodca.wixsite.com/my-site/post/we-belong-here-the-netherlands-proud-despite-falling-short-on-t20-world-cup-debutRichard's thoughts on India v Pakistan: https://noughtiechildpodca.wixsite.com/my-site/post/cool-calm-mandhana-steers-india-to-victory-on-a-raucous-and-sweltering-day-at-edgbaston

We were at Old Trafford for two matches yesterday where we witnessed a historic win for Scotland and Australia doing what they do best. We of course weren't in Southampton to witness the thriller between West Indies and New Zealand but we share our thoughts on what we saw from afar.
